Halloween has been eliminated by the Chaorican government for public safety reasons. It was not a particularly popular holiday even before the ban.

It is a popular between both Christians, Jackalists, Satanists and it is a particularly popular as it is always the day with the lowest crime rate.

What is this Halloween? It sounds like an old Druidic holiday.

(Just to be clear, the Arcturan Empire's timeline never saw the rise of Christianity, and so Halloween never evolved past an obscure tribal harvest festival.)

Halloween is frowned upon in Vamprium. Only by the fact that humans tend to dress up ridiculously in fake vampire garb. However, we do have a 'Blood Night' on the 31st which celebrates true vampire culture.

Halloween is celebrated by a minority, mostly by PeaceKeepers hailing from Earth. However, in recent years it has grown in popularity, as who doesn't want an excuse for free candy. In fact, many of the newcomers celebrate it with more enthusiasm than those born into it.

During the long era of Human government, Halloween was more of a time for mourning, due to a violent insurrection occuring on Halloween. However, with the new Equine led government, Halloween, or Nightmare Night, is avidly celebrated, and a big time for marketing for the underwater city's many businesses.

Halloween is celebrated, but usually in the form of costume parties and the like.

Trick or treating never caught on here in Gandoor.

Halloween

Postby Justified Republic » Mon Oct 06, 2014 3:21 pm

Halloween is celebrated amongst many citizens but is not a "work excuse" holiday. A company may or may not choose to let workers have a little one day vacation but it is not government enforced.

It's banned due to the trouble with trick or treating (either one is too young to safely trick or treat, or to old for it) and because firecrackers were being put through people's letterboxes, with one or two deadly results.

Halloween is the third biggest event on the calendar. It's widely celebrated in Westray in all the usual ways: trick-or-treating, fancy dress parties, innocent revelry and the odd prank gone too far.

It's generally just the stuffy types who don't enjoy it.

The Srpska Government has only the western part of the land having Halloween as an Holiday, but the the other parts don't. Mostly because on the Western Part of Srpska there are Catholics, and on other parts, Serbian Orthodox.

It's not celebrated, however All Saint's Day on the 1st of November is celebrated but it's a very solemn occasion where people light candles and visit the graves of family and friends. There have been attempts to bring Halloween but it has so far been rejected as disrespectful towards All Saint's Day.

Tinell doesn't celebrate Halloween in it's most known form, rather, we have a similar celebration with much of the same themes.

As of the early 1990's, the Tinellian festival of war, known as "Kharkithallen" has been announced every year by the current royal family, in a loud festival involving metal, fireworks, and generally a lot of screaming come October first. For the entire month, Tinellian citizens are expected to dress in battle garments from past, present, or future and embrace their ancestor's glory in battle. This goes on until the 31st, when Tinellian children are sent out onto the crowded streets to begin collecting gifts from adults, a symbolic gesture of a generation passing on knowledge and skill to the next. After this is over, on November 1st the royal family announces the close of the festival with another loud celebration.

Although regular Halloween is popular too, I guess.
