The Unified Federal Republic of Tovakestan is, as one would guess, a federal republic. Tovakestan used to be a constitutional monarchy until the tsars died out in the 1850's, by 1867, The Tovakestonian Parliament created a new constitution based heavily upon the United States Constitution. In 1871, the new constitution was ratified. So, to sum it up, Tovakestan used to be a constitutional monarchy, but now it is a "Jeffersonian" democracy.

An Absolute Monarchy with a royal court that contains the appointed head of each administrative region (for FT this is a rep for each sub-nation) put in place in whichever manner the local people deem fit, normally these positions are hereditary but the nature of Imperial culture means that they think more of the people they represent than their own land and titles.

Technically a dictatorship, albeit one with an excellent human rights record. Democracy is not thought of highly in Enatai due to its history with democracy as an import which was used as a justification by foreign forces to claim legitimacy for an oppressive government which tried to stamp out the way of life held in Enatai for thousands of years. Most of these foreign interests were setting up rigged elections and using gerrymandering and force to impose restrictive moral codes and oligarchic economic practices. When there was a popular uprising and the democratic government was overthrown, a national monarchy was instated which continues to this day, with large levels of popular support. The idea of political rights is not lost on Enataian citizens but the general idea is that votes are for local elections, which, if crooked, can be righted by a higher authority which, due to its level of authority, has no incentive for corruption. The idea of a monarchy is seen not as a blow against popular power but a prevention of a tyranny of the majority; the Royal Family styles itself (and is popularly thought of) as an institution which ensures that civil rights and liberties are absolutely ironclad, preventing--hopefully forever--the threat of another tyranny of a fake majority.

We are a self-perpetuating Oligarchy, with power concentrated in the hands of a small and almost (but not entirely) impenetrable clique of prominent, inter-related families. The Cabinet Council is appointed by the Doge, and they in turn organise the composition of the Senate. Most citizens are overwhelmingly apathetic about politics (and, to be fair, about pretty much everything else), and their most treasured political right is the right to ignore the whole circus.

The Irish People's Republic is a benevolent dictatorship. It does retain some democratic features such as democratic local elections, regular referendums, a relatively free press and relatively good levels of free speech. The federal and provincial legislatures - the Dáil (federal) and the Provincial Assemblies (provincial) are elected but all candidates must be members of the governing party and are pre-approved by local party bureaucrats. While Ireland is a de jure parliamentary republic, most power lies with federal and local Politburos and heads of government.
