I didn't see a thread for this subject, so I wondered whether there were more democracies or dictatorships.

Neither, we are a constitutional monarchy.
However, the local and state governments are parliamentary democracies or semi-absolute monarchies. The former is much more common.

Neither, similarly to Azukhia, Kingdoms and States represented in the Council of State are constitutional monarchy, with increasing role of the legislatures.

There is a lot more than just democracy and dictatorship. At the federal level, Dagnia is a constitutional republic where the Chief Executive is elected by popular vote and the legislature is chosen by a lottery that is similar to jury duty in the US. This arrangement is hardly a dictatorship, but not exactly a democracy either. The prefectures are allowed to organize themselves as they see fit, though outright dictatorship is one thing the federal constitution prohibits at any level of government. Direct democracies are common in small towns, while some larger cities and prefectures give their executive near dictatorial power, though always with some kind of check, and free speech is still considered sacrosanct. However, the most common form of government at the local and prefecture levels is something resembling the federal government but with both legislators and executives elected by popular vote.
