The flag of the United Arab Soviet Republic of Alsheb is essentially the Arab Liberation Flag, first used by Nasser and the Free Officers back in 1952, to which Communist symbolism has been added.

The red band stands for the blood of the martyrs who died for the Arab Revolution. The black band at the bottom represents the dark past that we had to overcome (hence being at the bottom) and the white expresses the bright future ahead of us.
The blue chevron represents harmony, with the red star in the middle standing for Marxism-Leninism, expressing the fact that only through Communism true harmony can be attained.

The runes found in the clasp of the Eagle is a national symbol of pride.

The six stars on black represent the six original colonies, which later came to form the states (there are eight now) the yellow four pointed star is the symbol of the BHS Hawkwood, the ship that first discovered Hyfling's landmass and initiated colonisation. The blue represents the ocean while the black represents the fertile earth. Which later was found to be not-so fertile (only the initial colonised areas were exceptionally good farmland, while the remainder was mostly average or too mountainous and rocky to farm).

The red and white stripes represent the ships of the First Fleet, 6 (red) transports and 4 (white) military vessels.
