The red background represents the blood of our enemies. The golden lion represents the Nordic man ready to fight for his fatherland to the death, if needed. The silver axe in the golden lion's paws represents the discipline of Kongeregian citizens and the lengths they go to defend their country.

Nice! A simple design holding more meaning than what it appears to mean!

Additionally, since the golden lion is holding a silver axe, one could say that the axe symbolizes fascism for remotely resembling the fasces in the eyes of some people, but that is the official symbolism of our national flag.

Sometime during the third century, however, things changed. The Wanderers grew tired of wandering. They longed for a place, unique among all the world, to call home. But no land they had ever encountered had ever compelled them to stay.

Having gone through several cards now, Inocencio pulls out a particularly bright one, with vivid tones of orange and gold.

Great was their surprise when, lo and behold!, as daylight broke, they found the hill exactly where the boy said it would be. Excited, they hurried joyfully to the top as the sun began to rise beyond the horizon. This is what they saw.

He holds the card for all to see. Two beautiful, yet fierce, great lions, rampant, roaring and clawing at the air before them. Between them, a lone white dove with an olive branch in its beak, taking flight. Above, a brilliant five-pointed star, fashioned as an ornate golden pentagram. Beyond, the morning sun rising over the new land.

Two fear-inspiring lions roared and clawed, standing on their hind legs and swiping at the air in front of them. A white dove, completely unperturbed by the two great beasts that flanked her, takes flight with an olive branch in its beak (a symbol of peace and hope for the Meshika, despite all hardships), and a beautiful golden star floating high above the ground, all on its own, brilliant even against the rising sun.

The lions didn't speak, but they didn't have to. The Meshika had found a place to call home.

The flag of the Republic of Reprieval consists of a thin, grey border surrounding a blue-white-blue vertical tricolor. A yellow wreath is emblazoned in the center of the flag, with the Reprievalian coat of arms inside.

The white represents the peace and free idealism that the settlers of Reprieval's islands aimed for in their voyage; while the blue that surrounds it represents the vast, unforgiving oceans that surround these islands.

The wreath that takes center stage on this flag represents freedom in a way that is difficult to explain. As a laurel wreath was presented to Olympic champions in the ancient Games, the wreath was presented to Reprieval because they champion the causes of freedom in this part of the world. The golden colour of the wreath represents the success and prosperity that the settlers found on these islands in their quest for freedom, and their lives as a community of idealists.
