Nice! A simple design holding more meaning than what it appears to mean!

[...] Long time ago. The Wanderers were a strong, proud people, who for hundreds of years traveled from island to island across the world's oceans. Nobody knows where they were originally from, but legends say they were birthed forth by the moon, who gave them free reign across all the eretz. They called their place of origin "the navel of the Moon."
Sometime during the third century, however, things changed. The Wanderers grew tired of wandering. They longed for a place, unique among all the world, to call home. But no land they had ever encountered had ever compelled them to stay.
Always the sea called them back, the many moons and suns saying it was time to set off again.
Inocencio pulls out another card. This one shows a lush green island teeming with wildlife, under a tropical sun.
In the year 248, the Wanderers landed on what is now Ténoch Island. There they founded a village, and attempted to stay. But once again, the heavens beckoned them back into the sea, and so they set off once more, and many years later came upon the isle of Meshik.
Stories say that the very air of this new island was sweeter, that the water was fresher, the fruits tastier, the wildlife tamer, and the weather was the mildest they had ever come across. The Wanderers had found Paradise.
And it was here that a young Wanderer had a vision. One night in the year 322, upon reaching a hill overlooking a beautiful lake in the middle of the night, the young Meshika saw a huge golden star rise high above him. A lion's voice spoke to him, and told him this was to be his homeland. His people had been blessed with the best home on the eretz.
Somewhat in fear, the boy awoke with a yell, startling those who slept around him. He recounted his dream, and was met with some skepticism, and even laughter from the other villagers, but eventually, with dawn many hours ahead, they decided to search for this hilltop of his dreams.
Having gone through several cards now, Inocencio pulls out a particularly bright one, with vivid tones of orange and gold.
Great was their surprise when, lo and behold!, as daylight broke, they found the hill exactly where the boy said it would be. Excited, they hurried joyfully to the top as the sun began to rise beyond the horizon. This is what they saw.
He holds the card for all to see. Two beautiful, yet fierce, great lions, rampant, roaring and clawing at the air before them. Between them, a lone white dove with an olive branch in its beak, taking flight. Above, a brilliant five-pointed star, fashioned as an ornate golden pentagram. Beyond, the morning sun rising over the new land.
Two fear-inspiring lions roared and clawed, standing on their hind legs and swiping at the air in front of them. A white dove, completely unperturbed by the two great beasts that flanked her, takes flight with an olive branch in its beak (a symbol of peace and hope for the Meshika, despite all hardships), and a beautiful golden star floating high above the ground, all on its own, brilliant even against the rising sun.
The lions didn't speak, but they didn't have to. The Meshika had found a place to call home.
