Burning/defacing the flag of French Cannabis or its allies is considered treason, and punishable by 3 months in prison. However, it is perfectly legal, and even encouraged, to burn the flags of enemy nations/groups of nations (such as the US, UK, and NATO).

That will just get you killed or seriously hurt, because our citizens are extremely patriotic (partly because of Russians' long association with nationalism and partly because of indoctrination from an early age).

You are permitted to burn the Walosian flag. Legally speaking it is completely legal, however, its not socially acceptable

CANON UPDATE (OOC):
I have given this a lot of thought and I have decided to do some major changes to the Walosian History Canon.

The largest change that I will be doing is the removal of the “Walosian-Khelsharian War of 2009” and the following abdication of Empress Liat as well as the removal of the character Liat completely. The reason why is because I have developed my nation into a more realistic fashion during the 2014-2015 era and after reviewing older post I see that the war and abdication of Liat is both unrealistic, doesn’t fit with the overall nation and is simply unprofessional.

It is illegal to burn the flags of any nation, and it can range from a hefty fine of at least a few hundred lira to a couple years in prison. That said, officials do turn a blind eye to flags of enemy nations.

In Rejistania, burning flags is illegal even if they are enemy nations. Under blasphemy laws. It is believed that burning a flag insults the territorial spirits of that area.

It is illegal to burn the Yakusan flag in public, but it's not illegal if it is done privately. Burning the flags of other nations in public is generally illegal, but not privately.

I also play badminton and will represent my nation in the next Olympic. At that time, I'll be most likely replaced by my roommate here, Arina. She works at the grocery store next to our apartment.

Why are you saying bad things about me, Rima? I am an author and I own that grocery store!
Oh look! She won the gold medal. Now I should stand her bragging about it.

This is still my eyes though.

They can, however, burn Communist, Canwall, or Ruswallian flags.

However, it is illegal to destroy or shame the flag of Zecatera, as it would be seen as an act against the emperor, and is punishable through death by torture.

It is treason to burn or otherwise desecrate our national flag, and the punishment is death. It's very likely that the flag-burner would be dismantled alive (using brute force) by an enraged mob long before the troops could even be dispatched, but if they managed to avoid that, they would be officially executed.

We do not believe that such scum are worth the effort it would take to torture them, so they would simply be thrown into the smelting pit like the garbage they are.

Burning foreign flags is legal, but we see it as a wimpy move that does nothing when it comes down to it. Therefore, those who hate particular foreign nations are encouraged to raid them or otherwise act to weaken them - as long as such actions won't bring unwanted international-scale military actions. If a raid would cause military retribution, those who hate the nation in question are encouraged to do something a bit more subtle to screw them up.

Burning the flag within Tawakina is illegal, but is often debated as being part of people's 'right to protest', to which Council has explicitly stated that;
"Protests will only be allowed if they are held in an organised and peaceful manner."

As for any other nation, the above rule applies, even if the nation in question is on unstable relations with Tawakina.
