If I've claimed too many, chop off a few at the bottom. Hard to count when there is so many little bits with shores and islands.

The Hexes in black are to be edited out of my territory. This should put me under the limit.

Hi there Siootan,

Judging from the fact that 29 hexes have been selected. I'm going to say that's unlikely.

By my count there are 11 full hexes and 18 half hexes. That means you have a total of 11 + (18/2) => 11+9 = 20 Full Hexes and I'm pretty sure I'm being generous. You'll need to remove three full hexes are six incomplete hexagons (or a combination there of) there abouts.

Thanks
~~Enfaru

Do you think I could have the land that I circled in yellow? (I know it's kind of difficult to see, sorry)

It's the island and shore beside Vermandois. Colour purple/blue.
The island was hard to judge the value of hexs so I just considered it worth 10 and added 7 onto the shore for a complete 17.
Keepin' the francophones together! 8)

EDIT: New location with out the mainland hex's(Less Area)

Can someone help with more specific directions? I saved, opened up in paint, and even when I go over the outsde edge of the hexes, the paint bucket wont let me fill it in. Obviously there is some other way to do this...

What I did was make two layers. and used the magic wand.
Layer 1, is the map. (Top)
Layer 2, is the colour you would like your nation to be. (Under)
Select the magic wand (you have to play with your tolerance percent)
and just select the areas you want.. use Ctrl+click to select more than one.
Press delete
Voila! c'est Magnifique! Your nation is born!

I didn't get into 4y Mechatronics based on my good looks
Paint.NET is amazing. Lots of good plug-ins. You can run photoshop if you want but im not that serious.. I just wanted something better than paint. However, for free software, Paint.NET give PS a run for it's money.
Ive got tens of self created wallpapers that even my friends ask copies for. You can get really skilled in no time, not much of a learning curve.

It helps if you can actually draw in the first place. :3.

But you 'could' just draw a thick line through the hexes you want (rather than around the hexes) it would be much easier.

If I were to add these hexes to my nation, would that put me over the limit? if not then I humbly request they be added.
