Lerodas Map Territory Requests [COG only]

Hello.
I can lay claim to 8 hexes.
I'd like to claim,
3507, 3607, 3707, 3608, 3508, 3408, 3609, 3509.

As per my colonial factbook, this is a colony in which the government only effectively holds 10% of the land, under its direct control. The rest is a wasteland, where the Crown buys local warlord's loyalty to have their people work in dismal conditions, extracting the resources the Crown founded the colony for.
The colony will also be plagued by tribal wars, that the local garrison will find difficult dealing with at the early stages of this colony.
However, politically and officially, these 8 hexes belong to Belhorizon.

I'll post my factbook and an introductory RP post on the RMB as soon as this is approved.

I just assumed you meant 1319 and have already made that addition to the map. If you're okay with 1319, I'll keep it, but a change to 0920 is okay

That sector is currently being claimed by another nation (Belhorizon). You and he can always discuss a possible compromise. But, otherwise, you'll need to pick a new sector.

Hey Iltaak.

Minor request for changes to Paixão's climate map:

Arid areas near 4017, 3916 etc become temperate - on account of rainfall coming from the coast.

IC I've had this area as a an area with a rich and persistent agricultural capacity, and with high rainfall to the North (and no doubt rivers coming form the mountains) and a big sea to the west I don't believe it would be utterly unreasonable for it to be more temperate, rather than arid

Also can I claim any more land? I ask because I have my eyes on something; 2314, 2414, and 2415 to be specific.

If you read the rules at the Heading of this Forum Thread, You'll see that you can only expand by one sector at a time, and such an expansion must be preceded by an RP Story or Post of some sort.

Also, it'd be rather impossible to change your area's Climatic layout in such an Extreme manner. Your nation's Southern-most area extends no further than the 35th Parallel. In comparison, that line straddles straight across the center of america, almost right on top of D.C. and goes straight through the Mediterranean Sea. In the Real World examples, there are NO tundras at that Latitude.

However, Looking at the Real world example and comparing it more closely with the Lerodas model, it seems that an Extension of the Temperate Climate range is in order all across the planet.
