Other countries have been this way historically, like when the Nazis, and soviets, and the Ottomans when they killed millions of people. Many nations, even today do not have the equal rights that they deserve under the United Nations charter of human Rights. So, NationStates, does your nation have human rights issues?

But it's certainly not going around gassing people or purging dissidents - in fact the death penalty has been illegal since 1959 and it's impossible to get more than 21 years in prison (and prisons are like hotels anyway) even if you do commit a terrible crime.

Human rights are a mere spook, as Johann Kaspar Schmidt would have put it. They are defended for their own sake and nothing else, which their liberal and leftist adherents conveniently forget about. To be entitled to something because they happen to belong to species Homo Sapiens encourages laziness and weakness. That all said, human rights aren't an issue in the Fourth Germanic Imperium.

Here, there are no rights; only privileges. Privileges are earned by living up to the standard of the Proper Decepticon: By being strong, brave, willing to seize opportunities when they arise, and both willing and able to forcibly make opportunities when they otherwise would not arise.

So, technically, there can be no "issues" with human rights because there is no such thing as human rights. Only humans themselves would promote such a preposterous concept.

Humans from Earth, in particular, not only don't have any rights but have only one privilege: The privilege to live in exchange for their ceaseless, loyal, labor under their Decepticon masters. This is because they provoked us to war, persisted despite being warned that we would indeed respond with military force, and then lost horribly.

Since humans became subjects of our empire due to their losing a war against us, and one that they could have easily avoided just by banning a movie (Bay's Transformers), we don't think too much of them at all. As the losers, they are our chattel property by right of conquest. The specific circumstances surrounding the war make them even worse scum. They are treated rather harshly even now, almost 200 years after the Decepticon-Earth War. We demand their complete loyalty and obedience and force them to meet heavy labor quotas. We've also shipped them to a variety of organic worlds to do our mining since leaving them on Earth proved to be unstrategic.

An intelligent species simply does not provoke a hostile alien army to war when it cannot yet even put a military force on its own moon. This alone proves that humans are unintelligent animals. If they had more sense than the other animals on their planet, they would have withdrawn that movie even if they did think it was a "petty" thing to declare war over (as their propaganda often said). Obviously we did not see it as a petty reason, but instead, a serious insult to our military honor and one that was well worth waging a war over - and war soon commenced.

Earth's humans were also beset by doublethink. If they thought a movie was a "petty" thing, as some of their talking heads had loudly claimed, they wouldn't have had any trouble banning it and recalling it from distribution rather than going to war. Such split "thinking" is typical of defectives and wimps who are not used to doing any actual thinking and, presumably, aren't able to.

They are very lucky that we were gracious enough to not summarily annihilate them all as being too defective to live.

tl;dr: We don't believe in rights, and most certainly not for that conquered species.
