Other than that, unemployment issues are solved by assigning citizens to different jobs. If one for any reason is fired or quits a job, he is immediately reassigned to a different job where his skills and talents could be useful.

There is no need for other forms of welfare for the above reason, since every Sidh can always make a living through hard and honest work.

Rationing of food is the normal practice in the Imperium, every Sidh being entitled to three free meals a day, his own Codex also serving as a ration card. Most goods are in fact rationed, and the practice is accepted as the norm, given how Sidh society in general is organized along and accustomed to military discipline and organization.

Generally welfare and food stamps are provided to individuals that are unable to work, homeless, seniors, veterans, orphans, unemployed independents looking for work, and individuals or households earning less than a set amount depending on the number of dependent individuals. Food stamps are further expanded to all unemployed independents while unemployment is restricted to only the unemployed independents looking for work.

The nation has a opt-out, central, tax-funded universal system that provides subsidies to all citizens and long term residents in physical, mental, and dental services.
