Our borders are surrounded by military fences and are guarded 24/7 by the Imperial Border Patrol (IBP).

At sea:
Coast Guard - 1st line of defense
Robotic detonator fish - 2nd line of defense
Missiles, cannons, bunkers, anti-air and machine gun turrets - Final line of defense

On land:
Border police at all crossings and checkpoints.
Sniper bunkers.

The ocean guardians guard the sea with their patrol boats and their patrolling territory is 200 kilometers from the nearest Filipino coastline and there is a policy that unfortunate foreign fishermen who don't have anything to catch are allowed to fish in Filipino waters yet if they are doing so merely because of gluttony for more fish, they would be penalized as true intruders. All land borders are meanwhile, militarized with infantry alone and AA lines of defenses are positioned 2 kilometers from the border. The nearest airfields form the quick aerial response team if any threat crosses the border.

We have security agency apart of the Home Office that regulate immigration, both legal and illegal, control the movement of citizens and execute the customs functions. Preventing the smuggling of drugs, weapons, endangered species and other illegal or hazardous material.

During wartime they provide assistance in a limited capacity to the regular army which then comes and mans all the border outposts at the international borders. The Guard's outposts are then often reworked into well fortified dug-in positions from where regular Army units can operate.

Being composed of a main island and a couple more little isles, the Navy ensures border security. The Army also has some old Cold War-era bunkers and other shore observation posts.

Well, to get into the main central nation of Ragnarum...

A 6 metre deep trench, a 5 metre tall reinforced mesh fence with sharp things immediately on the other side and then a 8 metre tall 80cm thick steel reinforced concrete wall with anti-RPG mesh, thermal and night vision equipped heavy machine gun and lookout towers every 500 metres.
Each border crossing is essentially a fortress.

For the rest of the border, its usually a small metre tall razor wire fence with a sign saying "Piss off" or something similar. Ragnarum hires armed guards to patrol along this low intensity border and watch over it however. The border crossings here are more like a small checkpoint with about 8 armed guards with dogs checking stuff over. However if anything goes awry here they can quickly call in reinforcements.

We have very strong boarder security - we absolutely prohibit all boards to enter the country.

We are usually at peace with neighbors on our immediate borders. They respect us enough to use the official border checkpoints when entering the country.

Our border safety mostly involves land rather than taking up coastal expenses - there remains a small force of armed naval drone ( small submarines ) which patrol the borders - due to the sheer inhospitality of our north , border security is there only during the summers - Large numbers of Mechanized patrols are present checkposts this is all managed by the Border Guard Service - Directed by the VKO -

Several Palma batteries are also present - vast numbers of scouts are recruited and unmanned vehicles phased out of T-72 spare's regularly patrol the border - no one gets in or out - the police puts a lot of work into border management and our armed forces are most concentrated there - in peace times often entire regiments are still retained at the border - unmanned technology is used excessively in this field - there a 14 acre Dead Zone around all our borders which means any obstacles here are cleaned and completely rigged with traps minefields and other forms of defence technology -

Across our land borders beyond the dead zone we build 100 ft walls rigged with personnel and artillery intelligence officers are posted to make sure there is no one capable of misconduct - nuclear waste materials from old weaponry is often sprayed on soils in the dead zone to make sure no one makes it across alive - Helicopter Patrols are regular our defence batteries rival CIWS systems , capable of dealing with any threat , coastal weapons have specialized Anti-Boat weaponry -

In short this system makes sure no one in our army is idle reservists make round trips to border guard duties - getting an extra pay - after the police and the army - a vast sum is dedicated to this service - the whole programme is Designated Iron Curtain and Is continually being improved.

For us, its just a matter of adjusting the tide around the islands to make the jagged rocks underneath barely visiable on occasion, amongst the crashing waves rising over them as well as the ww2 era military bunkers and cannon guns along the boarders, ready to defend us against invaders that dont get smashed upon the huge amount of ship breaking rocks surrounding us. And yes our ww2 era cannon guns can take out a tank or heavily armored helicopter or bomber plane as much as an enemy ship, or multiple in one shot if they are close enough together. Also, armed gaurd posts at any and all otherwise blind spots.

Distruzio is an island nation. Our borders are natural in origin.
