Prostitution is legal in Flardania, but all components of the sex industry are owned by the state. Prostitution will happen no matter what so in the interest of safety in is regulated. Health check-up are mandatory upon every visit and workers are checked prior to their shift. This is to ensure maximum quality service and protection for the workers. One must be at least 18 to work as a prostitute and 16 to acquire the services of one. All affairs must be heterosexual to help prevent STD in the workplace only exception is the C.S.T clause.

What exactly is "prostitution"? We use this term for soldiers and sub-officers who flirt with the officers to make career more quickly. It is not forbidden, but it is not something of which to be proud: "she did fast career as a prostitute" people says, and it is not a compliment.

Prostitution is legal, the only restriction is that it has to be closed for minors, so no windows with naked people.

Prostitution was completely illegal in Beiluxia until recently. After Parliament decriminalised it federally & vested jurisdiction to local authorities, prostitution is now highly regulated. Most cities, towns, and district councils outright ban the practice, though some major cities have red-light districts where the practice is legal at certain times of the day.

Re: Is Prostitution legal in your country?

Prostitution has just been legalised at the federal level in Yakus a long as it follows the following regulations in the Legal Prostitution Act 2014:

• Prostitution MUST take place ONLY within the premises of a legally licensed brothel.

• Brothels, brothel owners and prostitutes MUST be licensed to carry out their work. The licenses are issued by local authority and ensure that the prostitutes are treated fairly and are working of their own will.

• Prostitutes MUST undergo regular medical checks by a certified doctor.

• Prostitutes MUST be using medicinal contraception, such as the contraceptive pill or other form of birth control: IUDs are also mandatory for prostitutes.

• Brothel owners MUST ensure that their prostitutes are fairly treated and payed by their clients, as well as their establishment.

• Clients MUST be made to also use a condom for any type of sexual activity, including oral, anal and vaginal sex.

• Brothel institutes MUST pay a tax rate on the money they earn through prostitution acts.

• Clients MUST pay the prostitutes a direct fee which is to be kept by the prostitute, with the fee being at the discretion of the prostitute. Brothel institutes MUST also pay their prostitutes a suitable wage.

• Prostitutes shall uphold the rights to move between jobs as they please and also hold the right to take industrial action against their employers if necessary.

• Prostitute shall uphold the right to file suit against their employers or their clients if necessary.

• Brothel institutes shall be responsible for the health of their prostitutes. If a client receives an STI from a prostitute, the client shall uphold the right to file suit against the brothel institution. If a prostitute receives an STD from a client, then the brothel shall have the responsibility to provide medical treatment and/or compensation to the prostitute.

The purpose of the Legal Prostitution Act is to protect the safety, legal rights and dignity of the prostitutes as well as clients and brothel workers.

Street prostitution shall remain illegal a it is not regulated. It is an offence to solicit, provide or live off the earnings of unregulated prostitutuon.

Prostitution is legal. All prostitution must take place on licensed premises (with exceptions requiring permits). By law brothels must be organised as co-operatives with staff owning the business. Pimping and unlicensed prostitution are illegal.

Prostitution is fully legal and lightly regulated. A sort of prostitute, known as red maidens, are highly common and are similar to onsen geisha but viewed much more positively in the general public eye.

Prostitution is legal, but regulated. One must be at least 20 years old to be a prostitute or to employ their 'services', weekly STD tests are mandatory by law, and prostitutes may only promote their 'services' at licensed brothels.

No. Soliciting or using a prostitute can result in a $50,000 fine or three months imprisonment, supply of sex services can lead to up to one year in prison.

The clerics have deemed the practice illegal. Pornography is also illegal. The punishment for prostitution is a year in the monastery for the seller. For the buyer the penalty is a fine valued at twice the amount paid to the prostitute and a year in the monastery. For buyers and sellers with children or spouses their monastery time is replaced with twice weekly bible study classes and once weekly community service.

Illegal except for state purposes, disapproved by most, used only by the nationalized mafia (Eighth Legion, 3,3,八) to extort or extract information out of important foreigners. Others function as assassins within the same outfit (Eighth Legion, 3,1,八).

Those caught are exiled from their district and their names are put on a blacklist to warn other districts not to allow lodging or employment. Typically, a divorce also occurs as the jilted spouse would suffer incredible social pressure otherwise. Since only "healthy families" have vorting rights and blacklisted workers have no employment rights, the consequences function as a severe deterrant for most.

Sidhae are required to maintain proper decorum befitting of a master race, and therefore strictly forbidden from partaking or directly profiting from disreputable occupations like pornography, prostitution or slave trade, which entail "fleshmongering", i.e., making one's own or someone else's body available for the pleasure of others in any form. Prostitution in particular is therefore reserved exclusively for humans to organize and partake in.

That being said, Sidhae are permitted to use the services provided by pimps, pornographers and slave traders as customers (selling to the aforementioned involves "directly profiting" and is hence forbidden).

Like all other human enterprises, prostitution establishments are allowed to operate within the confines of the human ghettos. On starbases and worlds without any ghettos, entrepreneuring humans may obtain an "extra-territorial residence permit", essentially starting up their own mini-ghetto comprised just of their enterprises and residences, the difference from a proper ghetto being mainly in their residents being allowed access to the Sidh parts of the city or starbase in question as a matter of practical necessity. Although looked down upon as lowlife scum by Sidhae and many of their fellow humans, pimps and prostitutes are tolerated for the services they provide.

Since Sidhae are of higher class and status than humans, they are correspondingly very demanding customers, so brothels catering primarily to a Sidh clientele are likewise high-class establishments. Prostitutes in these venues are consequently well looked after. Many such brothels are organized by the prostitutes themselves to protect against exploitation and enslavement that often accompanies entrusting protection and security to pimps and their associates. Other, usually less-reputable establishments, are run by the ghetto gangs. The gangs also provide niche services for the more twisted and bizarre tastes where coercion and violence is often involved, such as child prostitutes and victims for sexual sadism. As far as the Imperial authorities are concerned, it is beyond their competence or concern, humans not being Sidhae and hence not subject to Imperial laws and conventions.

---

The one exception to Sidh involvement in prostitution are the hetairae, though any self-respecting hetaira would respond violently to the mere suggestion of comparing her occupation to a common prostitute. Although outsiders often use the term "courtesan" to describe the hetairae, Sidhae much prefer "socialite" or "companion" instead.

Sidh hetairae are essentially professional high-class entertainers, having more in common with Japanese geishas of old than courtesans, let alone prostitutes, the mere comparison to which would be seen as a grave insult to their profession and person. Their job entails providing company with intelligent conversation and discussion, artistic performances, games and general refinement, any sexual encounters taking place at their own discretion rather than as part of the services provided. The professional standards of a hetaira are very demanding, her (or more rarely, him) being required to be well-mannered and sophisticated, highly-sociable, knowledgeable on many subjects and up to date with the latest news and gossip. Hetairae are hired by Sidhae of rank and status to accompany them on public events and serve as hostesses in private banquets and receptions, where they take upon themselves to entertain the guests, and while they may become the mistresses of their clients at their own discretion, the sponsorship they receive is by no means provided for any sexual favours.
Freedom doesn't mean being able to do as one please, but rather not to do as one doesn't please.

A fool sees religion as the truth. A smart man sees religion as a lie. A ruler sees religion as a useful tool.

The more God in one's mouth, the less in one's heart.

Prostitution is legal in the CTM, however the sex industry is owned by the government to protect prostitutes and minimise spread of STIs (anyone who purchases services from a prostitute can be randomly tested for STIs, and prostitutes are legally required to undergo regular STI tests)
