Gangs? Friend, even if there were gangs here, no one would be afraid of them. A man points a gun at someone here trying to rob them, the "victim" will only laugh and keep walking. Because we have super police, in huge robotic armor with incredible speed, amazing power, and the ability to crush your skull like bubble wrap and they will arrive at the crime scene before it is even over. The largest gang we ever had was 180 strong, and we wiped them out in 45 minutes.

Marxina's largest street gang is the National Upholders, a neo-Nazi white supremacist group with over 2,500 members. They distribute fascist literature (not illegal, but generally frowned upon,) and there have been many instances of NU members murdering ethnic minorities. They run a large drug empire, but they are among the smaller groups of drug traffickers in Marxina, and it is also completely legal. In 1985, 560 NU members attempted to take over the city of Kriegsberg, and failed as the citizens fought back, a small amount of them dead, the rest fleeing. They are listed as Marxina's hate group by the people of Marxina's national list, a list compiled yearly of groups that are generally agreed upon by the public to be hate groups.

In Parhe there are no large gangs claiming control over territory. However, there are often small regional, closed-knit groups of friends, ranging from as little as five to up to a few hundred, that locally claim regions. In most cases there are identifiable leaderships, but the level of internal organization varies widely; in many gangs there is no internal structure outside of possibly a specific leader while complex structures are the norm in the few larger groups. The only large gang in Parhe is the Silk Willows that work mostly in drug, human, and arms trafficking.

Our nation has several gangs that are more or less ignored by local law enforcement. Occasional arrests are made on the spot, but few warrants ever make it through the system. Some gangs are racially motivated, though since almost all of the nation are under the same race, this is rare. Most gangs are simply kids who have been influenced wrongly by an outside source, and are looking for something to do.

Organised crime remains a problem in Vergarabat.

The first true organised crime began around the time of the early 1920s, when Vergarabat was a French colony and Italian immigrants brought the Sicilian Mafia with them. Over the course of the next decade, other groups, such as the 'Ndrangheta and Chinese Triads, set up shop here. They were mildly influential until independence in the late 1940s, when their stature increased exponentially, alongside Vergarabat's own, politically motivated (Islamic fundamentalist) Bazuru Clan.

The Clan was extremely involved in the new government, resulting in one of the most corrupt governments in the world for a time and precipitating the Vergarabati Civil Wars of the 1970s, when Clan members regularly clashed with communists and Christian fundamentalists, as well as with other gangs and amongst themselves in personal disputes. Many innocents were killed in this time - upwards to one million dead between 1972 and 1979 - and the national population has only recently recovered to pre-1972 levels. Following the establishment of the new government in late 1979, the Clan was hit hard by increased law enforcement and gradually faded away, while new Vergarabati gangs sprouted and the Mafia took what was left of the Clan's usable power (as government and gang were no longer nearly as closely intertwined, a separation that only grew during the 1980s.)

Nevertheless, organised crime maintains its prominence through drug and sex trafficking; the most prominent base of operation is the Aburai Valley in northwestern Vergarabat, a fertile region where an unholy fuckton of heroin and cannabis are regularly grown in spite of governmental attempts on local, regional, and national levels to curtail its distribution. Part of the problem lies, just as it has in the past century, with the compliance of the Indigenous Vergarabati nomads, who frequently peddle these drugs and partake in sex trafficking (including offering their own family members for the market and kidnapping other people, especially women of European ancestry) in an attempt to meet financial needs while maintaining their nomadic lifestyle. Another issue in curtailing the problem is the Aburai Valley region's prominent Islamic nationalism, which lends itself to difficulties in cooperation with authorities.

Unheard of. Peasants have no access to advanced weaponry, so forming gangs is incredibly difficult. Plus, if a Knight learns of a gang attempting to form within his manor, he simply sends a message to the Feudal Lord of the planet to send in the military to crush to gang.

The "Krimersian Brotherhood" is the only gang in The USSK. It is a right wing Neo nazi group that has 500 000 followers. It regularly attacks citizens and police officers. A total of 250 000 are in prison or have been executed.

Gangs are nonexistent as we have solved the poverty issue and banned firearms. The only ever conflict people have is whether they were first in line.

Most violent crime in Solavia- and don't get the wrong idea, there's a fair bit of that- is disorganized. Most 'gangs' are groups smaller than a dozen, engaging in petty theft and stealing parked cars. Those the police don't catch are sometimes 'made examples of' by the terrorist Red Brigades, who occasionally engage in straight-forward vigilantism.

And just so no foreign gangs get any ideas about a lack of competition- rape, kidnapping, and murder are all capital crimes, and there are no illegal drugs to deal. Death sentences are common, and appealing such sentences seldom works out in favor of the defendant.

There are a few, but it's not an huge issue. Most gangs are formed by immigrant communities in poorer neighbourhoods. Petty theft and the occasional mugging are the norm, but most gangs just want to look big and tough with very little to back up their image.

From time to time, a politically-motivated gang may form. In the past, these have typically far-right groups targeting ethnic minorities and communists.

We took care of the largest portion of our gang problem several years ago. Back in the 90s the President, along with Congress, temporarily issued a shoot-on-sight order, which effectively banned Constitutional rights for any person even suspected of being affiliated with a gang.

Mostly non-existent. Besides retired officers who had a high rank, civilians have never been allowed to own firearms, and needless to say, organized crime is very hard to pull off when the highest weapon technology you can possibly obtain is a crossbow. Any gangs that have been able to get a hold of firearms have been stomped into submission by the Tinellian Army.
