Size/Location/Description: Fenwick's approximate land mass is 1,482,970 square kilometers in area, including island chains. This measure includes both land and water areas controlled by the Provinces such as lakes and seas.
Fenwick is located to the southwest of Terraus and the northwest of Demoness (labeled Amoratae on the linked map).

Climate of the area is temperate; mild, wet winters; hot, dry summers.
The local terrain consists mostly mountains with ranges extending into the sea as peninsulas or chains of islands.
Natural resources that Fenwick readily exports are lignite, petroleum, iron ore, bauxite, lead, zinc, nickel, magnesite, marble, salt, and hydropower.
Arable land is approximately 21.1% of the territory, while permanent crops only cover 8.78%. There is an estimated 130,204.766 sq km of irrigated land.
Natural hazards are severe earthquakes, hurricanes, and coastal flooding.

National Flag:
The centerpiece of the flag is based upon the burial tradition of the warriors from the original capitol of Aedmon.
When a warrior was burned on the pyre, his shield and sword were laid upon his chest to be burned with him. The blue sunburst was the most commonly used shield art on the circle shields for the Aedmoni.
The two stripes at the edges of the flag represent the two incarnations of the country itself: once as the Aedmoni Empire, and then as the Unified Provinces.
National Currency: The Atom, a basic coin system that has been the basis of trade in Fenwick for the better half of a millennia. Minor changes in the coin structure, such as the face appearing on various denominations and the introduction of paper currency has occurred, but the name has persevered in spite of the shared scientific term.
National Animal: The Spotted Dolphin
National Flower: The Yellow Lotus, Nelumbo lutea
National Language: The native language of the Fenwicki has given way to Lodoss Trade Standard in the most recent century. While it is still spoken, Fenwicki is rarely heard outside of learning institutions or chatter between aging citizens.
Nation's Capitol: New Avalon, formerly Aedmon.
The city of New Avalon lies at the northern end of the central Arconian plain, on the right bank of the river Etasmir. The site was strategically located; guarded from three sides by the Zurim mountains and controlling the routes by which invading armies could penetrate the area via the Lyssian Pass.
The city is a center for trade, given it's access to the river itself. Many of the metal resources as well as marble are mined in the nearby area, which helped the city grow in size and power.
