Allow me, if I may to justify my size, which I understand is quite a lot to ask for from a newbie like me. Anea is a relatively young country having only existed fro about 55 years. Before then the 13 tribes were all separate nations. All we had in common is our language and religion which is pagan in nature. Never before has there been a unified Anean state. This came about because of a large scale invasion and war, which in Anea is known as the War of Unification. It is more or less our equivalent of the Great Patriotic War in Russia. Thirty Million died as a result. This is why we're very isolationist. We are constantly worried of being invaded again. Also, several tribes are climate centric. Gemmas, for instance is largely a desert and many inhabitants live in underground villages and towns much like that opal mining region in Australia. Another tribe Tundras is highly mountainous and cold. Climates along with separate histories has created distinct tribal cultures and identities that the Federal Government must now juggle with a central Anean identity.

So, you're saying you should have a large pop and a custom plot because of the lack of military power, unity and isolation of your nation?

We are somewhat unified now, in a few more generations we believe an Anean identity will be on part with that of an American one. Right now, we're kinda like America after the civil war. More and more people are coming to see themselves as Anean first and members of a particular tribe second. Some still allow old rivalries to cloud their judgements however. But we do view ourselves to have a capable military. We are masters of armored warfare. And our navy is acceptable. And for.much of our history we have been isolated, yes. But I need enough land to justify having 13 separate nations in existence for much of history and never being fully conquered by any of the 13 or by any outside force, if that makes sense. It wouldn't make sense if this all took place on a relatively small plot of land. And a small landmass would discount much of Anea's diversity of climates and regions. An area the size of the Western US would suffice as it can hold a variety of climates and regions as well as many different countries. Sorry for my constant rants.

Patridam has been historically isolationist and has been in very large (West Pacific) or fairly inactive regions (New Republica), preventing a lot of RP'ing. I am perhaps more interested in domestic world building, but I would like to give military RP's a chance.

My big concern here is that nearly every (if not all)) of the RPing samples you linked here were not necessarily RP samples, rather, they were just snip-its of you providing information about your nation in an OOC manner, which does not really highlight your abilities to create an in-character story. So, in this case, you will have to answer to a prompt that I will provide in an in-character manner, and I will evaluate it to make a decision on whether to accept you or not. There will be a diplomatic and a military prompt, so choose the one you want.

Here is the diplomatic prompt:

Your leader has received a missive from Stantopia, stating that Stantopia is interested in an alliance with Patridam. However, Stantopia is a known warmongerer and terrorist sponsor, whereas Patridam is a peaceful, neutral state. RP what your leader thinks and does in reply to this missive.

Bobtopia has declared war on Patridam and has sent 5 groups of 10 men to invade Miniton one of your smaller border towns. You send 5 squadrons of 5 men to defend. Bobtopia has weaker technology, but is superior in numbers. RP your victory or defeat in your defence of Miniton.

Before I waste time making a full application, I'll just post a roleplay sample.

"Fuck!" the monarch cursed as she jabbed her eye with the mascara wand for the third time. Makeup certainly wasn't her strongest area of expertise, but it was somewhat expected if she was to attend the peace negotiations with those damn rebels later today. However, the rest of the government had a point; peace was better than war, and if they were willing to negotiate, it certainly wouldn't look good on the government if they weren't willing to negotiate. So, off to the peace signing she was to go. She finished applying a naturally colored pink lipstick when the building suddenly shook violently, sending her crashing off her chair.
"What the hell..?" she wondered out loud, slowly getting up. At this point, she heard gunshots cracking through the morning air. At that point, she shit her pants (figuratively), and quickly scrambled for a place to hide. Her final hiding spot was a small storage cabinet incorporated into the floor under her desk. Seconds after she pulled the floorboards over, she heard her doors being kicked down, as well as shouting in both English and Spanish. Figures it would be the Northern spaniards. She hears the door slam shut, as they begin throwing things around, tearing things apart.
"She's gotta fucking be here somewhere. Security was lax today, the only ones who were here were cowards anyway." She hears one of them say. She hears movement close to her, before a pause. She feels the chair on the floorboards being moved away, and panics, but has nowhere to go before the man pulls off the floorboards and drags her our by her hair.
"Found you, you fucking cow." The man yells, dragging her to the middle of the room, as she begs and pleads for the life. One of the men, most likely the leader, walks up to her, puts a pistol to her head and pulls the trigger, as everything goes silent.

Mostly its inactivity and boringness, but also a lack of atmosphere condusive to realistic RP'ing a worldbuilding. Its presumably a popular opinion given how the place has gone from 200 nations to 30 in a few months, and how you and URA (both some of the best countries in NR) have left/are leaving. If I'm going to actually get serious and spend time on my factbook etc. I want to at least have a place where I can lay down permanent roots.

Fair enough. As I've said regional circumstances as well as the general neutrality narrative of my nation have prevented me from amassing many examples.

Here is the diplomatic prompt:

President McClane was unsure of what to make of the missive when it arrived by carrier early Monday morning. The envelope - it had to be red, of course - stood out from the various mundane laws and budget paperwork strewn about his desk. He tore it open, read it, and then reread it, and leaned back and scratched his chin, musing some of the more salient lines of the letter's purple prose. "Such a defensive association would be of great mutual benefit to both parties involved if such a contingency become necessary upon aggravations, whether internal or external, and would only further our already strong ties as set forth by our shared participation in the Trans-Oceanic trade pact." and "We eagerly and earnestly await your reply."

Much weighed upon the president's mind. On one hand, Patridam was an especially neutral and, in more blunt terms, isolationist country, and had been that way since the annexation of the nearby island of San Esperito following a coup that threatened numerous Patridian citizens. His own party held the maintenance of such non-interventionism as one of its key tenets, one of the things setting it apart from the unabashedly jingoistic Nationalist Party and the Administration Party, which desired to intervene in most international human rights violations. The nation was part of the World Assembly and numerous trade pacts, but was uncertain about mutual defense pacts, let alone ones with a violent nation like Stantopia. On the other hand, Stantopia was a military powerhouse, one that could quash any of the various nations that had ever threatened Patridam, or for that matter quash Patridam itself; not to mention the massive export market in Stantopia that had of late become a major source of revenue for Patridam's automobile and civilian firearm exports. This was not a decision to be taken lightly; so he decided to bring in his private council of elite advisers to weigh in.

"What in the Sam Hill are we waiting for on this!" shouted Nelson Ripper III., the current Minister of the Military as his cigar dropped from his mouth and his numerous medals clanked together. "Stantopia is the biggest army strongman this side of Liliput! Next time Marche Noire gets antsy and threatens our interests, or when those nasty Brobdignagian pirates board our ships, we'll sick Stantopia on them like a trained gorilla!"
"I concur," said Minister of Finance, Marcus Etzberger, pushing his horn-rim glasses up his nose. "It is unlikely any nation without a serious death wish would ever attempt an attack against Stantopia, so our end of the bargain would be left unexcercised, so we could cut our military budget without much ill effect. I also needn't remind you that, should we flat out deny their request, they might very well put a tariff or even an embargo on our imports, at serious detriment to our industries. Stantopia is unfortunately vindictive like that."
"That's exactly the problem with this pact," said Minister of Diplomacy, Marguerite McMillan. "You two haven't paid much attention to Stantopia's actions, have you? They are more than vindictive, the dictionary may as well show a picture of their flag next to the definiton of 'belligerent'. So yeah, nobody would invade them, but they will undoubtedly invade someone else; why, they declared war on Dandeeria last year without even giving a reason! They just felt like it! If Patridam forms this defensive pacts, we'll not only lose out legitimacy as a neutral nation on the world's stage, we'll get our asses dragged into one expensive foreign war after another."
"Um, if I might chime in?" quietly asked the slouching Minister of the Interior, Fiona Shore.
"WHAT?" shouted General Ripper.
"Eep," squeaked Fiona slouching even further in her seat but clearing her throat. "Umm, most of the voters, you see, they like the way things are now. If we say yes the next election will be kind of... bad."
"Well, thanks everyone," said President McClane, as succint as ever. "I think I know what I'm going to do."

A few days later, the military commandant of Stantopia received the following letter, delivered in a cream envelope and penned in flowing script beneath official Office of the President of Patridam letterhead.

To whom it may concern,

I regret to inform you that the Confederate Provinces of Patridam must decline your generous offer of mutual defense with the great nation of Stantopia, at least in any official context. Patridam has a historical legacy of neutrality, and a failure to uphold such a legacy would be tantamount to political suicide, both for myself and my party within our borders, but for the reputation of our nation on the world's scale. I hope you can understand the situation we are placed within here; our declination should be no reflection upon the opinion those in our government, or indeed our citizens, hold with regards to Stantopia. In fact, it is much the opposite: we are in great admiration of your proud heroic traditions.

While I cannot in any official capacity announce a military partnership between our two countries, as a gesture of good faith and an extension of the mutual history of partnership between our two great nations, we have ensured that any previously present detriments to the transportation of any requisite military supplies - whether armaments as supplied by our companies Holt, Simpson, or Illium; or military grade vehicles as supplied by our automobile companies - have been lifted in their entirety. Supplying your nation in its noble crusades is the least we can do to sustain our amicable relationship.

The measure to lift restrictions on exports to Stantopia passed through parliament without so much as a second glance, and although no official correspondence came from Stantopia reply to the president's letter, Patridian-sourced weapons and vehicles have had a heretofore inexplicable uptick in presence upon the fronts of Stantopia's many minor wars.

Looking at it now its probably longer than necessary for your purposes; sorry about that.
