Recently the Empress Historia von Andresova was ousted in a Coup d'etat by Chancellor Wilhelm von Farbanti and his Fascist Group that has taken a very hostile position on the worlds stage and has implemented several poor Civil and Human rights Policies. Flardania will be joining fellow WC Member Muzztopia in reinstating the previous government.

Satsuki answered reporters questions by saying. "We hate war as much as the next nation but we can't let a government that was involved in not just the WC but the LOAL as well be cast aside violently and without provocation. Hopefully our presence will help overwhelm the enemy and bring a quick end to the conflict. We are not at war with our Ally Aravea but with the Fascist group that has taken control of the Nation." The timing of this war is at relatively difficult time as the Anime Reality Republic as just returned from a Conflict in Bethuania between Aracadonisia and a terror group known as Martinezist Falange. Into what was almost a World War as Flardania and her Allies nearly went toe to toe with the entire Axis Treaty!! When asked why she did not call on the Western Coalition for aide, she commented; "If war began then I would have called the WC for aide. But seeing how we where not directly threatened and the intensity of conditions. I felt that the WC getting involved would have either deescalate the fighting or be the spark the ignited a world war. Pitting the WC against the Axis Treaty, Splitting the LOAL and putting us against our allies The Imperial Anime Commonwealth of The Polarian Empire. I was not one to take that risk." Coalition Seizes Ratou

RATOU, PANTAIRA - Operation Fairway has so far been going as planned by the 'Coalition' officials, an organization of nations formed to combat the Lossessian invasion of Pantaira that happened earlier this month. While some other forces of the Coalition are closing in from the east coast of Pantaira, other forces from Austzelandi, Korongolese, and various other armies are continuing to gain ground in the west coast. Lossessian forces recently surrendered in Ratou after two days of intense urban combat, with an estimated 14 killed and 42 wounded for the NADF forces out of an estimated 2,000 strong force. Lossessian commanders from Ratou say that a total of 1879 LRAF soldiers were either killed or wounded in the battle, but officials refuse to release an entire number for their casualties; though they are expected to be high. Despite Operation Fairway being denounced by the Austzelandi Pacifist party as "another move to become a jingoistic state", a poll indicated that 87% of all who voted supported Austzelandi intervention in Pantaira, while the rest thought a diplomatic solution could have been gained.

According to some survivors of what is now called the Battle of Ratou, the situation in Pantaira is similiar to the Falklands War of 1982; when Argentina invaded the British island near the bottom of South America. The fact that the LRAF forces in Ratou surrendered is being debated though, as it is a tradition to never accept defeat in Lossessian forces. Doing so could even make the perpetrator wind up in one of the notorious military prisoner camps in Lossesin, where people who are declared as 'traitors' by the government and even some POWs are held in concentration camp like conditions. Although some parts are nearly in rubble and debris, Austzelandi soldiers have attempted to keep collateral damage to a minimum. Some reports even say that local militias have been fighting against both Coalition and Lossessian forces in some small towns, some even fighting for either one of the sides. Despite most civilian casualties being caused by Lossessian forces, some accidental incidents have indeed happened; however it was inevitable from the start.

North Israeli Troops Continue to Annex Southern Lebanon

Sidon, North Israel - Operation White Quartz has so far been met with resistance from the terrorist group known as Hezbollah, a terrorist organization who had been harassing the Jewish nation of Israel for decades. Now the North Israeli army has brought the fight straight to the terrorists homes by annexing half of the Christian nation of Lebanon. The majority of the north part of the nation is Christian and the majority of the southern half is muslim. The leader of the Christian Republic of Lebanon, Bashir Gemayal gave President Yesser permission to purge the nation of a rogue general who tried to over throw the christian government in a coup. Now that General Al Asiri is dead, the NIDF has annexed the southern half of Lebanon and it is also home to the Hezbollah terrorist group. Over the past month their has been many injuries and deaths amongst the NIDF patrolling the streets of the new North Israeli province of South Lebanon. However their has been many deaths and arrests of radical Islamic insurgents in the cities of Tyre and Sidon. These two cities are know for the insurgents presence although many of the residents don't support Hezbollahs insurgency campaign. Many citizens including muslims except the NIDFs presence and would rather have them protect their cities compared to the Hezbollah. Needless to say, the NIDF is here stay in South Lebanon and will continue calling it part of North Israel.

Gibberan to assist Zeinbrad in Wolffian conflict

Virgin Bay, GN - The King announced today that he had ordered Gibberish naval and ground forces (including carrierborne aircraft) to use military force in order to repel the Imperial Wolffian invasion of Zeinbrad. He said this country took the action as ' a member of the Western Coalition doing it's duty to world freedom'. While this was an action independent of the Western Coalition, in a move to assure the country's security, the Chief Executive ordered Vice Admiral Lincoln Weselton to form a naval protective cordon around Zeinbrad until troops of the Gibberish III Corps and the 7th Armor Brigade are able to arrive on Zeinbradian soil.

Along with these fateful decisions, Mr. Truman also ordered an increase of our forces based in the Camilain Territories, as well as a large increase in defense funding, to levels not seen since the Bolish Liberation Wars.

However, despite the vast numbers of troops being poured into this effort, no official declaration of war was declared, leading some to fear that this was contrary to international law. The Defence & Foreign Affairs Commitee has dismissed all claims of a total declaration of war against Wolffia, and claims that this action would be an invitation for military intervention from Wolffian allies.

"We are not declaring war on anybody," said Foreign Minister Banks, a main supporter of Dyke's descision, "this is merely a 'police action', as some like to call the term. The Wolffians have refused to negotiate, and has fired the first bullet on their neighbors, ruthlessly invading anything in their path. As such, it is the duty of Gibberan to stop their aggressions to grow to a larger scale. We see no reason why we shouldn't act."

The units of the force, tentatively named the 'Zeinbradian Expeditionary Corps' (ZEC), will land on Zeinbradian-controlled territory, and then proceed to the frontline, where they will begin their aid to the defenders. "Parliament called upon all members of the Armed Forces to render every assistance to Zeinbradian and allied efforts in the execution of peace," the King stated. "In these circumstances I have ordered land and sea forces to give the Korean Government troops cover and support. Gibberan loves peace, and it is our duty to preserve peace in others so they can escpae the chains of oppression, which have been, in this case, secured by Imperial Wolffia."

Haifa, North Israel - 3 days ago a terrorist who was sponsored and affiliated with ISIS manually detonated his van in the capital city of Haifa.SO far their has been 17 dead and another 36 injured in the bombing. President Yesser is going to address the nation later on today. Northern and eastern North Israel has been plagued with terrorist attacks in the last couple months by the hezzbollah, however North Israel has never had any confirmed fighting with ISIS until now. Police and soldiers have blocked off the street where the bombing took place while government investigators and special forces assess the bombing, also fire fighters and paramedics are assisting the injured. Joshua Graham, minister of foreign affairs has said quote "We are currently in the process of notifying foreign embassys in Haifa about the bombing, also we've confirmed that no foreigners were harmed in the explosion". North Israel Border Agency (NIBA) has agreed to make it more difficult for potential terrorists to enter the country, even if they must do racial profiling. The terrorist has been identified as Ibrahim Al Zahad who was hired by ISIS through an online video chatting site to bomb the capital city, government investigators have found the recording. Government officials believe it is either because of North Israels occupation of southern Lebanon or because of our allies involvement in Syria.

ZAKKOB, PANTAIRA - The government of the Lossesin formally surrendered today as the Coalition forces successfully attacked the capital of Pantaira, Zakkob. The victory was announced at around 11:00 PM CET. President Oltis Javak said the following statement earlier.

"Good evening my fellow citizens, soldiers, and nations that fought with us recently. Tonight, I can report that we have become victorious in the recent Pantaira War against the Lossessian armies. It was thirty-five days ago that Lossesin invaded the innocent nation of Pantaira for the sake of expanding their territory, which resulted in the death of thousands upon thousands of men, women and children and the destruction of numerous cities. Later that month, nations of the world came together to assist us in taking back Pantaira. We offered the Pantairan people a hand, and we offered the wounded and ill our blood. We reaffirmed that Lossessian aggression would not be tolerated anymore both domestically, and internationally. No matter where our countries were located, what religion they practiced, or what their ethnicity was, we united as one iron fist and pushed the aggressors out of where they are not tolerated to be. For the last month, thanks to the tireless and heroic work of our military, peace has once more been restored to a nation in need of dire assistance, and we have proved to the Pantairan people that a brighter future is just around the corner."

The Lossessian government has been attempting to deny any involvement in the conflict, and has been covering up any evidence of their involvement. Lossesin has made no official statement as of right now, and the Austzelandi government is demanding an in-depth explanation from the Lossessian government as to why they invaded. The Lossessian government has still not given an explanation for why they attempted to invade New Austzeland in February 2014.

GIBBER, GN - The stakes of the so-called 'Changlang-crisis', named after the Namorese ferry detained by the RON government on Peitoa because of 'spying', are raising drastically every day it is not resolved. Gibberan has helped raised the stakes further after King Marcus, following a heated meeting with the High Council and Prime Minister Stanforth, announced that the Gibberish government had, effective immediately, stopped all Gibberish trade to the RON.

The Brody administration's more aggressive move—targeting a high-profile Peitoan bank as well as many important officials high up in Jung Fa's government—increased the likelihood the situation could spiral out of control, and soon. It also marked a notable reversal for Parliament, that until last month saw the RON as an 'important trading partner' (Gibberan has in the past continually disregarded the 'One Namor' policy until now, recognizing both the PRN and RON).

Officials in Gibber have not commented on whether the Peitoan issue will be added to the agenda of the upcoming Hartly talks. But although the deepening standoff has redefined a key segment of the King's foreign policy, it hasn't ended it, says the Prime Minister. "International relations with the RON have not ceased; rather, they have merely begun a new chapter in Esquarian history."

In related news, Sir Donovan Parker, the former Minister of Finance under King Randolph Agarn's administration, will add the voice of Gibberan to the fight against hunger and malnutrition by attending the Esquarian Summit scheduled to take place in Hartly, Ainin. The Peitoa issue, while not confirmed, is expected to be talked about there. President Harrison Reaffirms International Commitments

FAIRMOUNT SPRINGS, NK - “The government of this nation and its people have no interest in abandoning the international community. The members of the Western Coalition and the International Freedom Alliance are our closest allies, and the importance of our relationship with them cannot be understated. Where they go, we go. Where they stand, we stand.” Richard Harrison, the President of the United Provinces of New Korongo, said at a press conference this morning in an attempt to alleviate fears that the Korongolese government had adopted an isolationist policy in secret. These fears arose after several important events concerning the Western Coalition (WC) and International Freedom Alliance (IFA) occurred without any response whatsoever from the Korongolese government. something which reminded many Korongolese citizens of the late Jonathan Shipman’s administration. Reactions to the press conference in New Korongo are mixed by recent polls suggests that Harrison is broadly supported by the Korongolese people.

Harrison spoke for more than an hour explaining that his government would continue to remain a prominent player in international affairs. Then the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jessica Moore, took over the conference and spoke for a further three hours as she presented the government’s plan for the future of Korongolese foreign policy to the public. The plan involves the adoption of more effective crisis handling measures, with an increased focus on diplomacy before intervention, and reiterates early results of the National Defence Review which call for increased military flexibility. Professor John Archibald of the University of Fairmount Springs, a prominent political analyst, described the policy as “unsurprising” and claimed that it was nothing more than a slightly modified version of the foreign policy which Harrison and the National Royalist Coalition Party (NRCP) had promised during the elections. He also went on to state that continued relations with the WC and IFA are “necessary if New Korongo wished to retain a strong economy and remain an important member of the international community”. These statements have been repeated across the country by supporters of Harrison and the NCRP.

Margaret O’Donnell, the leader of the New Future Party, spoke on public television at noon and described her opposition to Harrison reaffirming of international commitments. “This man and his supporters are once again attempting to undermine the democratic process. They are attempting to hide the fact that their government practically disappeared from international affairs for almost a month. Their actions are an insult to our nation.”

War Criminals Finally Put To Death

VOUNOMETHEA, TS - "Today is a historic day" Speaker of the Council of Five Hundred stated today in a press release. "We can finally bury those responsible for the unmentionable war crimes that had gone on throughout the aftermath of the August 21st Coup, and begin the emotional reconstruction that never accompanied the industrial one after the conflict." Today, fifteen people - including the infamous Skawm Kalibilas, former leader of the now-defunct Transoxthraxian Communist Party, were put to death in the traditional Transoxthraxian execution fashion.

Intikas, the age-old tradition of slow execution via the cutting of one's belly with a Falcata, or curved sword, after being tied up in a public place for all to see, had been banned in the nation since 1945, the signing of the London Concordat, and the formal surrender of Transoxthraxia to the Allied Powers, which redefined the Transoxthraxian Constitution. However, nearly eighty years later, the Council of Five Hundred have deemed it fit to violate the London Concordat on very special occasions, holding a referendum to the populace that passed with a 77.9% Approval rate just over a week ago. The resolution to put to death these fifteen war criminals was passed unanimously.

Having been held for six months, after the formal surrender of both Montemilnas and Kalibilas at the Treaty of Iagyas, much of the international community, including many member states of the Western Coalition, have been demanding to know who these fifteen condemned were. While files on Montemilnas, the leader of the Loyalists to the Old Regime, will remain private, the Council of the Ancients have made public, to all nations, the records of Kalibilas, and his so-called "attack dogs", as were described by Iohn Skirivilnas, a former general in the employ of the New Government. Kalibilas himself was a noted Atheist Supremacist, believing that those who practiced a religion were inferior to those who didn't, and deserved to be put to death. During his time as the leader of a communist militant faction vying for the control of Transoxthraxia, it was estimated that he caused the death of 54,000 people, including over 2,300 clergymen, both of Ancirraic and Solidaritanist faiths.

What's more, is that he refused to take prisoners. One of his former soldiers, a member of his Honour Guard, who opted to remain anonymous, stated, "Whenever we had defeated the Monarchists or the Loyalists, Kalibilas himself would inspect those who we captured. If they spoke, moved, or met his gaze while he inspected them, he killed them on the spot. Or asked us to kill them. Those that didn't, were sent to 'the pits'. When asked about the pits, he simply shook his head.

To this day, only three pits have been found, though Kalibilas' records state there were ten. They were large dugouts that could hold hundreds at a time, and prisoners and "enemies of the state" were pushed into them. Around them stood four wooden towers, one at each corner, which contained a sentry. Upon order, the sentries would shoot into the dugouts, killing everyone inside. The bodies were then torched. In his journal, Kalibilas refers to this torching as the "Purge of the innocents".

Today, Kalibilas, along with ten of his former commanders, informants, or cooperators, were put to death along with four others, who had served the Loyalist Regime. In public view, the fifteen of them had Intikas performed on them. The execution was shown on the TNN, or Transoxthraxian News Network. It took satisfying hours to watch the terrorists die, the filming not once stopping. Once dead, their bodies were burned, disallowing them, in Transoxthraxian tradition, from entering the afterlife.

While many state that this execution was necessary, critics claim that it was superflous, and a simple hanging would have sufficed. Furthermore, the performance of Intikas upon the prisoners has brought a large international backlash against the government for its so-called cruelty. Speaker of the Council Suras Durgaus responded with, "If we were the ones that had been caught by him, he would have reserved an even worse, more unthinkable punishment for us. This is only just, for the man who had caused so much damage."

GIBBER, GN - Mounting pressure for a strike on Peitoa has seen naval forces build up off the tiny island nation's coastline. What worries the Gibberish populace the most, however, is that 3 of those ships are His Majesty's Navy's Quick-response Task Force 3.

The potential of a Gibberish strike against the Republic of Namor, in response to the Changlang crisis and the subsequent attack on two Aininian destroyers in the area, has gained substantial steam. Yesterday, defense officials told Western Coalition Associated News Service that the Navy had sent a group of three warships armed with cruise missiles into the East Namor Sea. Hours later, Deputy Defence Minister Arnold Bevedair, who was unable to comment on individual rumors, confirmed that the Royal Navy currently had a "relatively strong group" there. Defence Minister Charles Nickel, while he confirmed that it was Quick-Response Task Force 3, he declined to discuss any specific force movements while saying that the King had asked the ministry to prepare military options. He also added that the task force didn't have, as of 11:00 PM yesterday, any immediate orders for a missile launch into Peitoa.

The government claims this is merely 'an action to protect Gibberish and allied interests in the region'. The official reason given by the Ministry of Defence on the matter is that the task force is there to protect the shipping lanes in the area. Despite this, many officials have pointed out that the course of the ships is closer to Peitoa than to the region's adjacent trade routes. "His Majesty's Navy does not intend to take part directly or indirectly in a possible regional conflict," Nickel told the WCANS reporters. “The Defence Ministry has a responsibility to provide the King and Parliament with options for contingencies, and that requires positioning our forces, positioning our assets, to be able to carry out different options - whatever options Parliament may choose,” The Royal House said the King would meet today with the National Security Comittee and the High Council to consider possible next steps by the country; Sea Marshal Erin Crawford, the Chief-of-Staff of His Majesty's Navy, is purported to be in attendance as well. Officials say once the facts are clear, the government will make a decision about how to proceed. A resolution backing the use of force against Jung Fa's government is currently under debate in the Parliament Foreign Relations Committee.

Quick-Response Task Force 3, which served in the Blockade of Gibber during the Equalist Revolts, is made up of two Donahue-class guided missile destroyers, RGNV Aquatica and Trumpeteer, along with the 1960s-era Andreus I-class light aircraft carrier RGNV Jonathan Holloway, which its top admiral says is “fully ready” for a wide range of possible actions. The Aquatica and Trumpeteer are each armed with dozens of Loyalist cruise missiles, which have a range of approximately 950 nautical miles (almost 1,100 miles) and are used for precise targeting. The ships are also equipped with surface-to-air missiles capable of defending the vessels from air attacks. The Jonathan Holloway has several helicopters and a carrier air wing on board, along with hundreds of the Army's Maritime Infantry.

As Minister Nickel said, "Our navy vessels are a guarantee of stability, guarantee of peace, and are not to participate in military action unless sufficiently provoked. This is not suggesting military intervention, this is only a method to protect our interests in the region and should be seen as such."

FAIRMOUNT SPRINGS, NK - An important group of New Korongo’s top government officials departed Fairmount Springs International Airport earlier today aboard an Airbus A380 passenger aircraft of the United Provinces Aviation Forces. The group, which includes President Richard Harrison and Minister of Defence James Strickland, is flying to the city of Musrum in Bratislav to take part in the third International Freedom Alliance (IFA) summit. Topics being discussed at the summit range from restructuring the IFA Rapid Reaction Force to reforming the admission requirements of the organisation. However, the most important topic would appear to be the future of relations between the IFA and other international organisations. While there is little opposition to a formal alliance between the Western Coalition and the International Freedom Alliance, there has been significant controversy over recent proposals to form ties between the IFA and more questionable alliances. “The summit is an extremely important event, this is a fact that cannot be denied. This one in particular is, perhaps, even more important than its two predecessors. Over the past few days the government of the United Provinces has become increasingly concerned with recent developments within the International Freedom Alliance, and this is our opportunity to address these concerns.” President Harrison said at a press conference held several hours before he departed the capital. The ‘concerns’ which he mentions are most definitely related to the recent controversy.

Response to the government’s decision to send a delegation to the third IFA summit has been mixed. Many Korongolese citizens, including supporters of the National Royalist Coalition Party, have praised the decision claiming that is important for the United Provinces to have its opinion heard. Those aligned with the New Future Party have unsurprisingly condemned the decision in a continuation of their recent efforts to oppose any Korongolese involvement in international affairs. Recent polls seem to indicate that the Korongolese population is generally supportive, though at least one prominent political expert has claimed that the outcome of the summit will have more of a bearing on public opinion. “The decision to send a delegation to the International Freedom Alliance is not a definitive event, the government has not formed an official position on anything of significance. It will be the outcome of the conference, and where the government stands in relation to the important topics being discussed, that will lead to widespread condemnation or commendation.” Professor John Archibald of the University of Fairmount Springs said to a WCANS reporter earlier today.

GIBBER, GN — Gibberan today formally declared war on New Zepuha. Parliament, with only four dissenting votes, approved the resolution in the record time of 33 minutes after King Marcus denounced Zephuan aggression in ringing tones. The King's brief and decisive words were addressed to the assembled representatives of Parliament, the High Council and the Court. It was also broadcasted both on radio and on television for the Gibberish people to hear.

"Gibberan was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval forces of the New Zepuha," he said. "This proves how hypocritical the Zephuans are. This is blatant warmongering, and nothing else; the government of Minister Auschlogen didn't even try to continue negotiations, they fired upon our ships not caring if their operatives were rescued or not. I was for a little while unable to believe that such things would in fact be done by any government that had hitherto subscribed to the humane practices of civilized nations. International law had its origin in the at tempt to set up some law which would be respected and observed upon the seas, where no nation had right of dominion. despite this, the Zephuan Government has swept aside international law and has commited this crime, for which it no justified provocation. The detaining of the prisoners and the subsequent was not because of the Trang Vai incident, as they claim; while it is considered part of the Changlang crisis, it's direct roots were not from there, rather it was aggression, jingoism, overall militantism towards Gibberan and the other free nations of Esquarium which caused this unforgettable incident.

"It is a war against all nations. Gibberish ships have been sunk, Gibberish lives taken, in ways which it has stirred us very deeply to learn of, but these aggressors will not stop there. We call for the nations of Esquarium, and of the world, to combat this menace who has threatened and killed so many without batting an eye. Each nation must decide for itself how it will meet this threat, but the facts of yesterday speak for themselves. The people of Gibberan have already formed their opinions and well understand the implications to the very life and safety of our nation, and will fight to the death to defend it. By the powers granted to me as the leader of the royal Army, Navy and Aerial Corps, I have directed that all measures be immediately taken for our defense. No matter how long it may take us to overcome this premeditated invasion, we will succeed. Therefore, I ask that the Parliament declare that since the unprovoked and dastardly attack by New Zepuha on Saturday, June 14, a state of war has existed between the United Republic of Gibberan and the government of New Zepuha.."

Thunderous cheers greeted the King throughout the address. Even after the speech, they continued. "This form of treachery shall never endanger us again," he declared amid cheers. "We, in our righteous might, and not by treachery and deceit like the Zephuans, will win this struggle, all the way through to absolute victory if necessary. ."

The King also informed the populace via radio and television broadcast that the attack wasn't nearly as devastating as proclaimed by the New Zephuan propaganda machine, "Fortunately, the majority of our brave seamen were able to escape aboard lifeboats, where they were picked up by a ship. The Zephuans think we've been crushed, they don't know the fury we are about to release on them."

An hour later, after a short debate, the bill was passed. As of 6:32 PM June 15, Gibberan is officially at war with New Zepuha.

VOUNOMETHEA, TS - Despite the defeat of much of the radical leftist Transoxthraxian politics within Transoxthraxia's military wings during the August Conflict, much of the far right is now making an appearance on the scene. Today, more than 3,000 people picketed the Council of the Ancients in downtown Vounomethea. The reason was the fact that the military spending had been recently passed to be cut back to an extent that would have damaged the effectiveness of the armed forces, which was necessary, prompted by the recent downturn in the local Transoxthraxian economy.

Despite this, however, thousands of people showed for an organized and generally non-violent protest within the city center. While aiming to be non-violent, chaos soon broke out amongst the ranks of the police, who, due to the Transoxthraxian by-laws that prevent more than a thousand people gathering at once, were forced to attempt to disperse the crowds. When they wouldn't, they were forced to fire upon them. This caused a rebuke amongst the protestors, many of whom cried "democratic dictatorship!" and "death to the Ancients!". Soon the protest escalated into a full-scale riot, with one hundred and fifty two dead, and eighty seven more wounded, most of them protestors.

Prior to this, the Council of Ancients had been enjoying one of the most politically secure times in Transoxthraxian history. Now, with a large amount of civilian blood on their hands, the government is conflicted on what to do, according to their spokesperson, Daniyel Martupas. "On one hand, these are our own people, our government structure is meant to protect them. In fact, it is made to protect them." He said, in a recent interview. But on the other hand, if they begin to break the law, they are endangering themselves by breaching the contract of protection that they had with us, and are no longer viewed as our citizens.".

Only hours after this interview, the Speaker of the Council of the Ancients gave a speech that put official ruling on the subject. His opinion was extremely reactionary and hostile towards the far-right protestors, many of whom were members of the Transoxthraxian Unity Movement, often abbreviated to TUM. The TUM seems to have connections with the TUF - Transoxthraxian Unity Front - a guerrilla militia that operates in Northern Transoxthraxia and puts a large emphasis on social reactionism and Transoxthraxian nationalism.

"Cry havoc, and let slip the dogs of war.", the Speaker said today, a reference to William Shakespeare's Julius Caesar. "We shall not stand idly as the far-right elements of our nation terrorize the fine people that we were meant to protect. In order to ensure the safety of the people as a whole, we must seek out and eliminate these threats.". This stance was quite shocking to much of the populace, who had come to view the far right as not nearly as bad as the alternative, the far left. However, this technique worked with hunting down former far left war criminals and members of the KTRP, the communist Transoxthraxian terrorist organization active internationally.

The Council of Ancients has proclaimed martial law within Vounomethea, and has called in the Army, which, as of 7:53 P.M this evening, has begun to occupy the city. A curfew has been instituted, and anyone outside of their homes past 11:00 P.M will be detained. It is unclear how long this martial law will last. While this tactic of brutality and intimidation may work in the short run, it is not buying the formerly popular regime any friends.
