About Eranshahir: Eranshahir is a large empire located on the planet Earth. Eranshahir's main province is the province of Persia, or Iran, which is the origins of the Empire. Eranshahir has a long history, and has managed to withstand Roman, Byzantine, Arab, Mongol, and Ottoman Invasions. Historically secluded, Eranshahir began a process of westernization in the early 20th century, and has continued this practice to this day. Today the nation stands for civil rights, and prides itself on its Zoroastrian heritage.
Eranshahir is a parliamentary monarchy, ruled by Shahanshah Beraz Parizad of the house of Shirazi. The Shirazi family is descendent of Sasanian Dynasty, which continued to rule Persia until 1503 (OOC: historically ruled until 651), when the Madani cadet branch inherited the throne). In 921 AD the Abbasid Caliphaten annexed Mesopotamia, leading to the Arabization and Muslim-conversion in the areas of Iraq. In 1734 when the area was reintroduced to the Erani Empire, the area continued to be largely Arabic and Muslim, and is the largest concentration of Muslims in Eranshahir.
Rules
• Must have a friendly attitude towards Eranshahir, the Shahanshah, and Zoroastrianism.
• Embassies are considered territory of their country's government. On Embassy's we will respect the laws of said territory, but we ask that when embassy staff are in Eranshahir they respect our laws and customs.
• Alcohol is illegal in the Iraq-Province. Alcohol being brought to embassy's in Baghdad must be consumed and stored on embassy property, and is not permitted to leave embassy grounds. Alcohol is legal in other areas of the Empire.
• Ambassador's and their family are given partial diplomatic immunity. Ambassador's committing major crimes (murder, rape, theft, etc.) can be persecuted.
