Color me interested. While RPing one of the Mane Six 2.0 would be nice, I'd be fine with a supporting role (or, heck, even RPing a minor antagonist or two).

Well, I'm hardly active when it comes to most CoPS RPs, but I'd be interested in taking part in some way, whether its throwing Cadence into the mix, RPing some random character, or anything else really.

I'd love to have Cadence involved. I've really warmed up to her character over time.

Genocide is very different from just killing lots of people in war. It's not usually considered genocide unless it's targeted, deliberate, and done with the goal of eliminating a group of people. Simply killing people in a war is not genocide, unless the war is one of those 'CLEANSE THE UNCLEAN' style things.

Brief Bio: Lantern Light is a mare aged 28, and her mother was a soldier in the PRP revolution in 1991 that brought an end to the Shrill Empire. As she grew up, she was very interested in the stories of the Regal Sisters and the lessons which they and the Mane 6 taught, and upon coming of age, she went to a Celestian Seminary in the city of Drasbolea. She became the priest in the small town of Lone Maple six years ago, and her simple messages of friendship and harmony kept her from the hostility that many Shrills felt toward the church after the Dominion period. She attempted to lead a pilgrimage to Canterlot in recent years, but few of her friends and parishioners could go with her. She still preaches at the church every week.

Brief Bio: (Again, open to change with objections) Born in Snowpoint City to a bureaucrat in the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources and a celebrated stage actor, Embers showed a natural aptitude for storytelling at a young age, getting her cutie mark, a red quill on a fireplace, two years earlier than average. She originally believed that she was to become an author of popular fiction, but fell into a deep depression after not even making it to the top five in several short story contests, leading her to doubt her competency as a storyteller. She recovered after a high school history teacher inspired her to create alternate histories "in order to understand the interconnected causes of everything", and subsequently won second prize in a short story contest, utilizing the skills she picked up in telling alternate histories. She went to the State University of Port-au-Prance where she pursued a double major in Equestrian and history, and later obtained her doctorate in history. She took a job as a copy editor for the Hoofer Bay Sun after graduating, writing alternate history novels on the side. After only lukewarm sales of her first book and dismissal from the copy editor position after overlooking one too many errors, she found an adjunct position teaching Equestrian history at a college in Snowpoint City. She came to Frenequesta at the urging of several of her friends and quickly was hired by the University of Neue Bayreuth to teach Equestrian history and culture. She continues to write alternate histories, and her latest novel, Harmony Maintained, made #3 on the fiction bestseller list in Frenequesta. She is currently at work writing a history on the Equestrian diaspora and just published a brief overview of the trends of Pony immigration to Frenequesta. Besides writing alternate histories, she likes to watch movies and cricket matches. As far as her personality goes, she has a high work ethic, and highly organized and systematic in completing her tasks. Yet she often complains that she feels "dizzy" inside, unsure how she ended up in any place at the end of a busy work day, as if self-awareness only occurs when she is unoccupied. Although a sociable pony, she has tried to minimize her status as a minor celebrity, influenced by being constantly accosted by strangers whenever she went out with her father, and has limited her number of public appearances as a writer.

Brief Bio:

A relatively low-level employee of the Office of Foreign Action and Information, a section of The Lunar Domain's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Htkit is a part of the few members of the Changeling species that have found their way into doing Ministerial work, apart from those who have joined the militaries of the Domain. Of course, while the species may have officially had their rights long decided in the Parliamentary Resolution 754 from 2856, he still deals with discrimination and suspicion in the workplace over his species.

In spite of this, Htkit has proven himself to be a smart, capable, and more importantly sociable person who, to those who do not immediately discriminate against him based soley on species, has at the very least garnered some inkling of respect. He has also, incidentally, garnered the reputation of an ungodly addiction to tea around the office, the particular type of his choice being the relatively rare Pu-erh tea found in the Haliflanks Republic.

Tea dependency aside, Htkit is being heavily considered for working on the potential search for Universe 02's Elements of Harmony due to his relatively sociable nature, which, his higher-ups believe, combined with his relative intelligence and wit will at the very least be able to form a cohesive part of a group.

In addition to this, Htkit is one of the recent, and few, converts to the Harmonist faith that has been introduced since March, believing the virtues of the faith could be used to not only improve the nation, but all realities as a whole.

This task itself is unique in that it could be argued, as Htkit might say, he is a diplomat that can actually do more than just sit around looking pretty. He will be tasked with doing actions that not only represent The Lunar Domain as a nation, but will most definitely have some form of consequence to others. While Htkit will likely be up to the task, he may very well find himself in situations he would not necessarily want to be in.

Brief Bio: Young, freshly graduated from Public Finances at the National Autonomous University of Arcane Sciences (NAUAS) at the age of 22, she currently works as a secretary for one of the most prominent law firms in the Montesardi nation. Pine Needle, while considered hard-working, has found her labour unpleasant. Pine Needle has found more interest in studying cultural activities, like guitar playing and writing.

If much could be said about Pine Needle, is that she is a hot-tempered, impulsive, but oddly shy mare who will run away from her problems. She tries to be passive and comprehensive, but she fails to do this with herself. Some say, its due to the hectic lifestyle that Trotskivnan ponies live daily, but she believes it's due to her not following her dreams.

Description or Picture: Will draw her soon. If at all, a clear grey coat and a mid green mane. Eyes are dark green.

If any of you guys are still interested in my planned retcon RP, good news. I have the essentials worked out.
(Should this work out) Two colonial empires are going to have a clash over control of Sinovet, but nothing major. A skirmish at most.

HOWEVER, said skirmish will allow an increasingly unhappy, tense and divided population of Sinovet the ideal excuse to revolt, turn on each other and stir up some serious anarchy.

Colonial Empires have to try and wrestle control from the other whilst keeping things from blowing up in their faces.



Now, all I really need to get this show on the road are volunteers for my colonial empires.
I need an Empire A, who will hold Sinovet at the start. Many technical and story details will depend on this player, so I can really do nothing until one is chosen and discussions done.

I also need an Empire B. Less important for details, because these can be more or less done IC-ly, as opposed to opening out, but it'd still be nice to have one before I set the thing in stone.

If I can have two Empires signed up and ready to go, I can work out the whole thing and open it up to any takers here in CoPS.

Brief Bio: Spurred Vision was born in Appleloosa roughly twenty four years ago. Her memories of her home town are mixed, enjoying the adventurous spirit that came with living in a town akin to that of the 'Wild West' of mid-to-late 1800s America, but desiring more intellectual pursuits than that of a farmer or rancher. Eventually, she left her home town and became a student, while working part-time, in Manehatten. Spurred Vision soon found her interests in biology, as her fillyhood trips to the Appleloosan outback with her family gave her some knowledge and a great fascination of creatures and plants. She came to Phisych University ten years ago to study at the prominent international school as a biologist, She fully moved in four years ago as the University offered many opportunities to a gifted mind like herself. While she struggled with Phisych University's cultural norms, and has even been the spokesmare of political movements to introduce change to modern Phisychian society, she managed to establish herself within Phisychian society as a somewhat gifted biologist and even more prominent field researcher of Phisych University. While she may not agree with all of the policies of her employers, the life of a Phisychian Field Researcher, delving into dangerous places and learning the secrets held within, has served her love of action and learning well and she couldn't imagine a job that suited her better.

Personality wise, Spurred Vision can be described as adventurous and smart, if impulsive and hot-headed at inconvenient times. It's a combination the Phisychian government has appreciated, as most Phisychian Field Researchers tend to be overly cautious, although it does put her neck on the line much more often than most Phisychian Field Researchers.
