Background.
The Spartacus League is a private security organization made up of recruits from the political left dedicated solely to party security and opposition to reactionary aggression against the party and the proletariat. Members used to have to provide their own weapons when the League was a militia, though the Spartacus League now provides standardized equipment, in addition to the standard training provided to all of its members since its creation.
Personnel
Currently, the Spartacus League has approximately nine thousand (9,000) members within its ranks divided up into squads of ten (10). They are usually found providing security at leftist rallies, leftist organizations and labour unions.
Equipment.
Standard gear used to differ greatly between members of the Spartacus League. Now though, the Spartacus League provides a standard uniform and set of equipment to all members. Currently, the Makarov pistol and Mosin-Nagants, which are secured and stored as the law requires, are the standard arms given to League members. However, since this is quite recent, there are still units reliant on their own arms. Non-standard weapons are still, included and, with the ban on assault weapons, some still are limited to pistols until efforts can be made to fill the gap made with the loss of the AKMs that units were being equipped with until the ban.
Use of re-purposed civilian vehicles is still common, though the League is making efforts to change this. Attempts to procure proper armoured vehicles, within the limits of what the law permits, are being made.
Training.
To make up for the lack of standard issue equipment, the Spartacus League has long provided an in-depth training program for its members. It still continues to the same standard since the transition of the League into a private security organization. This training program includes marksmanship, close-quarters combat and stealth. There is also an officer training program to train competent commanders for the security force.
Organization.
The Spartacus League is compromised of approximately nine thousand (9,000) individuals and are led by the First-Commander of the Spartacus League. This is broken down into battalions compromised of one thousand (1,000) individuals and are each led by a Battalion Commander. These battalions are further broken down into companies that are compromised of one hundred (100) individuals and are led by a Company Commander. Finally, these companies are broken down into ten (10) man squads that are led by Squad Commanders.
