This may be a silly question, but what are embassy service staff?

Also, would anyone mind indulging my laziness and posting the code for the diplomatic immunity table? :D:D

Service staff aren't diplomats or security, they do other stuff like answer phones, clean out toilets, whatever. I think.

Also, happy birthday:

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but how do I control the size of the contents box?
As you can see here, it's way too big. http://www.nationstates.net/nation=codw ... /id=406897
thanks!

I checked the source code on your page. It seems that you've placed the [floatleft] tag after the [box]. It's supposed to be before.

Compare:

Factbook:
Code: Select all
http://www.nationstates.net/nation=ponderosa/detail=factbook/id=97589

Source:
Code: Select all
http://www.nationstates.net/page=dispatch/id=97589/raw=1

Replace nation=ponderosa with page=dispatch, delete detail=factbook, and add /raw=1 at the end.

Just select it all and copy it before you try to post and then, if it fails, you can just paste it in and try again immediately. That method's saved me from losing more than a few posts in the past, too.

Indeed.

As a further suggestion, for those who enjoy making epic factbooks but have to stop for life half-way through, I suggest getting a blogger account. The drafts area for posts keeps formatting instead of deleting or interfering with it like a lot of document programs do. If you have any other sites or programs that do the same though, feel free to store things there too.

Speaking of which, just finished my first monster-sized wiki factook. It's hosted on a puppet, but this thing took ages and I am very happy with the results. (Yes, I will eventually be doing the other tribes) Thanks Ponderosa, you're our hero!

I think my factbook now is longer than the example :P
Has less images, though. And I could include some tables, I guess?
