AFAIK II Wiki's articles are HTML so no, this guide can't help. If you want a "guide" you should click the edit button on top of an article then you can see the source code and how it's done.

Actually your factbooks remain even after your nation disappears, for example: https://www.nationstates.net/page=dispatch/id=2274. As long as you can dig up the link to the dispatch version, anyone can still see it, but it's probably easier just to put up new ones.

Can anyone point me in the direction for the code to create wiki styled national military equipment page? I'm sure I've seen some knocking NS in the past and typically now that I want to create my own I can't find any!

Something akin the the tables on this page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Modern_equipment_of_the_British_Army Equipment name, number of units, picture, and brief description.

Just regarding a link here, the power classification - Afalia ceased to exist. What does this mean for the thread, the link and the rankings?

Aside from that, many thanks for the template. Half the BBCode that was used was BBCode I didn't know existed. This has made me experiment more with both NS and my own forum.

EDIT: Made some additions to my own factbook; it's still a WIP, but here it is.

EDIT 2: Smoya made a new power classification thread here. You may want to change the link.

It might look better if you made the longest line in the infobox ("Government: Within recognised state, democratic constitutional monarchic federal republic; within tribal borderlands, anarchy") shorter, so that the box isn't as wide.

Also, what's with the images in the infobox?

Most people just get it off of Google Images or some other source. Althistory Wiki has a hefty amount of orthographic maps. See them in the link below.

I myself edited the one for Mexico. I might clean up a few more and post them sometime.

I make mine using Paint.net (example) and the Shape 3D plugin.
