The Emirate of Emeraria is led by a right leaning government. Too much liberalism is considered unacceptable. The government puts the well being and intellingence of the citizens as its main priority, even over national defense. Emeraria is willing to help any allies and free nations alike. Freedom of thought is the most valuble possession of any citizen in Emeraria.

History

Emeraria was started from a large but disorganized nation of Emerarians who had founded the state as a haven from the New Spartanican ethnic cleansings of 1101-1120 BF (Before the Founding of Emeraria) Trade came quickly to the nation. It attracted many immigrants and soon it was a bustling community of 35,000,000. The first leader, Nafer Trasda, was declared emir and an emirate city-state was formed. The city-state numbered in the hundreds of thousands, and when it reached 50 million people, the borders expanded and the emirate became a sovereign nation. The nation was born into fire as it was attacked in a proxy war by its neighbor New Spartanicus, Nafer Trasda having been assasinated by Spartanican agents. The emirate, now a republic, was pitted against a powerful police state. The nation's second Emir (ironically named Spartanicus) now built up for a war of survival.

October 31,1126 FD (Founding Date of Emeraria)- Emeraria founded as a sovereign nation, New Spartanicus war starts
November, 1126 FD- Ally joins war on the side of Emeraria
June, 1127 FD- First Spartanian border towns fall
August, 1127 FD- First Spartanian city to fall
February 1128 FD- Emeraria discovers rocket power and space program starts
April, 1132 FD- Nuclear power discovered, First elections as a sovereign nation.
January, 1138 FD- Emerarian space program escalates with use of space age weapons.
April, 1138 FD- Emeraria becomes member of JSA. Now it is the only nation on Emir Prime with a foot on the interstellar stage.
March, 1138 FD- New Spartanicus falls, claimed as territory, government reformed.
May, 1140 FD- Emir Shipyards is opened.
September, 1145 FD- Emeraria enters Hyperborian War, first space age war.
October, 1145 FD- Commando raid on Hyperborian world fails, dubbed "Blind Screwup"
June, 1147 FD- Hyperborian war ends for Emeraria
July, 1151 FD- Matter Replicator project starts
June, 1158 FD- International Battle Tournament is started
December, 1162 FD- Project declared inconclusive and ended.
October, 1174 FD- Emerarian military updated to suit current needs.
May, 1188 FD- Emeraria enters Malaklan war
June, 1188 FD- Alpha 2 attacked.
January, 1189 FD- Alpha 2 falls.
April, 1189 FD- Ehan 12 attacked
May, 1189 FD- Battle for fortifications and space battles bring heavy losses ,but decisive victories.
August, 1189 FD- Ehan 12 falls, Malaklan war effort stopped, Malaklan war ends.
October, 1190 FD - The nation of Giblatia on Emir Prime is annexed by Emeraria but granted semi-autonomous self governance.
April, 1191 FD- Under Emir Rex Yurris, the massively powerful Nation of Emeraria signs the Unification Pact with all other nations of the planet of Emir Prime, officially unifying the planet under the Emerarian national banner. The United Era begins for the newly founded Systems Union of Emeraria (SUE).

SUE History
May 1191 FD - Emir Rex Yurris, with the support of the military, initiates the Yurris Declaration, stating that the Emir will no longer have to submit to popular election and that the four year term system is to be abolished. The unicameral Emerarian Senate must now answer to the Emir and the Emir himself is granted an extension of powers along with a life term in office that can only be revoked by a unanimous vote by the senate and the military's General Council. The old republic of Emeraria as it was known was now dead.
August 1194 FD - The JSA crumbles with the fall of Emeraria's ally Magna Omega to Vipran aggression. Emeraria distances itself from galactic affairs, building up its military and closing its borders.
January 1200 FD - Rex Yurris initiates the Union Strategy, an explosion of aggressive Emerarian expansionism that would have otherwise been condemned by the JSA. Emerarian territory groes vastly in the coming decades.
February 1221 FD - With the death of Rex Yurris, his pre-selected successor Trax Elbius taked the reins of power and continues expanding into the Orius System.
June 1221 FD - The SUE takes Ossia in the Pex System, an M class planet of 2 billion pre-industrial humans who are quickly indoctrinated into their new society.
June 1223 FD - Two years of SUE aggressive colonization in the Orius System sparks the first major interstellar conflict since the Malaklan War against the Arcadian Alliance, a joint coalition of two species, the Tosanians and the Quantilions, former enemies who made peace two years after making first contact with a Giblatian cruiser fleet.
January 1224 FD - The Arcadian War reaches a fever pitch with the destruction of the SUE starbase PAX-4 in the Orius system.
August 1225 FD - SUE forces launch a counteroffensive in the Orius system, heavily bombarding the Arcadian base on Sectra Prime.
September 1225 FD - The Quantilion 1st fleet destroys the SUE 8th strike group in the Battle of Sector 15-32, narrowly preventing an invasion of the Arcadian moon Salintos, home of the Quantilions.
June 1226 FD - The tide of the Arcadian War begins to turn with the bloody destruction of the Arcadian forces on Sectra Prime.
August 1226 FD - SUE invasion forces enter the Orius System and begin landing troops on the Arcadian moon Salintos after heavily bombarding it. The bombardment alone took the lives of some 20 million Quantilions within a matter of hours.
December 1226 FD - The moon of Salintos falls to SUE forces after the destruction of the Quantilion and Tosanian fleets and the forces on the ground.
January 1227 FD - A massive SUE bombardment commences of Arcadia. Emir Elbius declares that the bombardment will not cease until the Tosanian government and military unconditionally submit to SUE annexation.
June 1227 FD - The Arcadian War ends after the submission of the Tosanians to SUE annexation. The 6-month bombardment that prompted this surrender took the lives of some 500 million Tosanians and is widely regarded as the most brutal episode of the war. Over 6 million Emerarians died in the four year long war.
April 2241 FD - The colony world of Metrokon rebels against the SUE. The Emir sends a fleet of 45 vessels to bombard the planet into capitulation. The brief but bloody conflict takes the lives of 800,000 of the world's 9 million colonists.
February 1250 FD - The SUE cruiser Maxanius destroys a Quantilion trade ship in the Orius System. This sparks a five month rebellion on Salintos that is ultimately put down by the deployment of an experimental radiation missile that kills five million people and renders the entire Quantilion city of Traskion uninhabitable.
June 1253 FD - The bloody reign of Emir Trax Elbius comes to an end with his death from cellular microsis. Gazrin Estus takes over with the intention of halting expansion, but in fact does the opposite.
September 1260 FD - The SUE expands into the Beltra and Paskon systems skirmishing with Kray pirate bands for five years.
March 1265 FD - The Kray pirate base on Paskon II is destroyed, ending the pirate threat and allowing further SUE colonization.
June 1271 FD - A failed assassination attempt leaves Emir Estus paranoid. He begins a campaign to crack down on dissident groups in the SUE, causes the executions of nearly half a million Emerarian citizens over the next decade.
April 1275 FD - The Emerarian Depression begins with a vast drop in Emerarian interstellar stock prices and several bank panics. Within a few years, most worlds in the SUE are engulfed in poverty, stifling the Union's expansion efforts.
May 1281 FD - The aging Emir Gazrin Estus dies at the age of 102 due to lung failure. The young, liberal-minded Van Numenius is chosen as his successor by the Senate in an emergency session.
July 1283 FD - With the support of the military, Van Numenius is ousted by the leader of the right-wing conservative opposition, Rex Paltrus who intends to reinstate the conservatism of the Emerarian state.
January 1284 FD - Van Numenius is quietly executed after a fixed trial in the capital city. Rex Paltrus now assumes control of an ailing state and a weak military.

Emir Prime has mostly barren landscape, dominated by mountains and deserts. However, the original nation, now the capital region of the united homeworld, boasts much fertile and pleasant land dissimilar from the rest of the planet.

Political Structure

Emeraria's Government is currently made up of 3 large parties and several sub-parties within them. Each party has its own ideals in which Emeraria should be run.


Security Party:

This party is dominated by the belief that Emeraria should be a safe nation for all and have a lot of power, mostly military and industry, to ensure safety. They however care nothing for the environment or religions and belief systems.

Sub-parties for the Security Party include: Communist Party, Industrial Revolutionists, and Safe-Cities Party


Free Life Party:

This party believes in the rights of the citizens above everything else, which means putting aside the law a little. They have strong faith in religions and cults. To them without the happy people, nothing is right.

Sub-Parties: Tree-huggers party, The People's Choice, and Catholics Universal


Pro-Business Party:

This party is dominated by the belief that strong businesses and private industries will secure a bright future for Emeraria. They, however, care much more about spending. They believe that money cannot just sit around, so they buy anything they can to further Emeraria's and their own goals.

Sub-Parties: Free Trade Alliance, Galactic Trade Conclave, and the Superiority Spending Group

Soldier Genetic Modifications

This has been an issue between some parties, but soldiers do recieve some genetic modifications to improve survival odds. Ingredients of of chemical compounds CLASSIFIED. All of these modifications are preformed under sedation. These modifications are only 1-8% improvements in functions.

1. Series of injections at skin surface for thicker and more durable skin.
2. Injections at major muscle groups for improved muscle development.
3. Injections at tendons, to hold up to increased muscle growth.
4. Interior bone weave with alloys for tougher bones.
5. Laser eye treatment for improved eyesight.
6. Increase hormone level in brain for improved cognitive function.
7. Auditory implants for heightened sense of hearing.

Current Military Hardware

All FT military units are recieving a major upgrade. The new gear is cheap to maintain and very cost effective. The gear is the best that is known currently.

Emerarian Marine Armors:

This armor can take a major amount of damage without the plates breaking or buckling. It comes with an advanced HUD that displays health and ammo data, radar and lifesign detector, and audio, text and information logbook.

Modular. It is also outfitted with a mod only manufactured in Emeraria. This mod gives a burst of adrenaline to a soldier when the suit detects a serious injury. This allows the soldier to get up or crawl away without feeling the pain of the wound for a few minutes. Other mods are currently being added.

The weapon shown is the Colonial Marine Standard (CS-54). It fires large, superheated energy bolts that inflict great kinetic and searing damage. The energy burst is packed with so much mass that it hits like a solid object. The guns does not have to be reloaded. It only needs to be recharged before and after combat. The guns must also be given ample cooling time using industrial grade coolants. The gun has a wireless connection to the HUD of the soldier. It also includes a retractable energy bayonet that penetrates most armor plates. It takes down shields but is deactivated when it saps the shield energy.
This weapon is rare now among soldiers. An analog would be a modern soldier carrying a WWII weapon, like the Thompson SMG


Mark 999 "Panther" Modular weapon system:

All troops are currently issued the Mark 999 as a primary weapon to replace the aging CS-54. This system is completely modular and can preform multiple weapon roles with the right componants. Emerarian engineers have slightly modified the weapon system to produce greater power efficiancy. They have also lowered the rate of fire to improve accuracy and increase the number of rounds available in a charge pack.

Rate of Fire: 700 rounds per minute (plasma, AR configuration), semi-automatic, 54 rounds per minute (sniper configuration), semi-automatic, 65 rounds per minute, 8 rounds per minute (Heavy weapon/Anit-Tank configuration)

Included in all of this firepower, each soldier is given training to control a second VI soldier. He sees the robot soldiers environment through a HUD uplink screen and is controlled with a video game like controller. The VI soldier is almost like a regular soldier except is is not living, has better armor, and can use bigger weapons. They are controlled by 1-1 closed connection so the unit cannot be hacked. However they can be deactivated, no getting around that. If the soldier controlling the VI dies, the unit will hold its position and defend itself from hostile units until it is picked up by a friendly unit or given a self-destruct order.

Cities and Ports

The main city in Emeraria is Emir Heights (Kouvoram). It is a huge city that houses the Peoples Corporate Council, consisting of all ministers minus the Prime Minister (Emir). This is a monster of an urban metropolis, with no trees whatsoever. Athmospheric gasses, air, and smog are filtered through generators and plants in the city itself.

The capital of the Chaffee Fringe, Iuporium. A port city where ships go through regularly to ship goods all over the colonies.

Homes and Home tech

This is the average house of an Emerarian citizen. It is a quaint little home for single people and provides comfort.

Family homes are larger and more comfortable for a family to be raised and live in.

Apartments are for many people to rent and relax.

Hotels are large and luxurious and maybe on of the only places you can find plants in the whole city.

Ships of the Line

Emerarian ships are unique from conventional starships by way of the drive core. Emerarian drive cores do not use conventional FTL or Element Zero drive cores. Emerarian drive cores use a slipgate wormhole system. Each ship is equipped with one, it works by projecting 2 very small masses of element zero at 2 different places. The masses are then supercharged by an energy field projected by the drive core that expands the mass at the point of destination. The 2 masses expand and form matching wormholes at the starting point and destination. This method allows for instantanious travel from here to there, but at a large power cost. This is again why only 1 ship in a fleet is told to project the wormhole. Each ship can individually project a wormhole if that particular ship needs to eject itself from a battle. If the ship suffers a power loss, then the engine must be reconfigured to conventional FTL.




Worlds Carrier:
Heavily armored with good amount of shields, MAC guns,compilment of missiles, and energy cannons and turrets. Main weapon, flight of 1850 fighters and dropships.

Strogitis dreadnought:
This dreadnought is very large and has very heavy armor, shield barriers, and weapons. Main weapons include energy cannons, main plasma cannons, and ion torpedo anti-ship weapons.

Crusader cruiser:
Main frontline warship, used for all battle situations. Energy cannons, missile launch bays, and MAC cannons complement the ship along with its armor belt and shields.

RDZ frigate:
Light warship, limited armor belt complemented by shields. Missile arrays, 50mm rotary turrets, and energy cannons make up the weapons compliment.

Hunter destroyer:
Used for dropping troops as a shuttlecraft or low orbit, and supporting fire combat.

Striker destroyer:
(Read Above) Different model of destroyer.

Tyr transport:
Light armor, attachable shields and weapons, Carries up to 850,000 tons of cargo or 15,000 men.

The Homeworld

The homeworld of Emir Prime is a large desert planet with abundant underground oceans and city-sized caverns. Major cities and their populations are housed in these sub-structures and heat from the planets mantle provides energy for all sorts of underground flora and fauna to flourish.

The surface is plagued by sandstorms and heat from the large sun. Military bases and defense grids dot the surface and a spaceports cover the surface of the industrialized world. Military outposts include giant anti-ship plasma batteries and missile silos and turrets.

Ground Armor Vehicles

MX-2v Command Battle Walker.

Boasts another main gun and improved battle management software. The thicker gundurium armor and advanced shield array allows for longer periods under fire.

MK-67v Grav Tank

Thicker armor and a larger gun improve the tanks odds of survival. The introduction of anti-gravity thrusters makes mines obsolete against this tank.
