As a nation: Our previous regime (The Great Imperium) commonly took territory and ruled the conquered land as if it were part of the Imperium proper, granting the inhabitants equal rights as Imperial citizens. After the Second Great Conquest failed, we swore off taking land (for the time being). Now, the most we do is set up a stable, responsible government (when part of an international peacekeeping coalition) and occasionally request a coastal fort on their land.

As soldiers: Our military is very devoted to the code of honor. Any soldier who steals or ransacks civilian property, even from an enemy nation's people, is sentenced to death by firing squad. Property of the enemy military (i.e., weapons taken as trophies) is excluded from this rule.

Taking of prizes by the troops is tolerated by the officers only after victory is ensured.
