Arztoztka's Stance On School Uniforms

When it became and issue, some years ago, referendum decided to declare the following:

''By popular vote, bill #121 has become legislation #121, allowing freedom on clothing decisions in the Arztoztkan Public Education System. However, those schools in the private sector are allowed to issue uniforms to students as long the process was financed by themselves and themselves only''.

However, via grand duchy votes, each school is permitted to have individual dress codes, as in a school allows fingerless gloves but the other school doesn't as an example.

All schools in the Imperial Oyster Union, not just on Planet Kelgre, are 100% private and not mandatory, but advised. Some schools do require uniforms, and some do not. In schools that do require uniforms, they are usually different for different races, as some have completely different physical builds.

Students wear Khaki uniforms resembling the British army in 1916. Until the age of 12 when they are divided up into their military branches. Infantry stick with Khaki. Artillerymen get a slightly darker shade of green, Air Force cadets get light blue (French Army 1916), Navy Cadets get Navy blue, Marine cadets get dark Green and Paratroopers get black and red.

Basically this, with the exception of religious or anti-government symbols.

Are students required to wear uniforms in school?
Varies between systems. Most don't have mandatory uniforms for their school systems, but it's not uncommon for a planet or two to have one -- shield worlds and other military-focused planets tend to have them.

If so, what do they wear?

All students are issued a Type 41A jacket; a dark-grey jacket with round band collar and a double-breasted design fastened with hidden metal snaps and covering a zipper that runs down the jacket's centerline. The jacket is made of a lightweight synthetic fabric and is resistant to stains, fire, radiation, insects, and sweat buildup. A patch showing the school's logo is sewn onto the right arm midway between the shoulder and the elbow. All versions of the jacket do not require any special washing procedures.

By default, the uniform is issued with pants. For males, slacks of a lighter gray color are available. Females are given the option between a skirt of the same color as the jacket, or slacks. Students are given glossy-black footwear, with female students who have selected to wear skirts being given leggings/stockings the same color as slacks. Species with inxeklivian/inhuman feet are not required to wear shoes.

For cold-weather situations, students are given black great-coats with maroon turtleneck sweaters to wear underneath, as well as ushankas bearing the school logo and optional balaclavas.

All clothing has variants for each sapient catalogued species within the Empire.

Although schools in Yulis do not usually have uniforms, most schools have dress codes. Rather than guidelines on the type of clothing that should be worn, they are usually guides as to minimums of clothing that should be worn, for example saying that a shirt, shorts and shoes must be worn during classes, or that formal clothing must be warn during assemblies. Dress codes are usually enforced at the door and students who do not comply are forced to change and are marked late. Most students comply with dress codes consistently. Most dress codes technically allow full nudity during break times (a liberty which is frequently taken) although some specifically prohibit it.

Education is on a state level, not a federal level. Most schools do of course have uniforms, both dress and casual.

Uniforms are standard in New Reading's schools. The National Education System requires a collared white shirt, belt, tie, blazer, and either short trousers or trousers. Specific institutions can set their own rules for specifics.

Are students required to wear uniforms in school?
From Mondays to Thursdays, students are required to wear school uniforms throughout the school day. Fridays are designated out of uniform days, where students can wear nearly anything, provided that they're fully dressed.

If so, what do they wear?

The average school uniform for males in Wolfbenz consists of a white button up shirt with a tie in the school colors. Khaki pants are worn with a belt and loafers. In the southern parts of Wolfbenz where the weather is slightly warmer, males will have the choice of wearing polo shirts during the warmer months.

For females, the average school uniform consists of a white button up shirt, a plaid skirt in the school colors, the length usually being slightly above the knees, although this rule is one of the lesser enforced ones. White socks are worn with light brown shoes. Ties are optional for females.

Students in public schools do not wear uniforms. Private schools can have their own rules regarding uniforms, but most do not require them.

by Ashyaria
As of current, Ashyarian school students are required to wear a uniform during attendance to school. It's proponents argue that it encourages equality among students, while it's opponents argue that it hinders free expression.

The uniform is sex-based, and has a degree of customization. Males are to wear dress shoes, dress pants, a formal shirt, a vest and tie and an optional suit jacket. Females are to wear a form of ballet flat, a plaid skirt, a formal shirt, a vest and tie, with an optional suit jacket and socks. Females are welcome to wear dress pants in place of their skirt, or to wear leggings underneath their skirt during cold times.

It is a very argued topic among civil rights organizations (CROs) and the Ashyarian parliament, again, for the above stated reasons: equality vs free expression.

Students generally do not have any issue with the uniform and often prefer them for their convenience and have been known to petition the government to maintain them on occasions.

Artaeon's schools have uniform days, which are Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are uniform-free days. (And Saturday is obviously school-free altogether.)
Our school uniform is modeled on European-style naval uniforms and was first used in Artaeon in the late 19th century.

Our schools require different uniforms for gender and skill. For example a boy efficient in strategies has high prescision gloves. Musket ball proof clothing and a musket sheat on his hip for pistols.

While school uniforms are not mandatory, all state schools in the Jasminia Islands have school uniform. The most common uniform is a light blue shirt with navy blue trousers. Uniforms also typically include a tie and either a jumper or blazer or sometimes both, which are also navy blue.

Uniforms are not required by the Royal Education and Science Ministry.

Although, every single citizen is required to wear a holographic display of his/her social status on their right shoulder when attending social gatherings ( school, theatre, movies, party conventions, etc. ).
The hologram displays the citizen's status with the appropriate coat of arms.
In student's case, if they are unaffiliated with any government agencies and if they do not hold diplomatic immunity, their school's logo will be displayed.

To instil a sense of unity, even among the hard working children of the Empire, uniforms are compulsory and designed by the government. Every student is issued a free uniform when they enter a new school if they do not have one already. These uniforms are largely identical from school to school, save for emblems.

School uniforms in Arvenia is much different. Students are allowed to wear in their own clothes like in USA and Sweden, while some schools offers uniforms, which is the same as the school uniforms in Britain, except the female students are allowed to wear pants rather than skirts.
