During this time, a good deal of Julian's siblings either were found dead or mysteriously announced their disinterest in the throne, eventually leaving only the little known Prince Sirius to ascend to the position

This is unprecedented on many levels, as Mia is not only the only organic being in our government, but also by far the youngest being as well. She is about 22, whereas most AIs in command are at least over 10,000 years old. She is also seemingly perpetually intoxicated, almost never seen without absently sipping from a bottle of some sort of alcoholic beverage.

And yet, she still manages to make incredibly logical and effective decisions for the nation. We have absolutely no idea how.
