Originally attempting to get Theirry Muthoni elected as president and then unify Rwanda & Burundi. But after the assassination of Muthoni, Mitchell was pushed to the forefront and his election almost caused a civil war. The Akebis re-took the country and the Burundians elected an Alebi party leader and opted for unification. The name of the country was still Rwanda-Urundi until the Congo began to fight the Binyarwanda. The Rwanda-Urundian military took the country and soon annexed it. After another series of assassinations including attempts on Mitchell, he convinced the government to grant him more powers.
Mitchell then declared the country to be Akebulan.

However, following the abandonment of our people by the mother country, his son was elected as Monarch and strategic marriages gave us a feasible Royal Family. From then on the King was Murat II, and the President was James Murat. After holding office for ten years he left voluntarily. Presidents are elected in Muratia, but there are no term limit as our constitution is founded on the principle that if the people want a leader, they are free to elect him.
