How are Equus Sapiens (Ponies) treated in your country?

So basically, How are Equus Sapiens (Ponies) treated in your country?
Since all sapient beings are treated equally in the Holy Roman Empire, Equus Sapiens or Ponies are treated like any other human. 35% of our population are sapient equines. Even some human royal families adopted ponies in their family and vice versa.

Our ponies are non-sapient. Equus Sapiens are fiction. My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic was briefly broadcast in Kugai but canceled due to low ratings; the DVD collection of episodes has however become something of a cult favorite among children.

However, a closely allied nation, the Interstitial Domain of Upper Avernum, has recently claimed to have established interdimensional contact with a country they call "Skyvale" that is allegedly populated by ponies. While such contact is not unheard of, it is of course a patently ridiculous notion that a world inspired by the fictional setting of a television or video game series could exist as a real place.

Anyhow, ponies are treated as any other sapient being, equally under the law of the land. Since ponies are the dominant majority at some 90% of population, that's pretty much self-evident.

Aye, it depends whether they're sapient or not, although in 98.7% of cases, they are.

We are, after all, located in an alternate universe where two-dimensional lifeforms can actually survive in a three-dimensional world without having the properties of sheets of paper.

Yes, Equus Sapiens does exist here and they're treated much better than in most Human nations.

Anyway, they're treated quite equally and are generally regarded much better than a lot of other Mammalian species here. Of course, it wasn't always this way for Ponies were originally inhabitants of several small islands that were colonized or conquered by Saurisians in the 18th century. Whatever resistance the equines put up was quickly overrun by the superior numbers and firepower of the Saurisian soldiers, aided by the great fear that permeated the Ponies at the mere sight of the strange and fearsome Reptiles that had come from beyond the sea.

Once subjugated, many Ponies were shipped back to Saurisia Proper, where they were sought as heavy labor in mines, farms, factories, mills, administrative servants, and as meteorology assistants. It was only in the mid-19th century that a movement began demanding for Ponies to be recognized as equals and given citizenship. Ponies and those native Saurisians who had took a liking to this interesting creatures campaigned for the Ponies to be granted citizenship.

It took decades but finally, they were allowed to become citizens along with Cetaceans in 1886. They still had to struggle with discrimination as a lot of the native Saurisians were still unused to the Ponies' presence and behaviors. Today, however, they do make up a small but notable minority, which continues to grow as more immigrate from Anti-Pony countries (those brave enough to live in a Reptilian-dominated nation, anyway). They are free to practice their religion unharassed due to the Constitution guaranteeing Freedom of Religion. Nowadays, people with publicly anti-pony attitudes are bitchslapped or mocked at best and literally curbstomped at worse.

None have ever tried to immigrate, nor have we ever interacted with a nation dominated by them.

That said, when interacting with naturally predatory species such as humans, we tend to take on our prey attitude, which is fine because humans are not generally aggressive toward us. However, when interacting with prey species, we take on our predatory attitude, and so the slightest offense can easily turn into violence on our part. Thus diplomacy would be somewhat difficult.

Equus Sapiens are a minority here in Rodrania, they are mainly immigrants from other Nations. They are treated the same as a homo sapiens (Human). They work, they have taxes and everything like normal citizens of our nation. The first Equus Sapiens to come to our country immigrated in 1913 and was really admired by our scientific, who investigated this "New creatures" to discover the things we actually know about them
