AR-18 is lighter, less bulky and easier and cheaper to produce. Probably more reliable too, if only because :stampedsteeltolorences:. Looks classier too. The K2 looks like a humpback whale compared to an AR-18 or AR-15.

The K2 is a heck of a lot simpler. Far less small parts to lose, too: that washer that holds the takedown pin in place on the AR-180 becomes a frisbee if you just poke it off of there. Nothing of that sorts on the 'Woo. Meanwhile, my father's pre-ban K2 has seen several thousands rounds from shit-surplus to Hornady V-Max to Federal Tracers and has never had a single malfunction of any kind whatsoever, even while using AR mags from the mid-1980s. Besides, you can customize a 'Woo more than an AR-180. You can get a spring-tension-held scope rail for an AR-180. You can get a quad-rail and, if post-ban, any style of stock you wish on a Daewoo. That, and it also has a wonderful, adjustable gas block valve to survive in any conditions.

The AR-18 is still lighter, and perfectly easy to maintain. And less recoil, because short-stroke.

The AR-18 is lighter by ~one pound, and barely needs maintenance at all. Recoil is minimal due to bleed-offs in gas tube and balance/weight of the rifle, and it still retains long-stroke glory. Plus side is that it can be easily used with sub-sonic ammunition and suppressors while still being able to cycle quite reliably. "Hump" on the front sight ring also means use of receiver-rail-mounted red dots can have a reference point for minute-of-man aiming in the event of an optics failure.

Crossbows. It seems a little low teck but my country under treaty has to have these wepons. But in a couple of days I get guns again so probley a rocket launcher would be my nations main wepon of choice.
