Vote in Adun's 3rd parlimentary elections

Postby Adun » Thu Jan 17, 2013 3:20 pm

The prime minister has asked Emperor Mutt to dissolve parliament as the term for the second Parliament for Adun has neared it’s end. The current coalition of the Socialists and the Greens have had mixed reviews. They were able to help jump start the economy of Adun after the Technocrat party was blamed for economic downturn, and have drasically increased the renewable energy throughout the nation. However, some pundits argue that the coalition’s high tax rate has cause brain drain as caused some hyper-rich to leave the nation.

There have been two new parties vying for seats in parliament. Both were formed in response to the coalition. The Labour Party has said although taxes were too low during the Technocrat administration, taxes were raised too high during the next administration. The other party, the National Party of Adun was created after the Socialist-Green party laxed immigration laws. Many immigrants have entered the republic in response. The National Party of Adun has been described by some as xenophobic. They have self-identified as “the only party willing to fight for the rights of native Adunians.”

The nation has gathered together and will be able to cast its voice for who the next leaders of Adun will be.

Though Euronion would prefer that Pro-Life be a trademark of the Provincial Party, we understand that it cannot be a perfect fit in politics and thus decide to side with the people we agree with the most which would be the Provincial Party. As a measure of good faith, the Provincial Party of Adun is officially recognized by the Euronion government as a legitimate political party. We would also indicate that should the Provincial Party win the election, it would be a pleasure for the Euronion Government to offer trade and would possibly consider opening an Embassy to further improve Euronion-Adun relations.
