The Empire of Straall are seeking strong and willing foreigners to serve in the Imperial Foreign legion, you will be the the Emperors will, on any shore.
The only requirements are to pass the athletic test and not have been charged with murder, manslaughter, rape and treason, and be between of the ages 17-45, and we will learn you Straallian so your own native tongue isn't a problem.

Men and women are welcome to join, you will serve a minimum of 6 years and under that time you will be in the bosom om Straall.
What will the Empire give you for yore serve?

The Legion is a Army within a Army -XXXX- with lots of arias to work with.
The highest rank you can obtain is the rank of Sargent Major, we would like to know the following: 1 How many will be joining, 2 there main religion, 3 there nationality and 4 what regiments they will be applying to.

Straal, we note this with interest. Although the government of Vordania is not entirely keen on Vordanians serving in the forces of nations with whom we do not have relations, we can't help but note that plenty seem to be interested in serving in the Straal Foreign Legion.

It is likely that most of the volunteers would be left-wing exiles/adventurers/idealists mixed in with the usual professionals seeking employment and petty criminals that are attracted to such organisations.

1. We estimate that around 2,500 volunteers will be in the SFL.

2. Most Vordanians are Protestant. However many leftists will be athiests, and other exiles may possibly be Catholic. Any volunteers from our colonies (maybe a few dozen) may be Muslim/Hindu/Sikh/Tribal/Other. But more likely than not a Vordanian volunteer will be (lapsed) Protestant.

3. Primarily Vordanian, mixed with a few colonials.

4. Well I imagine that they would be spread out. However perhaps one Engineer regiment would be greater that 50 percent Vordanian, similarly perhaps one Para regiment and one Infantry will be over half Vordanian, maybe with one company being largely left wing or Catholic, all the other Protestant? Other than that the troops can be distributed however they want to be, they are the ones enlisting.

Vordanians are prone to alcoholism however, and if left in civilian areas, or during peacetime, may not get on with the local population. Protestant Vordanians should not be exposed to open displays of Catholicism, as this may well provoke their wrath. However Vordanians make good soldiers, when well led, well fed, and with a bit of alcohol to share!
