- Corruption perception high in BH, says survey conducted by CSRM

21 December, 2013 • Suhatra, SACR, BH
ImageImageImageImage

SUHATRA, SACR, BH -- The annual statistical/analytical survey conducted by the Civil Service Regulatory Management of the Royal Ministry of the Commonwealth presented information regarding the general mistrust and levels of corruption that the general population had towards members of the Commonwealth Government.

According to the survey, titled 2012 BH Government Corruption Perception Analysis Survey:

    - two out of every ten government workers/administrators currently participate in corrupt acts in government
    - sixty-six percent of government workers/administrators stated that they held knowledge of other corrupt government workers
    - eighty-eight percent of the general population of subjects of the Commonwealth agreed that most, if not all members of the government were corrupt and/or abusive of their political presumptive.

In response to the survey's presented findings, GM Cosgrove Macargee spoke to news correspondents, stating that corruption within the government is a growing problem that needs to be addressed by the Royal Parliament immediately:

"I cannot agree any further with the survey conducted by the CSRM; corruption is a growing threat to the legitimacy and honorable service of the members of the Commonwealth Government. I assure the general public that efforts will be issued in regards to the development of new, harsher penalties for members of government participating in unlawful enterprise. Thank you."

.. quoted Macargee outside the Parliament Chambers shortly after a Round Session of the GMH's (Grand Minister's Hearings).

According to HRM Treasuries and Government Finances, it is estimated that approximately ß 500,900,150 bahatas went through the finance of "administrative costs and budget", during the 569th and 570th Congregations of the Royal Parliament, and an additional ß 40,000,102 bahatas unaccounted through transfers of finance between several government departments.

Questions regarding GM Macargee's indiscreet role in the sudden rise of political corruption have developed, with some even claiming that Macargee usurped his government position through promises of sustaining corruption in politics.

In conclusion with the presented survey, the CSRM is expected to release its annual analysis report regarding the current state of legitimacy of the Commonwealth Government, along with a dossier of proven members of government participating in corrupt practices.

His Royal Majesty, Sujuntaro, is expected to address the Royal Parliament in coming weeks in regards to the amount of corruption that has plagued the Bahanesian Commonwealth Government.

- Agricultural homesteads and stations in western BH suffer Frunga livestock infestation

24 January, 2013 • Sohoizea, BH
ImageImageImageImage

SOHOIZEA -- Many farmers and homesteaders that possess land holdings in the western reaches of the nation are reporting large amounts of livestock statistical casualties in the wake of a mysterious and unexpected outbreak of Frunga viral infestations throughout their agricultural stations. A recent census/survey rallied by the Parliamentary Commission of Agricultural Development and Management concluded that the animals most vulnerable and affected by the outbreak of the Frunga bacterial infection include but are not limited to: cattle, chicken, horse, and deer, to name a few.

In response to the Frunga outbreak, farmers have begun contending with holding off production of livestocks until the outbreak has subsided, as the Disease Control Service begins work on the release of a medical cure to halt the spread of the bacterial infection.

One family that currently possesses a station within the agricultural areas of the Commonwealth, stated that without the availability of healthy and productively fertile livestock, their harvest for the seasonal half of the year could end up in calamity should a cure not be discovered.

Some farmers, however, have remained virtually unaffected by the Frunga outbreak. Causation of this is currently only speculative, but unaffected livestock holders are still pushing for cautionary processes and maneuvers in order to prevent the outbreak from spreading within their lines. Supplementary measures, such as less communal grazing throughout pastures, and a thorough inspection of feed administered to livestock, are just a few measures taken by seemingly unaffected farmers as of yet.

Many farmers expressed their concern over the effects that could occur should the Frunga persist to infect more genetic strains of other vulnerable collections of their livestock harvests, and have called upon their Commonwealth parliamentary delegations and representatives to appeal to the Grand Parliament for a legislative action in regards to supplementing government assistance towards Bahanesia's effectively moderate agricultural industries.

* * *

UPDATE - Frunga virus decimates entire livestocks in two provinces near Sohoizea; Belaykut-Reas and Perathik. Agriculture representatives set to convene in Belaykut to discuss options of approach in response to outbreak. Belaykut-Reas, Perathik, Sohoizea, Marthea, and Huma provinces are instructed to dispose of infected Frunga livestock remains through immolation by the Disease Control Service.
