Main Military Weapon...

A knockoff of the QBZ-95G. The difference is that we can afford to better the original ammunition (5.8×42mm DBP87 with steel casing) by using copper casing to improve the overall performance.

So nice to see the mk. 7 is online, and well done. Bravo I say!

The SLAR-60 is a 7.62x51 NATO/.308 chambered, select fire battle rifle. First adopted in 1960 by the government forces, the rifle was produced for only 7 years, but in those 7 years over 1.4 million were produced. Feeding from a 20 round magazine, the roller-delayed blowback rifle has a 19.5 inch barrel. By use of picatinny rails or Soviet-style side rails, it can attach a wide range of optics. It features last-bolt hold open as a standard in all rifles. Variations include the SLAR-60S, a version with an inter graded bi-pod and a bull barrel for full automatic fire, the SLAR-MR, with a 24 inch barrel for marksmen. the SLAR-612, the most modern version, is made out of Plastics and alloys to cut on weight. The military has interest in adopting a more intermediate round, but presently funding is not going its way, despite active conscription.

I got into an argument about guns with a female acquaintance of mine today, and have offered to take her to the local gun range. Since the board of weapons I would normally browse is being spammed to oblivion by anti-gunners, I should like to ask you gentlemen a question.

What should I bring?

I own:
Marlin model 60
Winchester 1897
Colt Coltsman (.30-06)
Winchester model 70 (.30-06)
Saiga 12
Systema Mosina, M91/30
SKS-45
Saiga 5.45
Hipoint 4595
Ruger 22/45
And I can get a PM with no issue.

I have arrived! Stupid finals kept me busy. Like the sessional picture. Trans it's not "fortify the right" as that implies they build fortifications around their right. More appropriate would be "waved the right"

Since I stink at line art and don't have any for my guns...

The Gov't of SoH used the .276 Pedersen until 1994. First adopted in 1923 along with the Pedersen rifle, which saw use until 1949 when it was updated to the Pedersen Rifle MK. 2.

In 1994 SoH adopted case-less rounds, of which I haven't come up with more...

No, not really. A little large of a caliber, too heavy ammunition. It's made to blow up tanks rather than suppress infantry. Although it is a possibility.

Anyways...

It isn't much heavier than what you asked and is much better for suppression because larger warhead. *nods*

I streamlined it so it wouldn't look as phallic.

Hilariously, the ribbed-for-her-pleasure version of FUTUREGUN that I first posted was itself toned down from the original version, which looked roughly like a horse cock as envisioned by H.R. Giger.

Ammo's way heavier and bigger though xP

I'll probably end up using the SRAW-MPV. The launcher weighs around the same as the APILAS and it's intended to be an assault weapon.

Also, repost, since it likely got ignored.....

The Lithgow small arms museum was interesting. There was a massive collwction of Lugers amd Lee Enfields, plus some interesting things like a Pederson prototype, the McCrudden LMG and one of the original Bren prototypes.

There were also a SMLE, L1A1, Owen and F88 that you could pick up and handle. I have to say, I must have short arms or something, because the F88 was the only on of the guns that I felt comfortable holding. I had to use the SLR's magazine as a geip before it felt comfortable, and had to really bring my hands close together on the Lee-Enfield.

Also, after handling them and feeling their weight, I'm beginning to re-evaluate my SPIW type weapon, which is going to be bloody heavy. Maybe something a bit lighter might be a better option.

You managed to knock off a knock off?

Good job!

China-jokes aside, QBZ's not that great of a weapon iirc. I'd prefer to make a domestic weapon chambered in 5.8 mm (with brass or copper casings, of course). But that's because I don't have to deal with a 2.3 million man conscript army.

Ejecting too close to the face seems like a bad idea, even though it'll have ambi ejection ARX-160 style. How come an ejection port directly above the chamber wouldn't work?
