The Codex Daemonica: Abridged Edition is a brief report on all evil supernatural phenomenas and entities studied by the exorcists and demon hunters of the Inquisition of the Holy Republic. Many of the entities that shall be reported below lack a physical manifestation, although a few do, which is rarely seen. The Inquisition of the Holy Republic of Prazinia does not advise for the weak of spirit to stare at the graphical descriptions of such evils for too long, and also reminds that as spiritual beings, they do not have a single form through which they appear, and may appear in many other less frightening forms. Such less frightening forms are actually the most dangerous, for they only manifest in such way to attempt corrupting your soul. Although there are far more evils, these are those whose existence has been so far recorded for reviewing or testified by multiple witnesses, after the string of supernatural events that ailed the Holy Republic of Prazinia.
Common omens: Demonic presence can usually be sensed by most but the most closed people to the spiritual realm, if such evil beings actually intend for the victim to see them. The more powerful demons tend to work in a far more subtle manner, and prefer to slowly corrupt people to become ruthless, selfish and sinners rather than to scare them, although they may as well use their terror against people when attempts to corrupt them do not work. The strange feeling that there is some presence with you, even if you are alone, or something else besides the people you see, is one of the most common omens, followed by an unnatural burden over your shoulders, and by the ever common goosebumps.
More subtle omens include a sudden disposition of yourself to behave aggressively and selfishly, remembering all of a sudden of someone who did you harm a long time ago followed by hatred and desires of vengeance, depression and lack of energy to work and approach from your family and friends. However, you should first consult a psychologist, for many of these emotional symptoms may as well have completely non-spiritual causes, and only if scientific treatment does not work, you should consider the possibility of demonic influences. Beware of the fact that powerful demons may lead people not only to evil, but to complete insanity.
Solution: The best form to fight against evil is by having faith in the Lord and in Jesus Christ, coupled with a strong willpower, although faith can even shield the weak of will from such evils. For the unbelievers and skeptic, only a very strong willpower and the willingness to be a good, forgiving and helpful person can protect them from demonic influences, although as men are prone to sin, without faith, eventually evil shall triumph.

Witnessed Manifestations: Gigantic Fly, Massive Swarms of Flies and a growing, tendril-like ooze of Rotten Flesh with human faces and eyes popping from it.
Notes: One of the most witnessed demons since the first reports of haunts and otherworldly events, Beelzebub is believed to be one of the major players in the demonic invasion seeking to destroy Prazinia to pave the way for the Antichrist's rule. Gluttony will severely strengthen such being, and thus is heavily discouraged should any of its horrible manifestations be seen. If you are not a Grey Knight of the Inquisition, it is advisable to depart from your city and warn all faithful ones immediately should you sight any of these manifestations. And watch your step: the way such ooze kills the pure is extremely painful, but at least in Heaven they shall find peace.

Witnessed Manifestations: Humanoid build of rotten flesh emerging from the ooze-like manifestation of Beelzebub with the Antichrist cross in its forehead.
Notes: Always seen together with the flesh ooze manifestation, believed to be Beelzebub minions. Although vulnerable to small arms fire, for each fleshling downed, two more tend to come from the fleshly manifestation of Beelzebub, perhaps the utmost proof wrath and violence cannot defeat evil. Use of gas masks is recommended for those strong of spirit but weak of stomach. Reportedly anything touched by one will begin to rot, unless extremely strong and unwavering faith is exerted.

Witnessed Manifestations: Winged humanoid shadows with deep red eyes, dark ethereal orbs that seem to absorb light
Notes: Seem unable to provoke any direct physical harm, and instead resort to psychological terror, mockery and attempts to put faithful to fight against each other, according to reports from soldiers of the Inquisition who were tormented by them in the battlefield. Particularly vulnerable to light shaped into holy symbols. The righteous and faithful need not to fear them, or give ears to their lies and attempts to corrupt them. However, it is believed Wraiths are capable of possessing those who waver in their faith. Weapons are obviously of no use against these foul spirits.

Witnessed Manifestations: Gigantic troll-like demon.
Notes: First witnessed event of a satanic cult successfully bringing a demon to the physical world. This evil being is not very dangerous for the souls of men, except for the fact thoughts of hatred and vengeance tend to surface near its presence, to the point the unholy may end too distracted killing themselves to notice when such fiend takes the one who was not killed yet. Artillery and tank fire has been unable to bring harm to it, while known exorcism methods have been proved ineffective. Currently stands as a major threat to the future of Prazinia in the war of flesh.
