Voter fraud concerns emerge as election results appear 'off'

As the votes slowly come in for Parliament elections in Montecroce, the results have begun to both startle and please many. For now, it seems the Partito Nazionale may have locked in a win in the election, and have the majority of the seats. But this sudden rise in votes for the PN has caused some to suspect that voter fraud is occurring. Currently, the PN will have a 35% share of Parliament seats, up from about 12% previously. Political scholars in the country contribute the rise to growing dissatisfaction with the Unione Indipendente party's policies. These policies have been more and more left-leaning as of late, perhaps causing members of the supposed center-right party to search for a party that is more representative of their beliefs.
While no evidence has been found of voting fraud, it may be hard to dissipate such rumors if the PN does indeed win the elections. The PN is widely considered to be a large government capitalist party, and many more socialist-minded citizens fear that capitalism will ruin the nation. The Stati Confederati (SC) party, however, seem to believe the fears of voter fraud to be legitimate, stating that these elections may permanently decide the future of the nation, and have the potential to set up a dictatorship.
While the SC and PN have not often seen eye-to-eye, except in economical matters, these accusations, however indirect, may set off a large confrontation in the coming months within Parliament, and indeed, in the streets between supporters of both parties.
Voting is expected to be complete by Sunday morning.
