— A Dossier Dedicated to the Anian Political Theory —
Lovingly Crafted by Azura / New Azura on Thursday, September 27th, 2012

Anianism [Rithosian: An'ia'nyza] is the guiding political ideology of the Social Cleansing Movement which began in Azura in September 2012. It was first postulated by Dr. Anian Du'aur (1936 — ), the Chairman Emeritus of Ashtaroth Civil University's Political Sciences Department in 1967, and was expounded upon by Dr. Jun Hai'sek (1971 — ) as a means of uniting partisans together under a common shared ideology against Anaxian Imperialism. The presentation of the First Anian Doctrine at the College of Commiserates in July 2002 is thought to be the definitive starting point for the underground S.C. Movement. To date, the Anian Doctrine has been widely implemented in various aspects of Tetrakoi Azura in the wake of that country's violent revolution and subsequent overthrow of the Imperialist Anaximander Family.

Anianism is a societal construct which creates an autocratic government that wields total control over the livelihood of its population. Its primary goal is to create a classless society that is geared towards market socialism and social welfare on the domestic level, and policies commiserate with mercantilism and neo-mercantilism on the international level. In the Anian System, self-determination is sacrificed for social equality and security.

The Mos'vodis
The Anian Theory of Political Governance

The Anian Theory of Political Governance, first postulated in 1971 by Dr. Anian Du'naur, correlates the degradation of traditional Socialist movements with the incorporation of self-determination into the sociopolitical condition. According to Du'naur, absolute freedom of the mind indoctrinates a populace to value the aesthetic worth of individuality at the expense of retarding empathetic growth on a societal level. Thus, for a society to resist the inexorable conclusion of self-determination and its destructive ends, national survival necessitates a certain level of social conditioning, which would serve to engender in a population a codicillary relationship with its government. Any effectual change in the national psyche of a fragmented society would require the absolute dominion of a body of governance over said society, thus establishing the causality of an autocratic form of government. Dr. Hai'sek noted the irony of the Anaxian Imperial State in his 1991 treatise on Anianist Implementation by likening Azura to a 'petrie dish of possibility that awaits cultivation'. Anianists are not inherently biased against the autocratic government of an imperialist or monarchical society; instead, the grievous flaw therein lies with the utilization of societal exceptionalism and the concept of 'national mythos' to unite populations on a superficial level. To the Anianist, a strong state is not a subject of pride, but of expectation; the establishment of such concepts as a means of directing national policy fails to subjugate cultural degradation through societal separation and divisiveness.

The model Anianist form of government would predicate the creation of a multifaceted institution which can service the three major needs of the state. First, the Anian Government would harbor the uncontested authority of absolute power in every aspect of society, including the rearing of children from an early age. Second, the Anian Government would serve as the major cultivator of national unity through the adjudication of all policies and tactics presently available to them, predicating the need to strip away the moral fabric of implied 'immoralities' whose meritorious worth should not be held commiserate with ethical considerations, social stigmas or taboos. Finally, the Anian Government would assume the role of a geopolitical vanguard, effectuating the strength of the society through conventional methods of force projection: namely, the infusion of the national product into economic circles of prosperity and an increased focus on military strength. The end product of this assimilated amalgamate is an autocratic police state that is desirous of economic and military superiority. To corral these two principles, the government is such that its primary functions include the subjugation of a society based on the principle of 'shared experience', creating a system of social security and protection for those who acquiesce—and severe punishment for those who do not.

The Darost Tai'dyn
The Anian Theory of Economic Development

Anianism flatly rejects capitalism and the free market, with Du'naur noting the causality of class division in capitalist societies, which predicates the eventual rise of class warfare. However, the development of a centrally-planned economy poses numerous problems to the Anianist; namely, the inherent weakness of the economic model in comparison to free-market capitalist constructs. To counter this, Anianist Economics focuses on a combination of market socialism and syndicalism that Du'naur and Hai'sek call 'Darost Social Economics' after the Rithosian word for 'merger'. This construct appropriates economic conditions where all models of industry are publicly owned, with capital gains siphoned into a social dividend for equitable disbursement amongst the population. The ownership of equity in the national market is a guaranteed privilege to all citizens. To facilitate the viability of such a system, industries are not regulated by the central government. Instead, they are overseen by regulatory boards called Guilds, a variation on trade unions where labor organizers can effectuate prices according to marginal cost in order to achieve Tai'dyn Efficacy—the condition where livelihood standards can be increased universally without degrading the living conditions of a segment of the population. The Guilds coordinate with one another through a Central Planning Union, which is run by government appointments based on aptitude, versus the policy of election.

The Anianist Economic System would see a tiered authority model, with the Central Planning Union setting prices and distributing capital gains into the social dividend based on the analytical oversight of industry provided by the Trade Guilds. Industries would then utilize the instruction of the Trade Guilds to adhere to effective cost-control mechanisms while producing only what the market demands. In this model, capitalist exploitation is eliminated through the social dividend, the program by which profits are directed towards the public welfare versus the entrepreneur or capitalist. The Central Planning Union coordinates the domestic economic infrastructure with the Central Government as it cultivates international trade through mercantilism and the overall control of exports through a combination of traditional and neo-mercantilism constructs. The Central Government's sole responsibility in the economic infrastructure outside of foreign trade is to balance the responsibility of managing public finance with the appropriation of a public workforce into the most effective field possible. The government takes an active role in cultivating the talents of its citizenry for work in specified areas—those skilled in particular areas are appointed to correlating fields of industry. Once a citizen has entered the labor force, they fall under the direction of the Central Planning Union and its guilds for all intensive purposes. In controlling public finance, the Central Government owns all banks, and derives social welfare from the dividend created by the state market.

The Hai'sek Vor'nalom
The Anian Theory of Social Equality

Anianism promulgates the inferiority of national exceptionalism, engendering in the population an expectancy to work towards a strong state. In other words, pride is neutered by the government in favor of a system of reward and punishment for citizens who take their appropriated place in society. All citizens in an Anian Society are viewed as 'equal in potential', while reservations are kept for the physically infirm and mentally challenged. The Anian social condition is governed by Amoral Objectivity—the allocation of resources only to those citizens who can be of use to society. Euthanasia and sterilization are commonplace to prevent the unnecessary drain on societal resources from those who are incapable of working or producing a material worth to the country. Social welfare instead is geared towards the equitable distribution of material wealth to all who produce it, thus eliminating class divisions from the society. To coincide with this elimination of class division, the Anian system promulgates childhood indoctrination for the purposes of eliminating the more detrimental aspects of self-determination. The Government's control over the population becomes the indoctrinated belief in Vor'nalom, a condition postulated by Hai'sek which states that while equality is inherently contradictory to the human condition, such a society may be fostered by the unnatural institution of a government which exists to artificially sustain societal equity. Welfare then is allocated only to those who acquiesce to the Anian System. Dissenters, political activists or those unable to provide for the system are deemed anathema, and are either euthanized, imprisoned, or executed as deemed necessary.

Not Socialism in its definition. Democratic Socialism is more of what my people learn towards. I have the tag of "Socialism" because it is impossible to place the tag of "Democratic Socialism". That is the logic behind what it say.s
