Greetings to all nations of the world. We from the Democratic Republic of Gijinkia wish to formally extend our invitation to the nations of the world to apply for the establishment of a diplomatic mission within Gijinkia. Our government has decided that, in the spirit of international ties of brotherhood, our nation is hereby open for the construction of embassies from various nations throughout the world, so as to establish diplomatic contacts, to work on a mutual understanding between either government, and to encourage further diplomatic, cultural, and trade relations that will mutually benefit either nation.
The Democratic Republic of Gijinkia is a relatively young nation, founded in late 1993 after rising victorious out of its independence war, and broke off from the colonial rule of Sinnoh over Gijinkia. The nation's people, the gijinka, are a species related to humans, and have evolved with physical traits of pokémon that are native to Gijinkia. It is a richly cultured, and friendly nation, whose main religion is Arceusism, of which the mythology also explains how the first gijinka were formed. Gijinkia's national language is English, spoken by the vast majority of the people, and while Japanese is spoken by almost 30% of the people, it was abolished as a national language in 1994.
While it is a nation that was formed out of clans uniting under one banner, these ancient clan relations began to hold smaller and smaller value in society, as the continued cross-clan relations have made heritage unimportant, and since shortly before its independence, the clan system had been rendered obsolete.
Today, Gijinkia stands strong, as a democratic nation, whose economy has, since its independence, been growing steadily, with big economic booms that have livened up the secondary and tertiary sector immensely. Gijinkia's main imports include Telecommunication equipment, machinery, office machines, transport equipment, copper, crude oil, petroleum products, while in terms of exports, it competes in Fruits, beverages, wool, wheat, coal, gold, iron ore, steel, aluminium, machinery, transport equipment. Its people are well-known to be cordial, down-to-earth, and are usually described as a laid-back lot.
