We use a highly accurate satellite cannon, that launches a giant exo-suit weapon that fires a concentrated, stored energy blast collected from the sun. OP :)

Yep, college. Also at college I had someone insult my mother.. After I had a brief ten-minute phone call with him he literally wrote my mother a formal apology and redacted the offending statements. :lol2:

Also, another way to check what rules I carried over is to check the OP. ;)

That said, I found a local gun store that sells Class II/Form II firearms and accessories: short-barreleds, AOWs, suppressors, etc. Applied, denied. I'll probably hang out at the place some more, though, since they probably get potential job-seeking college students in there all the time. They had a nice Polish underfolder AKMS in there that caught my eye, as well. Cool bunch of guys.

Oh, and they also had an FAL on their shelves, so I might look into it simply because it's there and I don't have one. :)

I just wish my HP laptop had a "paint" program worth a shit. I can't even attempt lineart with this abortion of a program that came with it/Windows 7. Is there anywhere to download the legit MS Paint program? I'm not very busy thanks to my kick-ass schedule (sort of), so I figured I might as well do something in my free time besides throw money at AKs and FALs.

Go with the FAL ;) What model is it?

We force People to watch Glee
“And the Earth was without form and void and darkness was on the face of the deep. And God said let there be light, and their was light.” Isn’t that brilliant? He made light up. There was nothing before. It’s not like he saw some on holiday, and went “Oh that’d be great back on Earth” – he made it up! It’s not like there was twilight and he went “Let’s have that a little bit brighter”. He just went “Let there be light” and at the speed of light… he didn’t go “Let there be light, come on – I’m busy. I’ve got a lot to do. I’ve only got seven days!”

He’s amazing. So he did the light, invented it. Which means, he created the heaven and the earth, IN THE DARK! Fuckin’ hell – how good is that?!

I'm probably not going to get an FAL any time soon. The good quality ones typically run around $1,000.00 or a little over. I am going to go down to the gun store later this morning though and check it out just to familiarize myself with it. The reason the $1,000.00 price tag is keeping me from getting it is because I've still got to wait for those SGL 21-84s to get in stock for my girlfriend: that'll be about $1,200.00, so I won't have much to throw money at after that purchase. That, and 7.62 NATO/.308 Win. is nearly a dollar per round.

I'm thinking I'll go down today, check out their FAL and maybe an M1A and probably their AKMS clone. Probably talk to them a bit, ask some questions, etc., and purchase some ammunition before I leave. I saw they had 7.62x39mm, but I think it was only Wolf black box (that stuff I've had bad experiences with). I might mention to them the almighty Golden Tiger brand and explain how amazing and erection-inducing it is.

Maybe not that last part.

So, yeah, guys: I'mma gonna look at some weapons for familiarization today so I can better help at any time in the future. They had a Galil, AR-18 (I think), M1As, an FAL, an AUG clone, a 10" AR SBR with suppressor, AKMS, SIG 556, and one of those .50BMG bolt-action AR-15s. I think today will be a good day.

Due from many shitty bullpups that fire many shitty cartridges, Dahria is just now issuing a new primary armament.

Image

This is the DR-32 GPAR. Excuse the rookie shading "pls."

Currently, the DR-32 uses a cartridge commonly found in Dahria, that being the .266 DS.

It holds its velocity and energy far better than a .223 5.56mm cartridge, and retains accuracy as well.

Moar specs abound.

Definitely wants some work, but from a newbie is good.

Try working in a larger scale (1px:1mm is nice, easy and popular) and use more references.

well the martini henry rifle is used by the conscript soldiers during their year of national service.volenteers are equiped with an m14 and an FN 5-7.the fire base of a 5 man section is the m60.In each 5 man section of the 15 man unit there is a weapon specialist armed with said M60 or an H-S precision pro series 2000 HTR. The elite forces of the dictatorship,or the "skull takers" are armed with a steyr Aug. The cabonese liberation militia, who are used as guerrila forces in all nieghboring states to pressure them into joining the confederacy, use the Lee enfield smle and any military surplus that can be spared.Reservist play a major pat in this movement and go on a rotation of 3 months service in one state,5 at home and then 3 in another nieghboring state.

Handled the FAL. It was fucking amazing. I think my father and I are going to split prices on it and purchase it within the next couple of months if it doesn't sell first. It's an SA58, metric-dimensions, fold-out bipod, picatinny rail on the top receiver cover (not too impressed by this, but at least I won't ever have to worry about optics I guess? Looks like it may be removable, but I'm not sure as it's stamped "SA58," as well). Balanced amazingly, safety was easy to use, sights were fine, and it was a really enjoyable rifle with a decent trigger on it. Magazine changes were easy due to me being used to the AK series. Didn't take it apart though: he asked that I didn't, and I was okay with that since I've never done it before.

The AUG clone was also, as much as I hate to say it... enjoyable. It wasn't awkward to reload, it balanced really well, it was a very nice, compact package, and had plenty of rail-estate on it with places for even more. Folding foregrip could be used as a foregrip, obviously, or folded up as a more traditional handguard: I enjoyed that. Ejection port could be modified to eject to one side or the other, as well, and it was totally ambidextrous. It was the first rifle I held left-handed that felt semi-natural to hold left-handed. Not a big fan of how giant the butt of it is, but the rest was okay. I don't think reloading while prone would be an issue either as this one uses STANAG magazines rather than proprietary. It was actually really fun to mess around with. Trigger wasn't bad for a bullpup either other than the fact you can't really predict when it'll trip the sear. It doesn't have a slight increase in pressure before releasing, so it's not a two-stage. It's a one-stage, but there's a bit of trigger creep before it actually disengages, much like Taurus semi-automatic pistols.

I also looked over their "DO NOT TOUCH" rifles. One was a 5.56 IMI-made Galil, another was a Beretta AR-70, there was an FN FNC there, and a Krag-Jorgenson (someone correct me here: I totally butchered the name). There was also a wood-stocked Valmet there. I talked to the owner a bit and apparently they do transferable full-autos, suppressors, SBRs, SBSs, AOWs, etc. Had a customer walk in to pick up his BATFE-approved "pistol, AOW" weapon while I was there and he had it engraved as required. Neat little shop.

They're also asking roughly $100 less than MSRP on their AK variants and he got in a DPMS AR-10, a Turkish shotgun of some kind, several Hi-Points to go along with his SIGs, Colts, GLOCKs, and Kimbers, and I handled a .22LR M1 Carbine clone. Really tempted to buy that little thing, but I'm needing to save myself for that SGL 21-84.

So, yeah: bullpups don't seem as bad now, but I would still prefer a traditional rifle over them. It may be a bit longer, but it's more natural to reload and operate. If a bullpup were your first rifle, though, (like in countries where civilians don't really have guns, so their first "gun" is a govt.-issued bullpup) it's probably second-nature using one.

Swords have been status symbols for basically exactly that reason; they're pure weapons from the ground up and not very good tools.
