no offence but our media would probably just end up calling it a conflict, instead of a out and out war
the cold would create a problem so we would likely send the army mountain divisions with environment suits, and our tanks and planes can take -105 on a bad day so thats not an issue

We would not beat them, but they would certainly not 'win' in any sense of the term that didn't involve massive casualties, constant rebellions, and nuclear force. Against them, that is.

Why does no one read the sig? It's in bold text. :palm: You'd be an easy win for us, unless your FT.

As for the fellow above me with the Antiquity rating.... Well we're screwed.

yes, they say numbers dont win wars but in this case its like 30 to 1 and we can make enough bombs in a couple days to last months a smaller nation just doesnt stand much chance against out industrial machine

I think it would be a lost for both of us actually, no winner in this situation. We are fairly evenly matched, and a full scale war between the both of us would probably end up with a nuclear holocaust. Thus, I think we would most likely be fighting each other in a proxy war, where... both of us would benefit from the boost in arms sales. History has taught that the one with the ground troops in a proxy war is the one that would lose (Vietnam, Afghanistan), or if both powers committed ground troops (Korea), then it would be a stalemate. So, either nuclear holocaust, lost in a proxy war with ground troops committed, won in a proxy war without committed ground troops (but with advisers and supplies), or a draw with no clear winner.

Us, without a doubt. If they wish to pursue the nuclear option, our ABM systems are some of the best in existence- it's what we get for having a nuclear arsenal much smaller than our similarly sized counterparts.

Would we beat The Grand World Order in a war? No. Would we beat them at Tetris? I don't know, that's a strange question.

Yes. Their leaders would be easily fooled by our, "made it appear that we threw the ball, when in fact we did not throw the ball," strategy of deception.

We hardly have enough resources and equipment to keep ourselves alive let alone fight another nation more than ten times our size.

Maltropian Armed ForcesHavl Armed Forces
Army
150,000,000 Infantry troops
3,600,000 Artillery troops
240,000 Tanks
3,120,000 Trucks
25,000 Cavalry
15,000,000 National Minutemen (Militia)

Air Force
3,280,000 Light Fighter craft
275,000 Heavy air craft
240,781 Bombers

Navy
2400 Heavy cruisers
350 Patrol ships
1300 Light cruisers
37 Aircraft carriers
Capt. Steve Dublowski

An armed conflict between Havl and Maltropia would never happen, but if it did... I don't know how Steve would survive this one.

Brilliant. :p Best post I've seen in this thread.

And, though you'd obviously lose if Steve launched an invasion of Maltropia, your larger population would most likely halt any advance I attempted. An invasion of Havl by Maltropia would not succeed.
