Everything else considered, the only real requirement for gun ownership is Party membership.

The right to own firearms is a constitutional right in The Independent Provinces. However restrictions on subjects like concealed weapons or automatcic weapons is left to the sovereign provinces. However currently no province bans either and the national age to legally own a fire arm is eighteen. It is also a national law that you must have a clean criminal record to own a fire arm. Amnesty may me granted depending on the crime, ie. A long history of parking tickets or disturbing the peace by frequently playing loud music will not bar you from buying a fire arm. Most serious crimes such as murder or rape are punishable by death or forced labour for life in all provinces so it hardly matters. Small crimes such as petty thievery are punished by public flogging in all provinces as well. The point is criminals canning quite arms legally, but if they do illegally the law abiding citizen will be able to defend himself.

Gun ownership is mandatory, all Soviet citizens must carry atleast 1 gun in they're house. Ironicly enough the arms industry is nationalised and the government makes big profits from gun sales.

You have it, you own it but if you own it the State owns it aswell (it is a saying that roughly means that if you own a gun you HAVE to be in the National Militia when we are being invaded.. needless to say in our Militarized society most people are in either Military Service or In the Militia that is only active during a defense of the mainland)

Um....Let's see, citizens in my nation can buy guns, but maximun only 3, none of its are explosives (RPG, Mine/Grenade Thrower etc) and must have the Conscription Membership, so when my nation invaded, anyone that have gun must join the Militia Conscription Service or Military Conscription Service, with the only difference is that Militia offers fewer wage and minimal training, while Military give soldier's wage and further training...

Our nation also offers shootout session which is free for citizens who want to have gun with cheaper prices, but they will only got handgun or sawn-off, while if you buy, YOU get better guns.

So, my nation don't have any gun laws, as long as the citizens not rebel against the nation...

Nobleman (those with royal blood) can own whatever guns they want if they pass a safety test and a mental health exam. Normal people are prohibited from owning any weapons. This keeps the 1% in power.

Any non-registered (or however you say it) guns are allowed as long as it is under 10mm, anything above that requires registration, but after that the largest privately owned man-portable weapon is a 20mm autocannon. Unfortunately, only citizens born in our nation get full access to those weapons. Citizens who have been in the nation for a minimum of 30 years are allowed to own, at most, a single 5.56mm firearm, but usually a couple of 9mm pistols. The reason for such unusual gun laws is because of neighbouring nations with radicals and extremists running around, possibly infiltrating to blend in with the rest, only to find a very limited market for guns. Just goes to show; some nations are gun-a-phobes, while others, like us, are gun-a-holics. :)

A weapon is just a background check away (as long as you're 18), and the check takes about 4 minutes.

Of course, you're required to get a permit for automatic weapons. The permits for these require you to register with the Department of Homeland Security and the Federal Department of Investigation. Explosives are illegal, unless you have a permit for them (and you need to have the correct permit level to purchase different grades of explosives).

Also, you can carry a concealed weapon without a permit (unless it's on grounds that do not allow weapons, such as schools), and cannons fall under the explosives category.

It is legal to own weapons of all kinds as long as they are not classified as destructive weapons/devices, and the owner is not a convicted felon (only applies to firearms) as it that right is granted in the Seventh Amendment of the Bill Of Rights of Sanctus Pacis. To own fully-automatic weapons, you must have a license however.

Under the 2nd Eternal Statute's clauses within the Codex Of Liberties section of the Confederal Constitution, the right to privately possess firearms is guaranteed to all Aleckandorean citizens who are over the minimum age of 15 years. No certain gun models have been outlawed as of the current time. When you legally purchase a gun from a licensed outlet, there is a six day waiting period before you can receive it (this is rarely enforced, especially in the relatively wild Zentral Yervhenn Viceregency). Despite all this freedom, though, the lax laws have contributed some to the gun-related crimes that plague the largest cities of the Confederacy.

Federal Law prohibits the Counties from banning firearms aside from fully-automatic weapons or handguns. Five out of sixteen counties have banned handguns and ten out of sixteen have banned fully automatic weapons.

in a nutshel: you want it, you make it yourself.

several things in cameroi are forbidden to be bought, sold or mass produced. guns being one of them.

nothing is forbidden to be owned or possessed by anyone who makes it themselves.

shake the box kits to just assemble them from are not available either. nearest thing would be rough casting that still need to be machined. i'm not too sure i'd want to fire a gun that was made from them though.

guns as a technology are generally considered obsolete anyway. as they are difficult to use effectively without causing death or perminent injury.

for hunting, self defense, and even markspersonship, far superior technologes are readily available.

Stealing guns from shops or duergar without paying is illegal but that's pretty much the only gun law we have.

We take the right to keep and bear arms seriously. There are no restrictions upon the purchase and ownership of weapons in Stolitland. None. Any individual who is currently free can own or possess firearms, regardless of their record. Individuals not fit for society shouldn't be free, and individuals fit for society shouldn't be discriminated against due to past indiscretions.

There is no license. There are no limits on weapon type. We have no laws barring carry, be it concealed or open. There are no laws regulating firearm accessories such as suppressors or ergonomic features. Yes, a five-year old could purchase a weapon of mass destruction, if he or she was capable of plunking down the cash for it. No, it historically has not been a problem for us as children typically lack the funds to purchase weapons without parental approval, and most people lack the funds to purchase nuclear devices or engineered bioweapons period.

We've received some complaints from neighboring nations about how individuals are able to purchase military-grade weaponry over the counter without so much as an I.D. It's legal for anyone, including tourists, to purchase anything, so neighboring countries have issues with weapons coming in from Stolitland. We treat these complaints seriously and gingerly place the diplomatic missives and certified letters in the Magical Round File emptied every night so as to facilitate a thorough investigation. We're nothing if not helpful.

In practice, Stolitland has an extremely high gun ownership rate. Our largest arms manufacturer is one of the largest in the world.

No-one owns a fiream here because the concept of property doesn't exist here, firearms are banned in the settlements, in fact the only people allowed to use firearms are Spetsnaz troops, and only during wartime, otherwise, they are kept in the Spetsnaz trooper's rooms aboard the ships, locked up securely in energy shilding 'safes' that require a code to deactivate the shielding.

"All Decepticons must bear two blasters of Standard strength or greater, or one blaster of Double strength or greater, permanently attached." ~Excerpt from the Minimum Design Specification of the Decepticon Body

That's our only weapons law, and it applies to everyone besides Foreign Intelligence agents. Covert agents are allowed to use detached, concealed weapons to avoid blowing their covers. They still must have weapons, though.
