There is an area called Nordkoreastan (North Korea town) that allows people to experience the life of a North Korean citizen (sans worshipping the regime that rules Nordkoreastan, or "Juche Regimen", not being allowed to leave/enter Nordkoreastan, executions, being associated with North Korea, and nukes). It is the result of a social experiment the Ministry of Welfare wanted to conduct in the late 80s, and is now owned by the township of Bergenheim. It is the size of a small city, and its population is around 5,750. As one would expect, it is an area that reminds one of boondocks, obeying communism as much as North Korea does, and with a wide disparity between government and people. People may register to live there for a minimum of one week, but may need to store personal belongings in a "locker room" (and can only get them when leaving), and, in exchange, gets basic supplies to start their North Korea-esque stay.
