This is not a hypothetical question, at least not in NationStates context.

I just created this nation, and my backstory, in a nutshell, is that a leader of a much larger nation has given the Kardashian sisters a small piece of his nation to rule themselves as a de-facto sovereign state. (A rough draft of the IC version of the story is in my in-game factbook’s “history” section.)

I’m under no delusion, I know that NO is going to win this poll in maybe the most massive landslide in the history of NationStates. But my objective isn’t to measure a yes-to-no ratio but to find out a raw number. Because the purpose of this poll is to determine what Kardashiana's RP population will be.

So, the question...

If you could, would you immigrate
to a nation ruled by Kim Kardashian?

FAQ 1: Is Kardashiana a democracy, or will it ever be?
Answer: No. It’s under Kim Kardashian’s absolute rule, with her sisters as her advisors, and so it will always be. (Beyond that, the nation's page prettymuch tells the story.)

FAQ 2: I hate my country, it is absolutely awful, and I would prefer to live absolutely anywhere else, but Kardashiana would be far, far from my first choice. So should I vote YES or NO?
Answer: It’s up to you, follow your conscience, but if I were you, I would probably vote NO.

And one last thing. I know the Kardashians are among the most controversial and reviled people on Earth. That’s why I created this nation, to be kind of a satirical pariah. So if you want to post a message here about how much you hate the Kardashians and their nation, go right ahead! It’s all material for the backstory. However, keep it clean, and no threats of violence.

Oh! I see. It's some human from an Earth on the other side of the Transdimensional Warp Point.

I sure wouldn't immigrate there. Decepticons are not interested in celebrities as such, and the idea of being under the rule of some human is not something we find at all enticing.

But you can probably count on a few Decepticons visiting, seeing as how she sued someone over a sex tape and managed to bilk them out of $5 million USD. That makes her an official conniver, so those hoping to get into the scamming business will want to check it out.

Why do we call that a scam? She posed for Playboy later, so obviously she wasn't really bothered by people seeing her bod in action.

She's also managed to get people to watch shows of her for no apparent reason, which also gives her some points.

Then she set up that short marriage, which many believe was just a publicity stunt. And it worked. She got oodles of publicity out of it.

Overall, we'd say she is probably intelligent and corrupt enough to decently run a government. "Decently" meaning that it will be able to enrich itself. Whether her people would see 2 cents of it remains to be seen, so we'd like to remind her that too much poverty can lead to both revolutions and a general inability to defend against invaders.

Also, the Biological Research Division would like a DNA sample from Ms. Kardashian. Our slaves are pretty ugly thanks to our total focus on their productivity, loyalty, and hardiness. Some slavers think we could start an international slave market if we improved their looks, and a little blood sample would allow us to port a bit of Kardashian's appearance to our stock.
