How did they come to power
In 1932 Alkoul had just been separated into three countries, West Guiana and Fantoa who gained their Independence after the Treaty of Alkoul in which the current Royal family would relinquish their control of the throne. The royal families name was Von Housker who had ruled Alkoul since the 1400s. In April of that year Edward Per'lon VI had always wanted to rule Alkoul and bring her back to the days of glory, so by July he had declared himself king of Alkoul. For the first few years Alkoul was an absolute monarchy under him, by the time of his death in 1987 Alkoul had a stable economy and strong currency. That year his second duaghetr La Millia VI was crowned queen until her death in 2011, in July her daughter Kelly was crowned. However though La Millia VIII was wed to Klike Von Housker in 1980.

The Per'lon family also includes, Edwards only son Lord Quin and his wife Duchess Sara who had on child, Sir Andrew and his wife Jennifer who also are the parents of Edward VII.
Edward VI was wed to Josephine De'lore in 1937, they had three children. Quin, Jennifer and La Millia.
La Millia and Klike had two childern, Houston V and Kelly.
Edward's VI first daughter Jennifer and wife Josephine was killed in a car crash in 1963 when they were driving home after shopping for a prom dress.
La Millia was murdered by her son Houston in April 2011 with a fatal gun shot to the head, Houston latter committed suicide in July that same year.

How did they come to power: The first monarch from the House of Bellegareuse was the second son of the penultimate monarch of the House of Ismélle, who had been created Sovereign Duke of Bellegareuse by his father. How did they come to power? The Empire's history can be divided into three periods. The First Empire, which ended around 2900 years ago, the Batory Queendom (after a short period of extreme contraction and multi-sided warfare), and the Second Empire, which is the current regime, beginning around 1500 years ago. While this may suggest that at some point the Batorys fell from power, this is not the case. At all points, the Batory clan maintained control over their original territory, but at the fall of the First Empire lost most of their additional holdings. A different branch of the clan rules now than during the First Empire. How they rose to power in the first place is unknown, as no records are (publicly) known to exist from the period in which the First Empire had its origins. However, scholars theorize that at one time, the Batorys were simply a local moroii clan, who realized that it would be much easier if they made a truce with the local non-moroii human population, blood for protection. After this point, it is further theorized that the lack of combat with their former prey enabled the Batorys to look outward, from which point expansion was constant, if slow, until the First Empire ended. The current ruling branch of the Batory Clan simply won out in the warfare that followed, ruling their territory as a Queendom until it grew large enough and powerful enough that in 575, it declared itself the Second Empire.
How long have they been in power? There are no records from the very early years of the First Empire. The oldest records publicly known to exist date from over five thousand years ago, and refer to the Empire as already having been in existence for quite some time. Estimates range from six thousand to nine or even ten thousand years.
Other important info: Since the Empire began simply as the Batory Clan's tribal holding, legally it has always been considered to be, to some degree, the property of the Empress (the Batory clan is matriarchal, and the Empress is simply their ruling female). Considering this, it's unsurprising that the Empress reserves absolute power over the domain, though quite a bit of local autonomy is allowed. The Batory clan are to a member devoutly pagan, taking Ithtyr (goddess of lust, vengeance, the earth, moroii, and death) as their patron deity.

How did they come to power?: When Northorpe gained independence it was decided to keep the old system of government, but it was found unfitting of a sovereign state to swear allegiance to a foreign king. Therefore, the National Council elected the discoverer of Northope and founder of Somerset, the capital, Walter Albert Somerset, to the new throne of Northope. He fills mainly administrative duties, but enjoys some control over the affairs of the state (approval of laws, appointment of Members to the Privy Council, declaring war or other state events). Of course, His Majesty has not yet refused a proposed decree of the National Council, a precedent that the Kingdom of Northorpe hopes to keep.

How long have they been in power? Recently (less than 5 years).
Other important info: It is important to note that His Majesty King Walter the First does not have a royal family as of yet. Also, the King cannot be forced to abdicate; however, should the National Council feel that it is imperative that a decree be passed and the decree is found to be constitutional and popular through plebiscites, they can pass the law for a limited amount of time (5 years), after which the decree is annulled and must undergo the same review procedure.
