An Analysis of the Collapse of Our Mother Country

Yesterday's events have displayed the beginning of the collapse of New Dallsiph's mother country, Dallsiph with the granted autonomy of South Dallsiph. Experts in Terrakaneva suspect that Dallsiph is on the verge of economic and political collapse, as Dallsiph's assembly toils with President Perichov in the struggle to improve the nation. Many in Dallsiph are beginning to resent the inefficiency of Port Sankirita's bureaucracy, and separatist movements have sprung across the country. Dallsiph used to be revered as one of the most important nations in the world with an exemplary political system and efficiency, but since Perichov took office, everything has gone downhill in Dallsiph. Most Dallsiphians as well as New Dallsiphians believe that the problems that have occurred during Perichov's presidency were problems that existed before he took office. Dallsiph's military has also shrunk significantly, along with its healthcare and welfare programs that the nation was so revered for. These effects were enforced by the Assembly, and not by Perichov. Dallsiph has moved significantly on the political spectrum, further away from libertarian socialism and closer to what is considered moderatism.

When people like Farimorno rise to power and rally Dallsiphians to support him as their supreme ruler, terrible events have happened in Dallsiph. Dallsiph is supposed to be one of the most educated nations in the world and it's a shock when the region of South Dallsiph prefers autonomy under a dictator rather than representation in Port Sankirita. This autonomy could bode for terrible events that could terminate the survival of Dallsiph's union, because Farimorno is open to trade with Future Incorporated, a corporation that Port Sankirita and Perichov has several disagreements with. If a war occurs between Future Guards, the hosts of Future Incorporated, and Dallsiph, South Dallsiph would either secede and fight alongside Future Incorporated, or it would end its trade with Future Incorporated, damaging the local economy, and fight alongside Dallsiph.

Yenina Strikes, Leaving Shmanov and Dantovich Supporters Speechless

Tonight at a public rally, Alexandra Yenina attacked both Shmanov and Dantovich, who appear to have more support than Yenina so far in this election. Her attacks on Shmanov left the crowd stunned as she said the following:

"How more destructive can you get than to follow in Dallsiph's footsteps and accept major corporations in New Dallsiph? I assume you plan to buy your arms from them too, or am I mistaken and you will create corporations to create weapons? The only way we can strengthen our economy and build a stronger military at the same time is by buying weapons from corporations. If you buy them elsewhere, you will take jobs from New Dallsiphians, or you will allow corporations to use them as resources here. If you make them here, we will either have to spend some taxpayer money on creating these weapons, and the people who are making the weapons will push the war agenda so they could make more bank. Also, do you care more about money than about people? We have a 21% employment rate, and you want to improve the value of the jarka? We need to get people jobs, then we can worry about raising the value of our currency..."

One thing Yenina left out of her speech was the fact that a part of Shmanov's Domestic Agenda is creating more jobs. Yenina did not exempt Dantovich from criticism either, but she focused on his Pro-Dallsiph policy. Her criticisms are as followed:

"Dantovich, I can agree with you a lot more than I could agree with Shmanov, but you leave me very puzzled with your Pro-Dallsiph policies. Do you really want to stick with standing by a crumbling nation? If you read the news yesterday, South Dallsiph has gained autonomy from the rest of the Union [Dallsiph] (read here for NDD's analysis of South Dallsiph's autonomy). And this autonomous state is run by a pro-capitalist dictator [Timur Farimorno] who is opening trade with Future Incorporated. Right now, the rest of Dallsiph is in a battle with Future Incorporated, and Farimorno is making the battle even harder on Dallsiph. Yes, I agree we should definitely have better relations with the International Community, but that does not mean we reach our hand out to the Motherland, drowning in the chaos she created. It would be like running straight into a tornado..."

She continued on a rant about her criticisms of Dantovich's pro-Dallsiph policy for a few minutes, but made a smooth transition into promoting her own politics.

"One of the things I commend Dantovich for is his focus on education. We need more education in New Dallsiph, and I have no arguments with that. We need to educate ourselves to be freethinkers, and to have independent thoughts. This could lead to better jobs in New Dallsiph, and a more productive society as a whole. So far the socialist dream is coming true, and if I'm elected, it will only get better. If Shmanov ruins that for us, we might as well join the sinking Dallsiph ship. We don't need more weapons - we need progress. Progress comes from our children thinking of new ideas that our generation could not imagine, progress comes from everybody being able to come home with a decent paycheck so that they may not only feed their family, but be able to spend liesure time with them on the weekends. If we the people succeed, I will make the cities an attractive place to live. We will improve the urban culture by employing people in work projects to improve the run-down neighborhoods in Terrakaneva. We will create a more efficient public transportation system - one with decent seating that will get you to work on time..."

Tomorrow we will most likely hear responses from the other 2 candidates to Yenina's attacks.

Yenina "The Lioness" Picks Up Support - Shmanov Responds

Last night, Alexandra Yenina gave the provocative speech that has gained her a few votes. The biggest victim of her attacks was Amur Shmanov. This morning we managed to get a hold of Shmanov to see how he responds to these attacks. Our correspondent, Polina Revnina interviewed Shmanov this morning, which is featured below.

PR: "Good morning Mr Shmanov. Thank you for offering your time"

AS: "Good morning. Thank you for having me"

PR: "I am assuming you have at least heard of Yenina's speech last night, am I right?"

AS: "Yes of course. In fact I watched it last night, because I knew I was going to be the main victim of the speech. I definitely cannot say I agree with her."

PR: "Explain"

AS: "The shortest way I can explain this is that she is very rational, but she is not a realist. Her ideas make perfect sense, I agree with them in theory, but they're not realistic. If we try to encourage other countries to regulate their capitalist economies, we will need an army to back our words. We live in a dangerous world right now where safety and security must be taken into account if we want to make a big show in the international community. Let's say we condemn Future Guards for hosting Future Incorporated, one of the largest automobile and weapons manufacturing corporations in the world. We will definitely need to have some sort of army that could impede them in the case of a war response, which is very realistic."

PR: "Well one thing she remarked last night was that in your international agenda you mentioned being less discriminate to trade with corporations. Her twist on this was that you would allow these corporations to take New Dallsiphians into their workforce to continue working for them. Would you say this is true?"

AS: "Not at all. Fear mongering is my biggest problem with Yenina so far. Right now New Dallsiph has limited her international market significantly by not trading with nations that have major corporations. As president, I would not allow corporations to start factories and employ workers from New Dallsiph to use them as human resources; that accusation is just absurd. What I would do is allow corporations to trade products manufactured in other countries here in New Dallsiph. The most they will be able to do is sell their products to our markets, and people will be able to purchase them there. And I would definitely tax these corporations for these products so that it improves our economy, which is what my main focus is all about."

PR: "Speaking of that, Yenina last night also implied that you wanted to improve the value of the jarka before getting jobs. Is this true?"

AS: "For the most part, no. Improving the value of the jarka comes last in my agenda. It would be something I would focus on as soon as we get most New Dallsiphians employed. She must think I'm a capitalist of sorts if she really believes that I would put that first. Fear mongering is the worst so far out of this lioness's campaign, and I hope she finds other ways to criticize Dantovich and me."

PR: "Do you agree with her criticisms of Dantovich?"

AS: "I actually agree with them completely. Dantovich seems to be attached to his birth country, and wants to improve our relations with it, but I only see Dallsiph as a collapsing Union. South Dallsiph has broken away into a capitalist dictatorship, and unrest seems to be appearing throughout the country. I like his education and science approach, as well as his stance on improving involvement with the international community, but his stance with Dallsiph worries me."

PR: "Alright that is all we have to ask you today. Thanks for devoting your time to this interview."

AS: "The pleasure is mine. Thank you for hosting me."

And that is all we have for you on this story, and we hope to get a response from Dantovich in the near future.

Dallsiph's Union Collapses

A few days after South Dallsiph declared itself autonomous to the Democratic Socialist Union of Dallsiph, the National Assembly in Port Sankirita ceased to function, leading to riots all across Dallsiph. Several independence movements sparked in the region, each suggesting a new government for their region. Sankirita Major was the only state where the majority of the population wanted the restore the government and to keep the Union intact. However, Sankirita Major was not able to influence the views of other Dallsiphians. According to political analysts from Dallsiph, the Union collapsed, because the National Assembly attempted to accomodate people with various political views and needs. In addition, the National Assembly took drastic measures to restore the value of the jarka, but it only ended up creating a larger problem for the Union. What used to be Dallsiph is now divided into 4 nations: Sankirita, Ninforia, Chinchasia, and South Dallsiph.

According to Port Sankirita's new government, Sankirita is a socialist republic with the goal of not allowing the same chaos that destroyed the Union to repeat itself. Sankirita's government plans to do this by applying strict regulations to the market. For a start, all property in Sankirita is owned by the government, but the government will provide services for the people in return. The question still remains concerning free speech in Sankirita. Currently free speech has been slightly curbed, but many fear and suspect that it will decrease even more over time.

Ninforia is a theocracy run by the Knights of Ninfor, the clergy body of Levinicism, the dominant religion in Ninforia. The theocracy is run under Levinicist Law by the Knights of Ninfor. Levinicism was repressed under the Union, because the Baha'i Faith was recognized as the main religion in Dallsiph and the Knights of Ninfor launched one of the first independence movements in response.

The last country to secede from Dallsiph was Chinchasia, which declares itself to be a direct democracy with no definite government. Most libertarian socialist Dallsiphians immigrated to Chinchasia during the civil conflict that ended the Union. As popular as the new model for the nation is to the people, several wonder how long Chinchasia will be able to survive as a country.

Tyranny in Dallsiph's New Nations

Today we have featured with us 3 different immigrants. Each have their story from their country, which was founded out of Dallsiph's collapse. We have Galina Venichara from Ninforia, Dima Ruslikov from Sankirita, and Jura Baraton from South Dallsiph.

After the collapse of Dallsiph Galina was living in Ninfor, the capital of Ninforia, and she gave us permission to write her story about her days living there. She everything began in a swift movement. After South Dallsiph declared autonomy, Ninforia was one of the first regions to ask for independence. The majority of Ninforia's population is Levinicist, a religion that was founded over 2000 years ago in the region of Ninforia. The Knights of Ninfor, what she describes as Levinicist fanatics rose as the loudest voice for independence in Ninfor. They wanted to create a country that follows Levinicism in a strict manner. Even before South Dallsiph gained autonomy, there was a lot of public resentment of the government in Port Sankirita. People wanted independence, and when South Dallsiph became autonomous, the Knights of Ninfor began the independence movement that took over the entire region. More secular independence movements rose as well, but the Knights of Ninfor sent attacks against their leaders, which intimidated the majority of the population to follow the Knights of Ninfor. By the time Ninfor gained independence, the Knights of Ninfor had complete control over Ninforians. There goals began with the request of a Levinicist government, but later it became more fanatical, and even racist. Native Dallsiphians such as Galina were targeted by the government for persecution. Their reasons were for Dallsiph's annexation of Ninforia several hundred years ago. The Knights of Ninfor claimed that Levinicists faced persecution throughout all of these years, and this was merely payback. Galina was fortunate to have escaped Ninforia, and reached an independent port, which sent a ship of emigrants to New Dallsiph.

Dima's story is about the rise of tyranny that occurred in Sankirita, and how radically different life is in Port Sankirita than it was a month ago. A month ago, life in Port Sankirita was chaotic, and lacked proper organization. People in Port Sankirita wanted their government to make positive changes. The economy had crashed in Dallsiph, and several jobs were lost. The National Assembly gave more power to the free market in order to repair the economy, but this only led to corruption and crime. The former traditionally socialist country had become more capitalist, and even more jobs were lost in local businesses. People were beginning to become skeptical, as they watched the autonomy of South Dallsiph occurred, followed by independence movements across the country. The region of Sankirita Major was the only region where independence was not requested. Most people in Sankirita Major just wanted the government to reorganize the chaos in Dallsiph. When the National Assembly shut down, there was outrage and nothing but anarchy. People were fighting amongst one another, and there was no police to help the people. Out of the chaos arose Victor Krulov, a wealthy former-congressman of the National Assembly from Dallsiph's Communist Party. The Communist Party were the conservatives of Dallsiph, who wanted to restore the old, stricter socialism that existed in Dallsiph decades ago. Krulov promised the prosperous days of Dallsiph when there was order, security, and freedom. The people supported him, and nominated him as the premier of Sankirita. When he came to power, everything changed very fast. Order was being restored, the police were back, and the military began to grow. Over the course of a few weeks, freedom of speech was removed from the people, with the excuse that freedom of speech led to instability. It became clear that Krulov was determined to establish a totalitarian communist order on the people. Millions of people wanted to leave Port Sankirita immediately, but due to the city planning of Port Sankirita, which designed to protect the people, military bases and police headquarters surrounded the city. The police and the military crushed the rebellions, and thousands were arrested or executed. After that there was nothing left but fear for the people. There was no communication with the outside world, because earlier the people agreed to creating an Internet system for Sankirita, separate from the world Internet system. All connection to the global Internet system was destroyed, and the only Internet people could access was Sankirita's Internet, which had constant government surveillance, and only government approved websites. It was hard for Dima to escape, but he had a friend in the military, who allowed him to board a Sankiritan vessel headed towards New Dallsiph for trade. When it arrived in Terrakaneva, he stepped on New Dallsiphian soil, which effectively made it illegal for Sankirita's government to force him to return.

Victor Krulov during a recent meeting with Vice-President Ruslan Dantovich.

The last story is from Jura, who fled South Dallsiph in search of a new home. According to Jura the autonomous movement began years ago, back when Dallsiph was more socialist, and the region taking the biggest toll on Dallsiph's socialist economy was South Dallsiph. Most of the wealth generated went to support those in Port Sankirita, and South Dallsiph barely reaped the benefits of their own production. Timur Farimorno, a businessman's son started speeches that questioned Port Sankirita's economic ideas. Farimorno began an independence movement a couple of years ago, ran against Darius Perichov for the presidency in 2011, but lost by a landslide. Therefore, he focused on getting South Dallsiph independent, or at least autonomous. Therefore, he settled with autonomy, and Dallsiph agreed to allow him to rule South Dallsiph as a dictator. Farimorno did a lot of good things for South Dallsiph, such as recover the economy, but he did not give any political freedom to South Dallsiphians. Farimorno was the first and last person to have any say on any issue, and everything went by Farimorno's words. However, before Farimorno restricted travel to South Dallsiph, Jura boarded a plane for New Dallsiph.

Vice President Ruslan Dantovich Arrives in Cylarn

This afternoon, Vice President Ruslan Dantovich arrived in Bastion, greeted by Cylarnian Government Security Service Agents, and directed to Presidential Banquet. Dantovich appears to be the first guest to the banquet, and with his time he personally greeted President Bulger. This is the first time the well traveled vice president has left World Union, and it will be interesting to hear his reactions to the banquet after a few days, but here's his initial reaction to the Cylarn, its capital Bastion, and President Bulger.

"Bulger and I have conversed with one another, as he extended his invite to [President] Sasha [Yenina], but he seemed a lot more formal then than now. He offered me a drink, but I forgot to tell him that I am a Baha'i, and I'm not supposed to drink. However, Cylarnians are very friendly, and very sociable. It's interesting to see how a different country functions, and this is very similar to a lot of countries I've been to before, but nothing like New Dallsiph. From what I saw, Bastion is a very beautiful city, and I'm planning on taking a small tour after the first round of discussions. Besides that, there's not much else to say other than I'm enjoying myself so far and look forward to what there is to come."

For now, we are waiting to hear what this Banquet will hold for the future of New Dallsiph, and its role in the world community. This story will be followed by our top team for international coverage, with New Dallsiph's top political analysts, linguists, and global experts.

Tensions Grow Between Sankirita and South Dallsiph

While Vice-President Dantovich is attending the Presidential Banquet in Cylarn, Premier Victor Krulov of Sankirita begins to make threats against South Dallsiph, and its leader, Timur Farimorno. Rivalries between the 2 dictators have been growing since Dallsiph's collapse. Krulov has claimed that Farimorno "pushed Dallsiph off the edge of its survival." Krulov also stated that he "will bring Farimorno to justice, and liberate his people from the insidious slime they call a leader." Krulov's claims can be backed by Sankirita's military spending, which comprises 32% of Sankirita's entire spending. However, Future Guards has stated that it will support Farimorno if Sankirita initiates a war with South Dallsiph. However, Krulov has not withdrawn his threats so far, which may lead to a major war in former Dallsiph.

On the other side of the story, Farimorno has been threatened by these claims, as he is watches his unlimited power fade away. Many critics of Farimorno have stated that he follows Farmornian state capitalism, where every corporation in South Dallsiph is indirectly controlled by the state. His grasp of control over South Dallsiph has gradually loosened, but Krulov's threats have forced him to compromise his ideal standards. Earlier today, Farimorno stated, "South Dallsiph fought for autonomy, followed by independence, and we will fight to keep it." Farimorno has developed closer ties to Future Guards and Future Incorporated, and has given Future Incorporated exceptional rights in the free market, as Future Incorporated is supplying weapons and defense to South Dallsiph. At the same time Future Guards is providing military support to help defend South Dallsiph's border.

We have not heard anything pertaining to the situation from Vice-President Dantovich or President Yenina about what stance New Dallsiph will take in this conflict. It is possible that New Dallsiph will remain neutral, or possibly provide support to either side of the conflict. Neither regime is supported by New Dallsiph. However, Vice-President Dantovich visited Port Sankirita to meet Victor Krulov, and still has yet to do that with Timur Farimorno. As events unfold, New Dallsiph Daily will be providing more information about the story.

Update on Presidential Banquet

Today we have an update from Vice-President Ruslan Dantovich [RD] about the Presidential Banquet in Bastion, Cylarn. Featured below is an exclusive interview between the vice-president and our correspondent, Andrei Sanorov [AS].

AS: How has the progress of the banquet gone?
RD: It's been going very well. Earlier President Bulger asked me about affairs in New Dallsiph. At the time, there was not much going concerning New Dallsiph and her interests, but earlier today I told him about the situation between Sankirita and South Dallsiph. At the moment he seemed to be in a rush, but he told me he'd get back to me on that.

AS: What is your opinion on the situation between South Dallsiph and Sankirita?
RD: Right now, I think New Dallsiph should remain neutral. We have better trade relations with Sankirita than South Dallsiph, which doesn't necessarily mean we're going to support Sankirita in the case of a conflict. What we're keeping an eye on is Future Guards, and making sure they don't make the relations worse. Only if Future Guards initiates the attack, we will support Sankirita.

AS: What do you think of the other leaders who are attending the Banquet?
RD: From my very brief conversation with King Charles VIII and Queen Lily V of Constaniana, they to be very nice people, despite New Dallsiph's opinion on monarchies. Demotskiz, a delegate from Zottistan and I get along very well. Zottistan is not much different from New Dallsiph, but they take their socialism far more seriously than we do, which is very respectable. Giovanni Orseolo IV of San Maraschino greeted me while he was clearly buzzed, and offered me a drink, and got slightly offended when I refused. I hope he's not holding a grudge for that. President Cooper seemed very stressed out. I felt very bad for him when we were talking about events in our countries, but hopefully things will get better for him.

AS: Are you considering opening trade with any of these countries?
RD: I'm thinking that after the Banquet, we might discuss the possibility of trade with Zottistan if Demotskiz and Tzenovitch are interested, and definitely with Cylarn. I'm not sure about anyone else so far, but over time, we'll see.

AS: Well thank you Mr. Vice-President.
RD: Sure, anytime.

Assassination Attempt on Farimorno - South Dallsiph Points Fingers at Sankirita

The drums of war beat in former Dallsiph as we hear a report from Fekara City stating that 2 hours ago there was an attempted assassination on Timur Farimorno, the infamous dictator of South Dallsiph. Roughly 45 minutes ago, Future Guards experts have reported that the assassin was Sankiritan, putting more pressure on Farimorno to initiate war. So far, Victor Krulov has not claimed Sankirita's responsibility for the assassination, but regardless, Farimorno has mobilized South Dallsiph in preparation for war with Sankirita. Future Guards have publicly announced that they will support South Dallsiph if it decides to go to war with Sankirita, which puts pressure on New Dallsiph to take action.

Earlier this week, President Yenina has publicly stated that New Dallsiph will support Sankirita in a war against South Dallsiph only if the war is initiated by Future Guards. Currently, it is unclear whether or not Future Guards had in fact initiated the war, and officially Sankirita has initiated the war. There are several conspiracy theories circling throughout the region and New Dallsiph stating the assassination attempt was done by Future Guards, in order to frame Sankirita as responsible, causing a war between South Dallsiph and Sankirita. Among the conspiracy theorists is the president herself, and she has stated that New Dallsiph will remain neutral until evidence is provided that Future Guards initiated the war with Sankirita. We have yet to hear from Vice-President Dantovich, as he is currently attending the Presidential Banquet in Cylarn. However, we have heard from the vice-president that he will be arriving to New Dallsiph sooner than he had planned. If necessary, he might bring the topic of the South Dallsiph-Sankirita Crisis to the table in Bastion. For now, anything could happen.

Dantovich's Lead Victory Gets Challenged By Rhetoric From Shatlina and Yukantov

So far in this election, Vice-President Ruslan Dantovich leads with a 51% majority, against his 2 rivals MNA Marina Shatlina, and MNA Jeremy Yukantov. Despite this clear support for their mutual opponent, Shatlina and Yukantov continue to push their race for the presidency, as they both take a stab at the vice-president's foreign policy. Yesterday during a press conference, Shatlina blasted the vice-president for his interventionist position regarding the Dallsiph region.

"I have one question for the vice-president, why do we still need to have a military presence in the Dallsiph region? There hasn't been a war in a while, and South Dallsiph's government has even changed since that war occurred. We're wasting our taxes on creating armies that don't even focus on our foreign policy concerns, and the vice-president wants us to further increase our military presence in the region. I think its time we moved out and gave the countries of the Dallsiph region the respect and dignity to make their own decisions, and stopped taking sides in their conflict. It's clear we have a bias for Sankirita, which is a socialist dictatorship, not a democracy, and we also are developing a bias for South Dallsiph, which also lacks a democratic government. I don't know why we support these countries, but if we are to support them, I say it's time we allow trade with Ninforia, and with Toomphsdale, which has a more democratic government than Sankirita or South Dallsiph."

Similarly, Yukantov also criticized the Vice-President's foreign policy in an interview, but with a different twist.

"Right now we have troops in Dallsiph instead of troops at home. Neither of the governments we are supporting are democratic; one of them has a dictator who promised peace and stability in return for their consent to his authoritarian rule, another has a government uses the encouragement conformity and a lack of opposition to the system as a basis to their government's structure. Both of these are appalling systems, and we shouldn't support either of them, even if Toomphsdale decides to knock on their back doors with an army. I say we add them to the same category as Toomphsdale and Ninforia, and refuse to trade with them, or support them. We need to focus on our own domestic policy and direct foreign affairs instead of meddling with those of others."

Despite the similar stances on foreign policy between Shatlina and Yukantov, the MNA's have taken stabs at each other, and at other policies of Dantovich. Yesterday at the same press conference, Shatlina shared her economic policy, which contrasts sharply with both Dantovich and Yukantov.

"Do you know how the world views our economic status? They view it as "fair". Not good, but fair. Our economy has reached points where the international community ranked it with 67 out of 100 points, and currently we stand with 26 points. Whatever we are doing, we are doing it wrong. There's not enough economic opportunity in New Dallsiph for anyone to create any businesses that could bolster our economic position and remove us from the laughing stock of major powers. This would mean cutting taxes to social policy, which does nothing but redistribute the wealth and take from those who are successful. We would also need to cut welfare, so that people can be more independent and pursue entrepreneurship. Dantovich supports the current economic situation we have, and Yukantov wants to further regulate our economy, but I stand for economic freedom and a stronger economy."

Yukantov similarly shared his economic policy, criticizing Shatlina's position.

"Unlike Shatlina, I don't think we need anymore economic freedom. As you can see with Toomphsdale for example, economic freedom can lead to social oppression. The regulations we have in place are essential to prevent large corporations from taking advantage of the New Dallsiphian people. Yes, our economic stance may not be as high as others, but that's because we're using our economic power to support the New Dallsiphian people. I agree that we might need to loosen taxes, but we should only lower taxes regarding defense spending. All of our other taxes are essential in order to sustain the programs we have today. And our welfare system is not one that discourages people from pursuing entrepreneurship - it's one that makes sure that they have the right support to be able to pursue it. Nobody stays on welfare for too long, and it's a good safety net for those who face economic hardships. And our social policy is what keeps us from becoming a society with social classes."

One of the biggest controversies of Yukantov's agenda is his immigration policy. While being asked about it in an interview he justified his position.

"Oddly enough, our immigration policy actually hurts the international community more than it helps it. Those who don't want to live in Toomphsdale's, Ninforia's, Sankirita's, or even South Dallsiph's oppressive societies come here to New Dallsiph, because we don't have the same problems as the other noted countries do. This may seem like a good thing, but I don't see it in the same light. Because people who oppose their governments are coming over here, they aren't doing anything to promote social justice in their own countries. If we restrict immigration from those countries, people will begin to fight for change in their own countries, and these tyrannical regimes would have to adjust to the needs and desires of their people if they want to continue to stand. Most of Krulov's opposition in Sankirita fled to New Dallsiph when he came to power. Just imagine what Sankirita would be like, if they couldn't come here. Also, speaking of Krulov, I refuse to overlook his authoritarian rule just because he has a socialist economy. If he allowed more political freedom, then maybe I will consider opening up trade with him. Otherwise, I wouldn't."

We will see how these criticisms to Vice-President Dantovich's position will change the election as it stands right now, and New Dallsiph Daily.
