Government: The tribes of the Fiduse and Disuse, are a semi independent collection of interconnected clans ruled by an elder council headed by an semi elected chief, generally the next chief is always the previously ones son/daughter, the chief rules for life. The two largest and most powerful tribes are the Fiduse(Mongol rip offs) and Disuse(Vikings basically) with a number of smaller tribes rising and falling in importance.

Cities: The Fiduse have no permanent settlements, living in one area until the hunting starts to dry then moving onto greener pastures. The Disuse have a few ports with the largest being Ymirblod with a population of four thousand most of the rest are scattered among the lands living in isolated farms, coming together only in great times of need. There are also a few mining settlements in the northern lands mainly ranging in size of a few hundred.
Climate: The inner lands are warm during most months with perfect amount of moisture to produce wide ranging and lush grasslands, the coast is cold and clammy raining or snowing nine times out of ten. Crops can only be grown in small agriculture belt in the northern part of the lands and only during a brief warm period.
Military: There is no former standing military. During times of great stress/invasion the elder council can call on each individual clan to send warriors, generally this is a few dozen individuals equipped in a variety of different guises, only the wealthy have any real armor or metal weapons. The middle/lowers have leather jerkins/armor, some arrows and a bow and possibly a knife. A few times in their history, a particularly strong leader has united the Fiduse and Disuse into a true fighting force using a coordination of combined arms forces. Though they are famous for their horse archers, their lance forces were equally skilled and just as essential to their success. Diuse contributed forces using their engineers in battle. They used siege engines and rockets to disrupt enemy formations, confused enemy forces with smoke, and used smoke to isolate portions of an enemy force while destroying that force to prevent their allies from sending aid. Today due to weaken leadership the clans mostly raid across the sea in barely organized raids...
Religion: Many Fiduse worship a variety of sky gods and goddesses, the Disuse water based gods and goddesses. There are few formal temples of either variety and they sometimes cross specially in river gods, both sides generally respect each others deities of choice though tensions have flared up time to time.
