Car Explodes in New Carlingford Square

A car bomb attack was detonated this morning in the middle of New Carlingford. It is suspected that radical communist group, For the CCCP! are behind the attack. The blast killed 84 people and injured 381. Other casualties were 2 stores, a restaurant and 3 cars. An inquiry into the attack will be carried out tomorrow with also a clean up of the debris and rubble. The supreme chancellor this evening condemned the group for the attack vows that they will be caught.

Following the attack, the center of the city was evacuated with a risk of more attacks. So far no such attacks have taken place but the civilian alert level is severe.

Pirate Ship Sunk

A pirate ship earlier today was spotted by a Carlossian patrol off the coast of Madrussica. The fleet immediately engaged and after a short battle sunk the ship without any damage. The sailors are to be decorated for bravery in a special ceremony in two days time. It will be attended by all the generals, admiral, the supreme chancellor and the president who will give the medals to the 257 sailors.

Military Parade a Huge Success

700,000 soldiers from across the ACSN participated in a huge military parade in New Carlingford at noon today. The parade lasted 3 hours and consisted of the Carlossian army, the Lenehenese army, the New Babylonian army, the Rocotian army, the Mercurean army and many others. The parade ended with a 21 gun salute to the lives lost in the first Anti-communist war and a fly over by the Carlossian air force.

Sailors Decorated for Bravery

The 257 sailors that participated in the sinking of the pirate ship yesterday were decorated for bravery after the military parade and was attended by the supreme chancellor and many other leaders from the other nations of the ACSN. The ceremony was attended by dozens of generals and admirals and high general, Harry Richmond made a speech to the sailors honoring them.

Carloso Joins the UEF!

Carloso was accepted into the UEF a few hours ago. The supreme chancellor sent a request yesterday to join the UEf and was quickly accepted by the head of the organization. The supreme chancellor confirmed its acceptance several hours ago and announced a national holiday each year on the 29th of January.

Town Declares Independence

The town of San Trato earlier today declared independence from Carloso. The town of 492 people, according to the most recent census declared independence at 09:10 this morning when their leader, President Harry Yaltov read their constitution on steps of the parliament. The nation has little industry but it has being aided by another micro nation, The Monarchy of Raland, a nation of 9,253 with a bustling economy and many industries that has begun trading with Carloso.

Ship in Air!

Just yesterday morning, the launching of the Armoured Space Ship 'Star-Strye' recieved applause from all 498 million loyal citizens of the Empire. It's purpose is to house the most important figures of the parliament, and the Dictator himself (Currently Thomas Blake). It was tested to withstand ICBM's and NBM's with minimum damage- clearly the most armoured Ship in the Empires arsenal. The launch island, the island of Dusseldorf, was granted $250m to continue to produce succesful, and strategic Aircraft and Space Bourne Craft in Project 'X'. The -Third- Panzermmee is the owner.

Smugglers Caught on Border

A group of cocaine smugglers were caught earlier today when they were spotted by the guards here the border between Carloso and Celeken. It resulted in a half hour car chase until the smugglers were forced into a bog and became trapped. They are ordered to appear at New Carlingford District Court on Friday. They are currently staying in the Toro Judicial Detainment Center.

Air-force Buys More Helicopters

Due to the few number of helicopters left after the First Anti-Communist War, the government plans on buying 1,700 helicopters. The minister for Defense announced that he would also plan on upgrading the helicopters upon arrival. Most will be both from Carlossian firm, Carlossian Military Arms and Kings Island.

Kalarian President Nearly Assassinated

The Kalarian president earlier today was nearly killed in an attempt of his life. The assassin was on a grassy knoll, luckily the car had a roof and still the bullet almost went through. The army we caught the assassin on the grassy knoll, it could have come from a building but the window people thought the shot came from, you couldnt even see the car.

Carloso's Newest Wind farm Opens

The president today opened Carloso's biggest wind farm in the Carlossian desert. The wind farm consists of 958 wind turbines. The ceremony was attended by 3 company executives each getting a share of 950 turbines while the remaining 8 were nationalized. The wind farm will power 4 million homes of 8 million people in the west of Carloso.

Carloso Declares War!

Carloso has declared war on the UCN due to a border clash yesterday that killed 295 Carlossian soldiers. The first attack is to take place tomorrow on Tejen. It is understood that the other members of Th ACSN are backing Carloso's decision for invasion and are expected send peacekeeping and military units to the communist nation which collapsed in November last year when the chancellor was ousted from power after a month long invasion operation that killed over 70,000 soldiers and civilians. Aid was offered but no contact could be made with the different tribes and communities.

Carloso Attacks

Carloso today began Operation: Soaring Eagle in Tejen with the launching of 5,000 tanks at 8:00 NCSG (New Carlingford State Time) approximately 5 km from the city. The strike force have secured the area around the city and are continuing airstrikes and aerial bombardments.

The Rocotian Broadcasting Company February 10th 2012

On February 9th at approximately 9:00 Rocotian Main Time (RMT) all government buildings connected to the tram where locked down. A passenger entered the tram using the president's key-code. The president was in the National Assembly at the time and his wife had just been permitted to use it as a guest. Once the miss-accounting for passengers was noticed, the buildings where immediately locked down. The buildings are still currently locked down. No further details have been released.
