The civil liberties of the homosexual community are just as ridiculously extensive as the civil liberties of the heterosexual community; the right to marry etc. being included in such liberties. In retrospect they are probably even more extensive due to the protectionist laws in effect that defend the community from abuse and discrimination.

Presently no State in Glenmere allows homosexual marriages, and both the Congress and the Supreme Court have declined to interfere on this issue. Federally, gays have always been legally denied military service, and adoption is right out at all levels.

We consider homosexuality immoral and unnatural. Engaging in homosexual acts carries the death penalty in our nation.

The entire alphabet is fine. Some people are ugly and sketchy, so we warn the kids to stay away from them, and they usually don't get the really good jobs. Other than that, unless they come marching through the food court wih their stupid signs, nobody cares much.

Nadir has no homosexuals. All Nadirian homosexuals have been removed from the country by the International Population Relief Program. Nadir vows to further pursue this policy since homosexuals are intent on appropriating the rainbow - Nadir's chief export commodity - as the symbol of its community.

Homosexuality and heterosexuality are looked upon equally, and both catagories enjoy the same rights. However, in the military it is against the law to express sexuality among your fellow servicemen, whether you are hetero or homosexual. There is no room for sexual expression when you have some of the most important duties to carry out in the country. Sexual expression of any sort is to be reserved for off duty.

Unnatural sexual acts are forbidden. However, since we have a strong tradition of privacy, generally only public sex acts (or public solicitation for unnatural sex acts) are prosecuted. The only penalty for unnatural sex acts between consenting adults is psychotherapy, however.

The Federal Republic, for a relatively conservative country, is fairly liberal when it comes to civil rights for gays and lesbians. Most states sanction same-sex marriages, and the few that don't at the very least offer domestic-partner benefits. As the nation is not hopelessly obsessed with sexuality as the media and politicians in your regular, run-of-the-mill conservative democracies, most citizens of Omigodtheykilledkenny don't care if gays and lesbians share the same marriage freedoms as everyone else. The status quo, however, is not universally accepted, as many conservative activists -- a committed minority, to be sure -- seek to revoke marriage rights in the states that extend them and revert to civil union status. They have had little success.

As for military service, gays and lesbians are allowed to serve openly, though unofficially gay and lesbian soldiers are discouraged from making their sexual orientation public. As this has been the arrangement for some years now, gay activists have little incentive to raise hell and join the armed services just to make a political statement.

Adoption for gay couples is legal under most circumstances, though religious organizations are allowed to bar such applicants in their own adoption programs. Gay celebrities who can afford to pay (or donate) handsomely to cut to the front of the line for an adoption -- or pay off surrogate mothers to carry their children -- are not looked up to, since poor gay couples lack the means to do the same.

Straight from the storage cabinets of the Office: Basic Things to Know
It is illegal for homosexuals to reside in the capital city, or within the city suburban areas, own a business, marry same-gender, protest, attend social gatherings, run for government offices, marry a heterosexual, attend/be part of major organizations; civilian or non-civilian (military, paramilitaries, and any other armed groups/forces). They may not enter places of worship/own texts of any religion. They may not leave the country. They may not live near 200 kilometers of any unsecured border segment. They may not engage in sexual activity. Gender change is outlawed for heterosexuals and homosexuals. They are not allowed to act in medical donation. They must be fully clothed when at coastal regions and in public. They may not have children or be guardians.

Same rights and privileges as everyone else.

Although Osman Rum is now a secular nation, it is still an Islamic majority nation, and as such, discrimination is common, although there has been a concerted effort on behalf of government to prevent discrimination in recent years. Despite this, Homosexuals still face several legal discriminatory barriers.

Homosexual sex is legal.

The age of consent for Homosexual sex is the same as Heterosexual Sex (16).

The right to change legal gender is also allowed.

However, gay marriage is not recognised by the state, and neither are Homosexuals allowed to adopt children. Homosexuals are also exempt from military conscription, which has led many men to pose as Homosexual to avoid service in the Osman Army. Homosexual men are not allowed to donate blood.

However, an anti-discrimination bill was recently drafted by the President, but has yet to come into force.

The Federation is a very strong supporter of the LGBT rights. Persecution of these non-heterosexuals is considered to be a huge civil rights violation. A bill is currently awaiting approval to allow military intervention to assist the oppressed LGBTs in their tyrannical governments.

Federal law has permitted same-sex marriage for the past twenty years. Although, homosexuals are not allowed to serve in the military openly. The military has adopted a "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy similar to that of the U.S. The majority of the population supports removing this policy, but only a few politicians do.
