In most prisons, life is pretty spartan, as inmates are given the basic necessities, nothing more or less. The same is true with rehabilitation facilities as well. For penal laborers, life is pretty harsh considering the inmates have to work 12 hours a day working in factories and mines. For those condemned to gladiator fights, life is very brutal considering the inmates have to engage in annual gladiator fights with other gladiators in addition to a diverse array of vicious animals, meaning the lifespan of the average gladiator is very short (of course, some do survive long enough to be set free from their predicament, provided they do not commit any further crimes).

In Nazi Centauri,the Penal System is divided onto three in which the first two,they are placed at a "5 Star" Prison as we believe that rehabilitation & renewal is key in both mentally,physically and spiritually while the last is that they are sent to a Ultramaximum Security Prison in which they are locked down 24/7 or if they're serving the death penalty,they are given spiritual classes and physical exercises to prepare them for their sentence.

Routine Life of a Normal Inmate

At 0700 hours sharp,Reville is played in the prison to signal it's time to wake up.The cell doors are open allowing prisoners to do a one hour Jog in which they will go for their morning shower and breakfast in the Mess Hall. After breakfast,prisoner's will go to rehabilitation classes in which they will learn skills that they will need for life outside and GCE-A Levels Classes in which they can obtain while they time being served. After lunch,they will go for a one hour spiritual class allowing for them to reflect themselves in the past. After that,they are free to do what ever they want in which most go to the Gaming room or the Gym. Socializing amongst prisoners is encouraged. In the evening,they will go for an evening shower and dinner. After that,they can retreat to their bunk to watch TV or go to the Library for some reading.At 2200 hours,Supper is served before lights out at 2300 hours.

P.S:- We even have starbucks to cater the prisoner's daily caffeine need

We don't have room to hold prisoners in cells -- the death penalty is used for most violent crimes.

Methods other than incarceration, such as public shaming, corporal punishment, and restorative justice are used.

Most crimes in the Solarian Isles are punished by imprisonment . Our prisons are spartan, but neither are we purposefully cruel. Criminals are fed, their basic health needs attended to, and we do our best to make sure they don't come to harm while in custody. Any cruelty found in Solarian prisons is entirely the work of the inmates themselves.

The only capital crimes currently on the books are murder and treason. Murder is punished by a single rifle shot to the back of the head. Treason, however, is still punished in the traditional manner. The condemned is placed into an airtight glass box during the late spring and summer months until they expire due to the heat or suffication. It's unpleasant, but we find it fitting that those who betray our nation and our sun god are punished by the sun's light and heat.

Well thanks,the conditions is certainly 1000% times better than my Ultramax prisons *not showing it for "humanitarian" purposes*.

P.S-You can actually stay there for CM 5 per night,Transportation included as well and you should see the foods served there as well,Top Class Rating

It depends on what you were able to buy/obtain for yourself before you went in. In general, life in a Dystaran prison or labor camp isn't as tough as it sounds as long as a prisoner keeps their head down and serves their time/effort without any fuss. When nobles go to prison, the term "gilded cage" springs to mind in description of their experience.

Long, hard gaol sentences that'll set them straight and teach them what's what, what! We also transport some convicts overseas to work in our penal colonies - they are not allowed to return to Jutland until their sentence is expired, or they may remain in the colony as a free settler if they wish.

Maxium Security is pretty bleak: minimal food/water, basic clothing sheets. I shower a week, no windows in cells.

It all depends on the offense...

Minor Cases

Minor cases such as jaywalking, contempt of court and littering are deemed minor and is either met with a small charge, community service or a small period of time in jail.

The outside of the prison, mainly the Recreational Area looks like this.

The prisoners are allowed to socialize for thirty minutes here, and spend the remaining time either mining stone, doing laps or cleaning up the Recreational Area. Prisoners are encouraged to stay fit and enjoy their stay, as it only lasts a minimum of two weeks with these minor cases.

This here is the standard room for a Minor Cases inmate, as they did not do anything wrong really, so some luxuries such as Wi-Fi, Television, Hot and Cold Water, and moderately comfy Beds are provided.

This here is the Prison Gym, the inmates must do at least an hour of fitness each day in the rooms, and our resourceful Law & Order Ministers have created a device that converts their workout into energy to help power the facility, so it's a win-win.

Moderate Cases

Moderate cases such as drunk driving, possession of illegal drugs or items (Alcohol, Marijuana etc) and causing accidents with no deaths are considered moderate and are met with larger fines, heavy community service under strict supervising or a moderate amount of time of around three months to five years, depending on the offense.

The Recreational Area looks exactly the same, but inmates stay in it for less time and are expected to go to the Gym more often. Mining stone and cleaning up is expected for longer periods of time here.

Here is the jail cell for standard moderate cases. It looks a lot more awful than the previous ones, but Wi-Fi is still accessible albeit heavily moderated and books and magazines are permissible once inspected and accepted.

The Gym is also the same for moderate case inmates, though their shift is slightly different times than the Minor Inmates.

Here is the cafeteria, the kitchen is directly behind.

Again, the Minor, Moderate Inmates have different eating times, and the Major cases have highly regulated scheduling for eating as well. The meals depend on the inmate, Minor cases eat better and more often, moderates eat mild meals and occasionally while major cases eat little and rarely (about seven times a week)

Major Cases

Major cases such as murder, treason and acts of war fall under this category and is met with either a twenty to fifty year sentence, a life sentence or death row.

Major prisoners are not allowed in the Recreational Area at all, due to fear of escape or murder of fellow prisoners.

This is the cell of a major case inmate, it is completely private and sealed from the outside world, not including the jail bars.

The Gym is only available for Major Case Inmates on specialized times and it is strictly regulated because fitness is a must.

As mentioned earlier, the Major Case Inmates have scheduled eating times away from all other prisoners, so no violence will occur.

Death row inmates are executed via high doses of either Aconitum, sufforcation from the Caladium or a painful death by high exposure to Peucedanum Galbanum. All of these are natural poisons and are fatal.

Guards and Defense

The first method of defense if escape is attempted is the inner guards, which are equipped with tasers, tranquillizer guns and knives. Some also have regular Ls Lalabati pistols to deal with more aggressive escape attempts. The guards are all armored and experienced.

The second method of defense is the alarm system, which alerts the remaining guards if the inmate has passed the inner guards, it is not sounded if the attack is being subdued by the inner guards as no further disturbance is needed.

The third method of defense is the electrified fence/concrete walls, the electric fence can kill easily and the concrete wall is near impossible to break through. The fence extends downwards slightly so inmates can't dig under it.

Another method of defense in the third stage is the outer guards, which have 6.22x55mm SY Nisana Sniper Rifles to kill inmates and Ls Dura Sota Sniper Rifles to stun or kill inmates, they are experienced marksman and have implants to improve aim.

The last method of defense is the Spi-Drones which uses cameras and tasers to stun inmates, their artificial intelligence can detect inmates by scanning their skin for a barcode which is placed on them, they then proceed to attack.

After that it's the regular polices job to try and catch the convict, and while this rarely ever happens, some inmates beat the almost impossible odds and either escape the border and lay low for the rest of their lives, until the authorities eventually find them of course.

Stachlandic prisons are progressive places focused on reforming the criminals, rather than punishing them. They are allowed more than basic liberties, and are housed in small, individual apartments scattered around a pleasant, fielded area. Few crimes are major enough in Stachland to warrant jail time, and those that are earn the perpetrator a program of focused rehabilitation.
