We have an interesting system where each letter is written in a different alphabet. Sometimes, numbers are written instead which correspond to a letter in the alphabet, but the drivers have to guess which alphabet.

Trafikkalfabetet, as our Alphabet is very similar to the Norwegian Alphabet we find this design most suited.

Was the increased size, bold typeface and allcaps really necessary? All it does is say "I am annoying" to most folk who post on this forum.

TurtleShroom uses an obscure font called "WaYoshi".

The full rights for the font were aquired by the Republic in 2006, and was first used as the standard right after they lifted their ban on cars in mid-2009 (the ban had lasted from 2008 to then).

The sign posted is the border sign for TurtleShroom. If you're up in the northwestern portion of TurtleShroom, you'll also see a large grey wall of solid concrete past this. Otherwise, you will simply pass a border checkpoint for investigation on... say, your possession of drugs, alcohol, terrorists, and other devious/illegal things. Guns, though, are supposedly allowed (depending on the type).

Going clockwise from left to right, the signs are "NO ALCOHOL", "GUNS ALLOWED", "NO DRUGS/SMOKING", "NO TERRORISTS".

The highest speed limit in TurtleShroom is 55 MPH. Suprisingly, the signs have been deemed "readable" by most creatures.

Almost all official road signs in the United Provinces of New Korongo utilise the FHWA series of fonts.
