The Montiarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Relations is the government department of the Montiarian Empire tasked with promoting the interests of the Glorious Constitutional Monarchy of the Montiarian Empire overseas, supporting Montiarian businesses and citizens internationally, and expanding the Glorious Constitutional Monarchy's diplomatic networks regionally, domestically and internationally.
The Montiarian Empire's history of diplomatic relations is remarkably short. However, our list professionally selected diplomats is expanding daily. Our diplomats have important skills in understanding and dealing with international relations, supporting our citizens travelling and living overseas, assisting and managing immigration into the Glorious Constitutional Monarchy, and promoting foreign business within the Montiarian Empire, and promoting Montiarian trade agreements and other deals internationally.
The Montiarian Empire does wish that the establishment of embassies within her boarders will help her to better understand the affairs of foreign countries and promote the establishment of trade agreements and other deals with the international community.
The Glorious Constitutional Monarchy of the Montiarian Empire; Romanian: Monarhia glorios Constitutionala a Imperiului Montiarian or GCMME, is a nation located in the southernmost part of the region of Krandovia. The Montiarian Empire was at one point an absolute monarchy until the debacle known as the Incursus-Montiarian Conflict occured after which the state became a constitutional monarchy. The Montiarian Empire's main priorities over the past years have been establishing a better society for its people and insuring the peace that the it has enjoyed over the recent years.
The Montiarian Empire is a well developed nation with its citizens retaining a decent standard of living in most parts of the nation, although the standard of living is said to be much higher in affluent areas of the Glorious Constitutional Monarchy. The Montiarian Empire is a member of the Polaris Initiative and the founder of the defunct organisation known as the Free Missouri Watch Alliance. The Montiarian Empire was is a member of the World Assembly.
A strict diplomatic immunity policy has been adopted by the Montiarian Empire. However, under an official state of war your diplomat and diplomatic staff's safety and rights will not be guaranteed.
i. Embassies within the Kingdom are required to be established in the name of peace, security, friendship and the citizens. All militaristic actions will need to be justified directly before the Minister of Foreign Affairs and international affairs.
ii. All Ambassadors or those of an equivalent rank and diplomatic staff are granted diplomatic immunity.
iii. Armed vehicles are strictly prohibited.
iv. Once diplomatic staff leave the grounds of the diplomatic building, they are expected to respect laws and property of the Montiarian Empire and her citizens.
v. All weapons must be inspected and certified for private ownership by the Interior Affairs Ministry. Uncertified private ownership of weapons within the Glorious Constitutional Monarchy is a crime, and all diplomatic staff with said uncertified weapons will be deported.
vi. There is a limit of twenty diplomatic staff allowed.
