The Great Hierarchy of Vanloan

The Vanloan are a long forgotten race of beings that once existed as a major galactic spanning empire. Around the height of their expansion into new space the Vanloan came into contact with a race known only as "The Founders". Up to this point the Vanloan had been a militaristic and technologically superior alien race, yet after attempting to conquer a Founder world the Vanloan Empire soon realized that it was a mistake. The Founders were on par with the technological mastery of the Empire and were able to match the Vanloan in every situation.

The war lasted millenniums causing nothing but strife and destruction across the entire known series of galaxies in which the Vanloan had been expanding. The Vanloan soon made a feigned plan to build and deploy a void originator, that would cause the entire universe to collapse upon itself, but lost a strategically important battle in the Andromeda galaxy, losing precious resources required for the weapon. The Founders fought on, pushing the Vanloan back into their own territory, while taking considerable losses. The empire system the Vanloan crumbled quickly as the Vanloan emperor died leading the last defence of Maron 43 in the alpha quadrant of the Andromeda galaxy, right after the grand loss at Jurek. This caused the empire to quickly crumble in terms of order, and chaos spread throughout.

Soon the Founders, finding the upper hand had repelled the Vanloan to their home world, yet the Vanloan pulled out a dimensional exporter and deployed it, throwing their solar system into another dimension entirely. Then the Vanloan deployed their last hope of survival, the swarm. The swarm is what most now believe to be the Vanloan, yet they are not Vanloan specie at all. They merely think they are, yet what is left of the Vanloan can barely be seen or found and as for the Founders. During the war the considerable losses had weakened the Founder army. In a last ditch effort to repel the combined Vanloan fleet and the Swarms that they had made the Founders killed off only the Vanloan and let the swarm run wild in their systems, determined to leave no trace of the Vanloan.

Even going as far as to enter the dimension where the Vanloan had run and using several technologies they made it a prison so that the remainder of the two factions would be forced to fight it out. The Eye, or what is known as The Eye, was all that was left after the large conflict. In fact contrary to what The Eye was thought to be, The Eye turned out to be the last remaining Vanloan, who had survived the battle only to find both the founders and his own race extinct. The Eye used the technology that he could find and built a complicated system that allowed him to see anywhere in the universe, and to be able to deploy the swarm that his faction had given birth to a long time ago. Having gone stir crazy in the dimension where he existed The Eye believed that through the use of the swarm he could rebuild the Vanloan Empire. The Eye however upon freedom from his prison regained sanity and developed out of the remenant Void technology a restarter beacon, and then sacrificing himself, died. Giving birth to the true Vanloan race,which he so often referred to as the Perfect.

Now the Vanloan have slowly rebuilt using what technology they could scrounge out of the once prison dimension, and yet have decided to no longer be an Empire. The Hierarchy that the swarm uses, seemed to work well, and so now the Hierarchy of Vanloan will rise once again.

What happened to the Swarm?
The swarm dissipated and destroyed itself as well when the restarter kicked in, it will be a long time before the Vanloan rediscover how they made such weapons.

The Divisions of the Hierarchy

Division 1

This Vanloan here is naked, they do not normally walk around naked, this is just ot give you an idea of what they look like Note:Vanloan have no sex

Though relatively small in number the Vanloan now sit at the top of the Hierarchy and command the lesser divisions. With superior DNA, intelligence and knowledge the Vanloan are sure to regain their once lost empire. A standard Vanloan is white in coloration and humanoid in figure. Highly intelligent and evolved these creatures do not require to eat, sleep, hear or smell, as all of their senses are processed through rationality of the superior Vanloan mind. They do still retain sight as more of a necessity, yet are able to see in a highly irregular spectrum giving them the advantage of not having to need lights at night time and being fine in the most disadvantageous of seeing conditions. They still retain a relatively weak biological body as opposed to a robotic body though because the Vanloan can integrate their make up with the battle suits they fit themselves into. The Vanloan are the model for genetic perfection and can not sucumb ot disease or any bio form of war fare, having mastered their bodies into the perfect temple. Note lack of pupils and other implements. The Vanloan have evolved beyond necessity of any of these items,and they reproduce Asexually.

Division 2

The Robotic are a mix of Vanloan imported knowledge onto a brain matrix and just advanced AI programming. Used as more of a stock military and labour division, the Robotic are probably the most common of standard things you will see upon the visit to the newly freed Vanloan Home world. They have been recently put into full time production, and will soon have the Vanloan back up and running again. Highly advanced in programming and hardware, these robots are the simplest of creations and are considered relatively low tech for the Vanloan. Yet they are useful and until better models can be built (possibly out of flow metal or something else) these will remain the predominant class. Seeing that there are those with memories of fallen Vanloan, they are put into command positions, and this is why the Robotics are the second highest division in the Hierarchy.

Division 3

Created through the manifestation of the light tech used to alter molecules, these creatures are really just Vanloan who were not able to fully reconstruct themselves in the transference when using molecule replacement and reconstruction. forced to wear containment suits to keep themselves in existence, they are usually used for less war like operations, and can be found on ships as pilots, or even serving as diplomats. Mostly they stay on the Vanloan worlds serving as scientists and other things. Despite the containment suit's ability to withstand punishment, no such suit can be made for warfare there fore these Vanloan have been divided into a division of their own, and act as the more logical and sensible aspect of the Grand Hierarchy.

Division 4

The prophets and creators of the Vanloan code. They never leave the home world of Void and can not exist in any other environment. Considered direct descendants of the Vanloan they have retained great knowledge and assist the beings in the greater thinking process that is used to constantly try and advanced the Vanloan towards their goal of reaching the technological level of the once great empire. They are younger than the Vanloan in terms of specie age, and probably would of become a space faring race unto themselves if the Vanloan were not reborn. Highly acceptive of the Hierarchy and seeing their ancestors as gods, the Ordar make sure that the same thing that plunged the old empire into darkness, does not occur again.

The Vanloan Home world

History=
After the freeing of The Eye, The Eye brought the Home world, known now as Void, into this universe, it now floats in the Milky Way, in its original place of power. The Home world and its remaining architecture and technology wonders, plays a huge crucial role in influencing new Vanloan Colonies. Any history that predates rebirth for this planet is not easily confirmed, and the Hierarchy does not like to discuss it either.



The Vanloan Code
A set of laws and regulations the Vanloan follow to the teeth, believing that without order there is no reason to exist. The Vanloan are essentially hard core law enforcers now as they see the alien races that have inhabited their old empire as unique and interesting, and believe they have a right to exist, if they stay in line with the law. Knowing full well that the Vanloan will not reach its original state for a very long time, especially when they are avoiding the aggressive empire system that originally brought the downfall of the empire. Yet the code is very harsh towards alien species and is easily broken, and this allows the Vanloan to revoke the rights of that species and then allow the Vanloan to conquer them. Many see the Vanloan as annoying and outdated in their chance to rule. Yet none can dispute the technology and fire power the Vanloan put behind these laws and so many try to follow them when the Vanloan are looking.

The Division Heads
Used as a form of Authority in the Hierarchy, the division heads run and operate their own divisions and meet regularly on the planet Void at the capital City of Refract to discuss how things should be one. Each division has higher authority then the ones below it and yet are all heard equally at the same time. With the first division head being the only one who can override another divisions authority. Seeing as the Vanloan are the master species, this of course makes perfect sense, and prevents the system falling apart at the loss of a leader giving temporary authority to the next highest division head. If all division heads are killed, then a new division head will be named for each division within a matter of minutes, based on an already extensive network of information about the populace. Over time when a division head dies or is killed and it is not an emergency, the new head will be decided in a similar way , yet will go over much more variables.

The Head of Division One:Xeron
Named the leader of the first division based on his past credentials. Being the first Vanloan to regain full memory of his past life he was considered an excellent choice. He now sits in the capital city of Refract and delegates and controls the Hierarchy through order. The Vanloan are seeing a new beginning that will prosper under his leadership.

The Head of Division Two: Rarth (Or model 0)
Named the leader of the robotics simply because in his past life he was a great general in the Vanloan empire. Unfortunately unable to be re-birthed do to age, his memories were put inside a robotic, from which he now uses his skills to rule the division. Mostly aggressive in thinking he has had to get used to the Vanloan not being what they once were.

The Head of Division Three: Ethnral
Very intelligent and subject to molecular rebuilding, he was a great philosopher in the old Vanloan Empire and now he leads the beings in their logical and rational decision making. Getting used to his containment suit and the fact that along with the other beings they should be dead, is not easy yet Ethnral has persevered and is using his knowledge and his people to help the Hierarchy succeed where the Empire failed.

The Head of Division Four:Jyglag
A wise friendly and kind leader, he was once the tribal leader for the Ordar, but after the rebirth of his ancestors, he quickly rose to division head in order to help his people cope with the new technology and life style that quickly enveloped everything they once knew. Always looking at the peaceful way to approach things Jyglag is also the main proponent of bringing order where ever the Vanloan go, and is considered a truly great leader despite him not being directly Vanloan.

Clothes: Tradition Division meeting close are like those worn on the ships the Hierarchy Deploys, usually they are coloured pearl and outlined in silver (Though white opal(colour) and platinum, or Snow and White gold are also common) , and for the less important attendees they are the standard white and grey.

The Citizens
Very intelligent an average citizen lives a life of strict laws and usually spends most of their days either training to become part of the military, or studies to become part of the massive amount of scientists, researchers and engineers that make up the working world for the Hierarchy. This is do to the obsession with knowledge and technology and any other service is seen as mundane. The interaction between divisons is so perfect that one would not remember there was distinct groups as the multitude of Vanloan and other Vanloan related species that interact in the Hierarchy are utopian in mind and see each other as Vanloan and nothing else (this includes the robotics).

The average Hierarchy citizen is very kind and generous, yet to a point and then they will defend selfishness. They like knowledge and technology and like having discussions on philosophy, politics, history, science, technology, and even the non-fictional. In fact science fiction is such a large industry in the Hierarchy that it has grown to be the only form of entertainment available other than educational entertainment. The average clothes for a citizen is white robes with grey trim.

As well as seeing aliens on a Vanloan planet is quite common as tourists are welcome, while immigrants are barred from all Vanloan worlds, and the penalty is death for defiance. Most accept this and many other laws as necessary and the police force, which is made up of a division combined and deployed force, is seen as also a necessary tool. Jobs are assigned around creation/ birth (seeing as the Vanloan reproduce Asexually and the Ordar reproduce sexually, as they have females) and it is based on what roles need to be filled in the Hierarchy. Most citizens accept this and do not care about their jobs, as a citizen is allowed to make their own work hours and are paid for them as such, they are also allowed to change their profession whenever they want.

Only in the military is a certain citizen barred. For example the Ordar can not join the military for their own safety, as they have to live on Void do to the high pressure environment. The Hierarchy is able to make technology that allows them to travel off world, just nothing that would protect them from the weapons of the universe. Beings, having a containment suit that if broken, they die, are also barred from being part of ground forces, but are allowed on ships as their knowledge is seen as invaluable and a good asset to any Abbey Master. Once in the army you can not switch out and serve a life sentence. This is not seen as bad as the opals are good and the hours are not bad considering the Hierarchy tends to be peaceful.

All conventional problems like overpopulation are not an issue as everything is heavily regulated. An interesting note, that because of the advance technology of the Hierarchy, tasks that one might see as difficult are fairly easy. Anyway the average citizen is quite content living in a harsh yet utopian system.

Language
Though Universal code is spoken. Zelin is what the Vanloan communicate in using their special connection. In fact both Ordar and Beings also communicate using this link and in Zelin. Zelin is hard to understand and very complicated. While universal code is easily understood, as it is instantly translated into the language of the receiver.Universal code was developed for inter species communication, while Zelin has its roots in the civilization and culture. In fact Zelin is almost all slang with various random vowels and does not constitute well. Relatively sounding like hollowed out and slowed down english and latin mixed.

The Military (Ground Forces and Tech)

History
The Hierarchy military ground forces really only consist of two divisions. One and Two. After rebirth the military went instantly into training and production of weapons and war robotics was the main goal. In order to secure the system the Hierarchy found itself in. The training is fairly regular and though far more modified and calculated then natural it fits the Hierarchy's style. The training for division one and two is in fact uploaded directly into the minds of both the Vanloan and the robotics. The close combat styles are focused around doing damage with every blow. While the long range training focuses around confusing the enemy and keeping distance. Ironically despite their constant reference to order, most tactics for division one revolve around creating chaos and confusion. Yet division two fight in a fairly ordered format.

A Secretary in a squad is marked by having the Symbol of the Hierarchy on their left shoulder. This is not that prominent and if a Secretary is downed in a battle, a Vanloan is instantly chosen in a matter of seconds to replace the Secretary, as all Vanloan qualify to become one, and the original one was chosen at random anyway. A constant stream of connection is kept with the Council at all times to ensure tactical warfare, and the connection used is almost impossible to jam, as the technology basically just amplifies the biological mental connection that all members of the HIerarchy share.

Division One

Command Structure
Despite a common misconception that all militaries require an extensive command structure, the military for division one is in fact commanded by two levels. The first one being, every squad had one Secretary, which is like a commander, able to react on the battlefield and able to give commands and integrate and plan with other Secretaries. Giving the Secretaries orders is the council, a group of tacticians and other minds of the Hierarchy that co-ordinate the larger attacks and where the squads should be. These two levels are all that is needed in a battlefield situation, where as the division heads are the top of the pyramid in terms of authorization, yet the council is supposed to take care of the legal framework, analyzations, and logistics of every battle. Being a logical faction, the Hierarchy does not require any other matrix of command, as this works perfectly.

Sectors
Sectors for Division One are groups of different out-fittings and armaments, along with different roles to fill on the battlefield. Every Vanloan that joins the Division One military is split up randomly according to the Sector with the highest demand and assumes any role required to be filled. A Secretary for each squad in a certain sector is chosen randomly when squads are formed. Squads operate in the size of 10, and Sectors usually number in the thousands, depending on the Sector, all Vanloan are only deployed in squads of 10, for flexibility allowing the Council to more strategically organize assaults.

Vanloan are trained in these arts, and robotic are programmed with them before they enter military training so they are well prepared for close combat situations and are mentally sound.

The Voron Battle Suit

Though different tech equipped to each different Sector, the battle suit remains the same. The Voron battle suit imbeds into the nerves of its host. Yet though the molecular metal and soft ware remain similar, due to patch updates and hardware differences, other than a standard teleportation system and analyzation package the suit differs per Sector, but not in look. The suit also improves the strength,speed etc of its host, and allows further filtration of atmosphere environments and air less environment. One sees the suit as an integral part of the Hierarchy's ground forces, seeing as the A.I. assistant program will take over if the pilot dies, and the pilot can control the suit if the A.I. is damaged.

Sector 1- The Adepts
The other basic ground forces of the Vanloan(other than the robotic infantry), used to fulfill a standard role of fighting and encountering enemy ground forces, in a unique way. Using a variety of weapons available to the Hierarchy the adepts are well trained in using any and every means in a battle. Having spent their entire lives in training and studying a Vanloan adept is prepared for every situation with a decent learning in the field and the ability to think on its feet. A standard adept is far more knowledgeable then some other aliens most intelligent strategy developers are.

Though lacking in sheer strength they make up in technology and brains. Every adept is equipped with a standard Voron Battle suit, that is hardwired into the Vanloan adept , and who trains with this suit for their entire lives. The suit augments the physical capabilities of the Vanloan inside of it and allows the Vanloan to breath and survive in the harshest climates. Along with several additional software add ons that allow the adept to survey the battlefield, see in various forms (heat, night vision) it is the ultimate battle pocket knife,even coming with its own blade inserted into the suit.It also comes with a standard void cube and long range teleportation acceptance system (see tech section).

Sector 2- The initiates

The more armoured and vetern-ized versions of the adepts, the Initiates serve the same role as the adepts, but are usually given the more specific objective based missions, as being veterans, they have more experience and knowledge in those fields assigned to them. The standard Voron Battle suit with added armour support allows a Initiate to take a smaller amount of damage before the suit's systems fail, and have been made this way due to the situations the Initiates are thrown into. Other than a mere suit upgrade and some more experience along with a different role, the Initiates carry the same gear as an Adept and are still seen as run of the mill standards to the Hierarchy despite some other factions seeing them as elites.

Sector 3-The Illusionists
A more tech allocated soldier, still coming with a standard short distance teleporting as the suit comes pre fit with one,thought the other tech includes illusion field tech. Able to produce real like forms of himself, a standard mage can confuse enemies, and in addition can switch places with an illusion through teleportation and the adaptive illusion field, allowing a confusing assault and devastating results.

Sector 4-The Shades
A stealth oriented class armed with shadow tech adaptive armour, jamming fields, and silent weaponry. Able to teleport silently and without any sign of commotion. The extravagant tech used to make a silent assault or attack, the shades are some of the best special operatives in the Hierarchy. Used to take out important targets, they are a valuable resource to the sectors.

Sector 5- The Archons
A damage oriented class given heavy weaponry and demolitions and set out to take out high priority and heavily armoured targets. Heavier armoured and heavier armed they are some of the more destructive forms of infantry and the bane of many heavy armoured divisions of the future.

Division 2

Command Structure/Roles
Governed the same way as division one.Every squad of Robotic, including vehicle like robotic have a Secretary Robotic and they too report to the council. Divided into the standard squads sizes seen fit for their roles. There are however no Sectors in division 2 as they are usually seen as fulfilling different roles as a single entity and not various infantry units like Division one. Though both divisions fight in union, without one or the other the Hierarchy would surely suffer. The Divisions are intact only split in terms of the army, based on the roles they intend on playing as Divisions one plays a specialist role, and Division two plays the traditional role.


Robotic Infantry

Used as grunts and a main military force, the robotic outnumber even the Adepts and are used in a more traditional style of warfare as they molecular armour, and tech that can be built into them make them superior infantry that can risk casualties. The Robotic are not used as specialist though for the Vanloan see themselves as filling those positions, and are not equipped with tele-porters, as they are able to withstand more damage, though they are able to wield heavier weapons then the Vanloan and do. Trained through software they are easily produced for war and due to superior engineering and software they can outmatch simple robots,drones, or droids. Often seen in the front lines fighting in a legion like fashion the Robotic infantry are good fighters and relentless.

Robotic Armoured Division

The Tabernacle acts as a support platform ,able to be equipped with heavier weapons that the infantry can not carry. This ability along with the shock stabilizers allow and easy floating, robotically controlled system allows perfect targeting and efficiency. Usually being deployed with specific forces.The Heavily armed Tabernacle does lack shields, though the molecular armour is able to protect it for the most part.Being a Robotic controlled system, it is fairly straight forward in its mission and accurate / more then adequate in its purpose and role, and though small it provides excellent support.

The Druid acts as a scout and carries the smaller armament of the arc. With 8 light focusers, armed lightly to pepper the enemy while scanning their movements and tactics, even coming with various illusion tech and or stealth tech. Lightly armoured and computer run the druid works expertly as any initial scanner.

The Shaman is a support vehicle used to aid in delivering reinforcements if there is too much anti-space vessel platforms within the delivery zone using de-atom technology, and even carries a decent armoury of weapons that can shred the enemy if it encounters minor resistance. The only tank to be armoured with a form of teleportation system. Used commonly to harass enemy positions with constant supplies of troops and fire support.

The Warlock acts as the main armour behind the ground forces of the Hierarchy, using an energy focuser with intensified light and loosened coils to allow a template of energy over enemy forces. Armed with light focuser rays to take out more infantry as well, the Warlock is the ultimate support and is able to even use their main gun to destroy some enemy armour.

The Sorcerer acts as an anti armour tank, and is able to focus a more single point beam of light and energy in a beam faction. The smaller light rays also populate the hull to ward off infantry. Able to penetrate the heaviest of armour and de atomize and ionize the enemy vehicles.

The Wizard uses light focusing rays and targeting systems ,the Wizard can bring down the toughest space ship fighter. Used for anti air in situations, and anti missile deployment, the wizard is a great addition to the armoury. With smaller light focusing rays to defeat infantry and light tanks. The constant rate of fire is a literal rain of fire.

An artillery piece that uses an actual material item, a missile made out of basic metals and glass containing high intensified plasma and energy that upon impact explodes in a large area. Each missile is re-atomized and reconstructed upon the platform so that the weapon never runs out of ammo, yet these weapons are expensive to field and yet they are very powerful. The deliverance can be assured to be seen in a full scale Vanloan assault.

A powerful weaponized tank support that fires an intense large beam of pure De-atomizing technology. Similar to the smaller and gun "Noisy Cricket" but on a tank scale, this weapon can obliterate things in front of it if given incentive. Heavy armour and some lighter weapons to shred smaller targets, makes this tank a havoc wreaked in the enemies lines. Commonly deployed to take care of unusual targets, nothing can withstand its massive weapon.

A mobile energy shield generator used to shield large portions of the advancing Hierarch force over open and dangerous areas. Able to withstand small fire,and most medium fire it keeps those within relatively safe from harm. A simple but valuable tool. The Nun also can carry medical crew, engineers etc inside(With outfitted equipment) and can also generate a stealth field instead of a shield, so it is able to be used for almost every situation and act as a base of operation during a conflict.

The Military (Space Forces and Tech)

History of the Hierarchy's space fleet and forces
The Hierarchy fleet has always been around since the forming of the Empire. The ships within the fleet have changed though after the rebirth, yet the classes and ranks maintained. Its use has never changed and its directive has not altered. The Vanloan still aim to achieve their old empire back, and hope to be a force in the universe to contend with.

Engines
Gravitic drives
All ships bear these engines, at different sizes. Perfectly functioning under even the most crippled conditions, and able to change speed based on the energy inputed into the engine. Such an engine could even be used to travel at a hyperspace speed if enough energy is inputed, even at the smallest size. Yet this waste of energy is pointless when the Hierarchy uses a portal jump drive to cross large amounts of space.

With the ability to de-atmoize and re-atomize Vanloan or robotic troops to be deployed on the battlefield. Used to get troops relatively long distances and are used for long travel. In terms of short area transportation, the personal tele porters are used to travel the distance. The Descendant has been the mainstay for the Vanloan fleet and used for centuries due to its reliability, some improvements to the model and technology have been made, but until technology from before the fall can be recovered, then the ship will remain relatively the same, as the design fits the function perfectly.

Used to connect vast points of space for easier trade and military travel by ship. Portal jumps or hyper jumps normally used could reach the same distances but not in the same amount of time, usually taking a lot longer. Having Star gates greatly reduces the time and fuel necessary to send reinforcements or trade goods to another part of the universe or galaxy and is a mandatory thing that the Vanloan build whenever they conquer a planet or make allies.

The Weapons

Light focusing technology has come a long way since its basis, and as such was utilized as a early stage weapon. After such a renewable early generated source like light, such technology became instantly common within the Hierarchy. Using technology surrounding the focusing and absorbing of light, weapons that were able to project bursts and or beams of light were able to be created.

Focusers provided the light beam at generation with a more intense and therefore more accurate and stronger shot, while the heat generated by propelling light at such a velocity was used to increase the damage the beam or burst inflicted. Such things like laser rifle technology was used in the skeleton of these weapons as similar energy was being unleashed and yet there was no need to recharge the weapon ,or use a cartridge battery. Such weapons only required a cool down time after a certain amount of energy exerted the internal components.

Gravity technology and Zero-point energy manipulator technologies have been used in large scale demolition or if the Hierarchy wants to introduce or remove certain amounts of pressure on a certain target. However gravity technology was found to be very hard to implement and very expensive to use and so took a back seat to other more effective and cheaper forms of technology,yet still developed, introducing specific weapons like the Gravity Shotgun seen above, where upon firing a gravity shell, the pellets upon impact would activate and increase(or decrease) the pressure on the target to an immense degree crushing them.

This shotgun proved so powerful and useful it became a favoured weapon among those entering close quarter situations, and with instant stopping power your target if hit by this will die. However the use of ammo cartridges deviates heavily from the energy based weapons , and as such there are those who hate using this weapon as they have to remember to reload it.

Ionic weaponry has been fairly popular especially when such a energy can disable almost all forms of electronic sources selectively, unlike EMPs. Ionic specific weapons have been known to be deployed in situations where the enemy is heavily reliant on forms of energy production and usually end in less casualties on the Hierarchy side. It is also common for ionic technology to be combined with other forms of technology to induce both a destructive force and a disabling one, especially for enemies who heavily rely on electronic systems. Usually these weapons are only deployed in niche situations.

Portal technology was developed to transport and allow the bending of space. Used primarily as non-harmful technology, more more either containment, or space utilization, or of course transportation. Teleportation being more instant was used for personal movement, and yet Portal technology on a large scale has been found to be superior and as such been used in the movement of sips over space. In weapon form, portal technology is used to disorient the enemy and manoeuvre around them or move them around, using the battlefield a personal playground. Not commonly seen the portal gun is still in military production and will always be the only portal technology weapon available.

De-atomizing technology works in multiple ways. If it is either flaying atoms from the target, dispersing them, or simply destroying them the technology is one of the most destructive force on any scale. Able to zombie with other technologies and integrate atom destruction with ionization or light focusing weapon and creating a very destructive force. Found commonly on the battlefield combined with other weapons, it is uncommon to see a specific de-atomizing weapon used for infantry purposes,yet on ships or armoured vehicles they are common.

Plasma technology was really basic and as such quickly eliminated from almost all aspects of the military except close combat weaponry. Plasma was found to be more effective then anything else and therefor it has maintained itself as a cutting implement able to slice through everything, used in technology like light sabers in other nations, the Vanloan uses it within their combat knives.

Sound based weapons are used for causing havoc amongst enemy lines and disrupt the train of thought that one has. Able to shatter ear drums and cause quakes within the earth. Sound weapons are not common as Gravity technology can out perform it in many of the areas it would be implemented, and as such it is usually found in combination with other tech or used to disrupt communications and cause insanity through constant irritating noise. The Vanloan also use this technology to make themselves immune to other sound technology and force themselves to concentrate on the battle at hand.

Heat weaponry is based on the utilization of radiation or liquid nitrogen to increase/ decrease a targets temperature. Such technology can be utilized extremely effectively on the right targets. As such it is still in use. However on the wrong targets it is useless and so it is not commonly used. The tech finds itself more often on ships outfitted to deal with non-shielded enemies, or in the hands of specialist teams for optional situation use. It comes in handy in the right situation enough to be commonly issued in such areas and is a very reliable form of technology. Counter temperature/ sound is also employed but some would not call how a weaponized format.

Black hole technolog has been successfully developed to the point where mini-blackholes can be easily generated from immense amounts of energy input, by ripping certain elements of the universe and creating a black hole that can suck in relative sized masses tearing them apart. A micro black hole is almost as dangerous as a normal sized black hole if left unchecked, yet due to the amount of energy need to maintain it to reach that level is immense. Creating normal sized black holes is also now available to the Hierarchy, and even some ships carry the ability though it takes even more energy then a micro black hole and as such renders a ship otherwise useless.

Common Weapon Layouts
The Mirror Assault Rifle

The standard rifle for the Hierarchy, firing a magnified light pulse infused with both ion and de-atom technology combined for an effective rain of devastating fire, with an analyzing scope attachment and a self cooling system, this gun can effectively and accurately fire in such a continuous fashion that it provides an almost endless attack. The weight is light and the size is proportionate so that it is easy to wield and move around.

The Reflection Battle Rifle

A more accurate rifle then the Mirror, however it is slower firing in that it produces a beam and not a pulse. Producing a beam at extended range, with a constant rate. The extra intensification of the light means it is deadlier and being combined with some extra de-atomizing technology makes the beam rather deadly. Instead of having ion combined in the beam however, there is an option on the gun to fire a pure ion beam, which is produced below the regular burst emission.

The Lance

The Lance is one of the most powerful and devastating weapons the Hierarchy use. The Lance focuses a trifecta of light, Ion and De-atom at such a level and then releases it at over-exertion forces. This weapon rips apart anything it touches in one burst. Large versions of these weapons with more destructive capabilities are found upon ships(Larger version called Light focuser canon). Such weapons treat armour like paper and though taking a while to charge it is very useful and accurate. Though unlike its larger counter parts this weapon can be set to a more rapid fire mode and fire its beam at such a rate that it is blinding and impossible to dodge. This ability makes it viable as a turret, which it is commonly deployed as, or with a stand.

The Ripper

The Ripper uses intense energy charging and expels a large force of contained propel energy creating an explosive force that covers a large surface. Able to rip apart tank armour with ease and disintegrate life instantaneously. Using only Ion and De-atom energies, there is no light basis within this gun as its purpose is to produce a large force of explosion. The weapon also has the ability to also use gravity to move items and propel them at a large velocity. This allows the gun to have military capability while recharging the original burst and make it viable in all situations.

The Gravity Shotgun

With the ability to increase gravity or decrease gravity on a given target. Close range, but really powerful, even able to bend metals on certain light tanks. This gun produces results in terms of death dealing and has become one of the many tools of war used by the Hierarchy.

The Predator
Image
A long range power sniper rifle, which can target up to immense ranges and lay down such an intense beam. With a small light beam cp,biked with a large ion and de-atomizing beam, this gun fires and exhaust an energy clip every time fired, that must be then recharged. Silent but extremely deadly, with the right sharp shooter this gun can penetrate tanks and cause massive damage. Seen in deployment for special operations or battlefield pinning, the Predator is something all enemies of the Hierarchy should fear as one may end up being pointed at their head.

The Noisy Cricket

A side arm that unleashes a large burt of de-atom energy at its target. Common issue within the Hierarchy and a feared weapon amongst the stars. It can be very powerful for such a small weapon, though multiple settings allows it to fire like a standard formal fire arm.

The Religion

The Religion

Though most of the Hierarchy is atheist, the religion that they used to believe was very influential, so much so that they still keep records of it today. In fact it has influenced many designs and the naming of several thing in Vanloan culture, Those who still worship the religion are those in division four and this is do to the fact that the Ordar strangely followed the same religion, primitive Vanloan followed, they still believe it and follow its teachings even though it is widely seen as primitive and unrealistic. The belief is polytheistic and is called Xalin. Xalin is an old religion based around a pantheon of various gods.
The Creation myth is that the great creator Forin created the universe and all of the gods and then retired as he made the universe self sufficient and it no longer needed him.

Out of pure creation however came pure destruction and the great destroyer Apoctis was born and roams the universe destroying planets and suns and wiping put entire species. Then there is Rang Sha, the god of all Vanloan kind, Rang Sha is said to of battled Apoctis at one point in time, defeating him in a duel, and saving all of the Vanloan from destruction. The other gods are in control of the forces of nature and Vanloan's various mind sets. Such as Shar the god of evil,fear, the moon, and the night, though not evil himself, Shar does rule over the fate of those who commit evil and dams them to eternal darkness.

The Pantheon
Forin the Creator-Worshippers that follow Forin, do not kill or destroy anything, they instead sit still and admire all creation for its purpose. there are not many worshippers of Forin despite him being the creator, for Forin is said not to bless very often, if at all.

Apoctis the Destroyer-Worship of this god is not allowed and considered a bad omen. Though it is said that if you do, you will be destroyed entirely and made into a powerful being of destruction.

Rang Sha the Saviour,God of Order, time, structure, technology,Knowledge, advancement and diplomacy -This god has the most worshippers as they worship him for merely saving Vanloan kind from the wrath of Apoctis. Rang Sha is said to give the gift of great power, and is the basis for all of their beliefs surrounding order.

Shar the night- The god of evil,death, darkness, fear, the moon and the night, legend says he lives in perfect harmony with his sister.

Srah the day- Goddess of good,life, light, bravery, the sun and the day, she lives in harmony with her brother and raises the sun after Shar raises the moon.

Arcan- God of the elements , the seasons,war,nature, the harvest, and peace. Legend says Arcan was created in order to specifically watch over Void and its nature and now watches over the rest of the Hierarchy's planets

Gyik- Goddess of prosperity, and master of the small things. Gyik is basically the grandmother goddess of everything else the other gods do not take care of, though she controls much, she is probably the weakest.

Mathal- God of Insanity, Madness, Chaos, and nonsense- Mathal exists simply to toy with life itself and rules over everything that is weird or strange. He is not seen as evil however, even though the Vanloan despise destruction, they do not seem to hate insanity or chaos seeing it as a necessary balance to order.

The Surveillance Fleet
History
The Vanloan have always been keen to unlock every mystery in reality and beyond, as such since the beginning of space travel they have designed and operated a fleet dedicated to finding, unlocking and analyzing everything that can be analyzed, as well as studying and monitoring the enemy. Even having two worlds put aside from usual colonization to store such vast amounts of information. Scholars live on these planets to study and they use the profits from these planets to fund the fleet. This fleet is seen as important as the military in the fight against the universe and its horrors and as such, professions within this realm are held in high regard. In fact even within the military there has to be at least one professional from the surveillance fleet aboard all vessels. Though it is mostly made up of Division one, two and three on world, off world it is mostly division one and two.Robotics however do claim majority in terms of roles played within the fleet, similar to the way all fighters are robotic in the war fleet. If you ever feel like someone is watching you, especially an alien race, it is most likely this fleet

Drone is a rank that envelops all the Robotic operators that work within the surveillance fleet, while the other classes indicate the other divisions or higher skilled robotic that process the data, study it and file it. It is a surprisingly short process to acquire and file the information as that is easy, it is the analyzing and studying that takes ages. Yet this is why the Vanloan are so technologically advanced. In fact this system has not changed how it works since the dawn of the Vanloan Empire.

This vessel has no weapons what so ever on it as its goal is not to encounter and engage enemies, if situations come up where weapons are needed this ship runs away. Being a robot entirely it functions merely to monitor and record, having two smaller robots and one larger robot drone to get into areas and find things, each having their own equipment. Able to enter atmosphere and almost every climate with ease, this ship with its scanners and toolbox of surveillance equipment is ideal and therefore the most numerous ship within the Surveillance fleet.

The surveillance fleet is also the fleet that runs the repair and maintenance of all the structures and ships the Hierarchy owns. These ships can even in battle grab onto a ship and drive it out of the battle to begin repairs. Using mini robots and other tools this robotic ship can repair something within minutes no matter the size. It can also construct and collect heavier objects that a surveillance ship can not, so it is used for retrieving technology or other things of interest.

HIstory
When cloning technology first came across the Hierarchy they used it merely to grow food stocks and record/experiment with strange genetic material. Yet after much debate, thought, consideration, and examining, the process was adapted to create a form of supplementary army for the Hierarchy. One more expendable then the Vanloan yet able to fill similar roles and as such an army of Vanloan clones were created. Yet when the Robotic filled the role as the main ground force unit, the cloning ideal went out the window as cloning a Vanloan was no longer seen as worth it and it had proven that messing with the already altered Vanloan DNA, bad things happened.

Yet upon discovery of the species known as Human the Hierarchy reborn its interest in cloning, yet this time they decided to make it a specific military function. These humans were obviously not as superior as the Vanloan and as such they could not be allowed a division within the Hierarchy, and so the Vanloan code defined clones as purely military or service vessels and not able to be granted division status. The Hierarchy then went about cloning the finest subject they could find in the form of a human,and cloned it creating a force of soldiers that could be deployed in large amounts anywhere. As such ever since, this division of clones has been dubbed the "Auxiliary" and used to fight in large scale battles or easily deployed in situations where a force of Vanloan was not able to reach in a good amount of time. The Auciliary performs rather well and is seen by the Hierarchy as a great tool in their arsenal

Rank/ Command Structure
Like the Vanloan squads there are two levels the second still being the Council. Yet instead of Secretaries commanding the squads, there are Supervisors, which are clones who performed exceptionally well during training and tests, and as such are given the rank of Supervisor to command their auxiliary. Other then this minor name difference the squad size is the same and the way the command system works is the same. There is one minor difference being that the other divisions out rank the Auxillary in every way, which explains the name difference but this is nothing.

Perfectly healthy, 20/20 vision, no mental or physical issues, everything about this human was good enough for the cloning program and as such it is his DNA that each clone takes into war. They all look like this man and though he is now just a bunch of DNa in containment his face will be remembered for centuries as he marches on the enemies of the Vanloan in the hundreds.

Process and Training
The Clones are built first by duplicating the genetic code provided to the robotic systems that run the process, then after a genetic code is copied, fertilized eggs are grown in an accelerated process in order to speed up early aging (This is to compensate within the auxiliary for loses taken.) and as such all knowledge and train gin is forced upon them through accelerated information input. As the genetics of what was originally a human are improved to that of a smarter more fit and healthy clone these clones are able to hold any amount of knowledge inputed within them and as such end up thinking like the Vanloan do, but are different as they are human (only in form.). Partial conversion occurs on the clones at this stage and as such they gain Vanloan mental capacity, immunity to disease and the genetic connection that all Vanloan have, yet they are still able to speak and ooh human, though are hairless, have some parts missing (pinky toe, nipples, reproduction area etc).

After they have been accelerated to an age of 18, they are slowed to normal rate and implanted so that they die at the age of 65, usually those that reach an age of 64 return to the cloning facilities and have their genetic code recycled for future use. All clones receive basic training in core military skills, such as weapons handling, marksmanship, and other essentials, necessary for combat, and are provided with a great expansive knowledge of other things that relate to combat. Clones are then fully prepared and trained like any normal Vanloan solider, just under their own leadership. They are also familiarized with the weapons of the Hierarchy and use the same ones the Vanloan do. They are fed essential nutrient meals and water daily (5 times a day) and forced to exercise, train and obtain knowledge(and then are tested) the other times. They are treated rather well considering they are not a division and act more like a robot then the human they came from thanks to the removal of emotions and other annoying aspects of humans (like the sex drive.).

The HCA Suit

The colour is base white, Supervisors have their armour painted with some grey outlining, all bear the Auxiliary symbol on the shoulders. All lights are a dim blue

The Hierarchy Clone Auxiliary suit was made and adapted for the clone auxiliary in order to meet demands for a cheap but efficient suit of armour able to keep the wearer alive and make them effective in combat. Easily produced,the size and bulk of some types of armour requires frequent training on the part of the Clones. it is known to contain…
1. Backpack system (Air conditioner, Heat system, basic grav pack for larger jumps and stationing on lesser or higher gravity areas.)
2. Visor System: Lights flicker on the interior of the visor's rim acting as a basic guide. Green, yellow and presumably red feature, keeping the user informed of the suit's integrity,outside threats and conditions and other things.
3. Shoulder housed ammunition reloads and sensor arrays,etc.
4. Structural support (supports the user's body, eg. adjusts itself to fit a firing stance, improving the gunner's aim).
5. Salvage System: Should the suit's arm or leg be breached, the suit seals it off in a tourniquet.
6. Immunity to small arms fire, and some medium arms. A needle gun can penetrate the suit, however.
7. Ten day endurance on internal recycling alone.
8. Average (nuclear/biological/chemical/energy) shielding.
9. Life support.

The Knowledge Sect

The symbol of the sect, known for being the symbol of The Marker that the old Vanloan built which now sits at the centre of the north pole on Void.

History
The Sect of the Hierarchy that studies, files, and records Knowledge of everything and anything. Studies on planets, social analysis's of specific people of a specific gender or species. The entirety of everything the Vanloan know, hypothesis or think they will know is what this sect deals with. So expansive is their knowledge that some hypothesize within the worlds were there knowledge is stored there lies some knowledge from the past that could give light to what technology was lost. As such scholars and librarians study the knowledge endlessly, with the main head office of this sect being in the North pole of Void built around the marker. This sect logically works closely with the Surveillance fleet operatives and acts basically like the same order.
